I have tried this before and did it but I have tried it since with no luck The in-game instructions tell to press the button I have set to enter/exit a vehicle. However, if I do Niko exits the taxi. Girish Posted August 23, 2009 Share Posted August 23, 2009 Yeah, Rockstar seems to have f*cked up the key bindings in this case. The only solution is to change the Enter/Exit vehicle key to something else, ride the taxi, get to the destination and change it back again. The 'Enter' key is also the default key to select a destination when in a taxi. So, if you press 'Enter', instead of selecting the destination, Niko exits the taxi. I am right-handed and can only use my right-hand because of a disability. The reason I set "Enter" as the enter/exit vehicles was for easy access on the keyboard. That's what I was saying. I'm not sure if you've understood it. The Enter key is permanently binded to Select Destination when in a taxi. It cannot be changed. However, they allow you to bind the same Enter key to the Enter/Exit vehicle control (which a lot of people do since being used to the Enter key from previous games). As a result of this, there's a conflict when you're in a taxi. Enter/Exit vehicle has a higher priority and so, when you press Enter to select a destination, instead you end up exiting the taxi. I prefer to not use the alphabetical keys for the most used controls unless I really have to. The 'F' key would work fine if I had been using the WASD config.
