Rhoda
SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO, NOW? Sorry, I couldn't help myself. It all depends on what you want in life. Are there more career prospects in El Paso? What is it you want to do with your life? What's influencing your move?
Aussiebushmatt
SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO, NOW? Unsurprisingly, that was the first thing that came into my head as well OT: Like MK said, it depends what sort of opportunities are in this new area. If there isn't anything fantastic, you should stay with your girl/friends etc.
Rhoda
Just something else to add, if you are indeed a minor and your move is influenced by your family relocating then you have very little say in whether you stay or not unless you're desperate and you can find relatives to stay with. I'm only taking educated stabs in the dark as I've no idea how old you are or anything, so forgive me if I'm pissing the proverbial wind. TheScorpion
It's down to you, and what you think is best for you. Look at both situations and choose which option outweighs the other!
Rhoda
If you think the change of pace, air, atmosphere and environment would do your mind and your body good I don't see any reason too. I'm assuming you're still in school from what you've said, and if you make the effort to stay in touch with the friends you'll leave behind I'm sure you won't have much trouble settling in. Staying in Waco:Keep my friends, possibly know what's gonna happen,I could still remain the strong silent type in my group, knowing for a fact that not one of my friends will hit on my gf,and not hurting thier feelings.El Paso on the other hand I don't know what's gonna happen, knowing something new, possibly knowing some of my friends might hitting on my gf,possibly not going to be the strong silent type I was,but worst of all i'll hurt thier feelings. Star-Lord
On that Mexico legalizes marijuana post I mentioned I've been to Juarez a few times and i stayed in El Paso . There isn't much to do there but drink beer, seriously that's all everyone does there. There's a bar like at every corner, The people are really nice there really friendly. There's a University also the border to go to Juarez, Mexico, a couple of clothing stores here in there. Boring really. It's OK if you're just passing by. Then again I was only visiting. I didn't stay long enough to explore the town even further. Anyways! That's my opinion and personal view which shouldn't effect your decision. You may have more reasons for doing so and i respect that. Edited August 24, 2009 by pcguytech_2005

And IIRC they may still have that delicious local ice-cream shop. I lived there for a while, and those were some of my happiest days, but I can't make a decision for you man, only you can do that. Also, GTAF/The Internet is a pretty stupid place to get life advice, no offense to it.
LanceVanceDance07
Can you outline the reason why you are possibly moving to El Paso? It's hard for me to help you with this decision because you aren't giving enough information about the situation.

That's a little personal. In other words it has something to do in a relative's will whom passed away.
geomy
Waco sucks, but I can't imagine El Paso being any better. Waco is large enough to ditch your friends locally, if that's what you're looking for.
Killer783
The reason is my grandmother passed away and in the will she left me her house.Because she took care of me when through most of my childhood. And when she needed help then I was the one who taked care of her. Also she said I was like a son to her the last time we met.Plus she was wealthy. LanceVanceDance07
If you are happy with the life you have now, then a suggestion would be to stick with living in Waco. But then again, you have a house left to you in a will. Wow, that is a tough decision. Do you have relatives in El Paso? If so, you can have them take care of the house while you are still in Waco. Just a suggestion, but this is all up to you.

Pumpkin Zone
I don't know the distance between the two places you mentioned. But if you love the girl you are with now you can always try to make it work out.
.Trooper.
Added to the above post... Friends come and go... don't let them hold you back. @ It seems your grandmother would really appreciate you going to her house... After all that's what she left you in the will... Then again she would want you to be happy as well. At the end of the day, your going to have to go with your gut feeling. Good luck with what ever happens

Runey
I honestly don't know what the hell there isn't to understand. He's asking if he should move or not. As for that, do some research on El Paso first, and then make the choice. Or ask people that live there.

beavis
I've pass through El Paso only once. Reminded me of San Diego without the beach. Girls come and go, chances are, you'll probably find someone just as good looking or even better there. Plus, you have the border just minutes away for all your illegal necessities. rubba_dukie
d..d..d..g..g..d I say you should go! Nothing wrong with cutting lose, starting a fresh. Is there the option of coming back if it doesnt go well? Anyways it could be a new chapter in your life, making you evolve as a person. No point staying in the same place all your life.
