TROULESHOOTING:forum?

You didn't say:

Are you playing the game with the Original DVD in the DRive?

Are you playing a downloaded game, from?

Are you trying to play the game from a Hard Drive without the DVD using a no-cd program/crack?

Are you using a 'backup' copy or firends copy?

When posting a problem, be sure to include the following information about your computer:

Operating system (Windows users: be sure to mention if you have XP or Vista, and which Service Pack you have)

Video/Graphics card type + graphics memory

Processor

RAM (random access memory)

If you have installed mods, there is a Troubleshooting forum in the Modding sections

This may help to identify the problem.

I've Got The No Cd Crack From gamecopyworld.com

This could be your problem. Get rid of the crack and play the game from the disc.

You haven't mentioned which OS you have - XP or Vista? And which Nvidia graphic card is it?

Turn off UAC from Control Panel and try running the game in Windows 98 compatibility mode.

Right-click on gta_sa.exe > Properties > Compatibility > Set it to Windows 98 > Apply > OK.

Try deleting the Virtual Store copy of the game. It's located here: C:\Users\???\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas

The Appdata folder might be hidden.

If that doesn't help, reinstall the game.

Did the game ever work before?

Have you updated your video drivers?

Are you facing any issues with any other games?

I suggest uninstalling your video driver, use Drivers Sweeper to wipe the drivers completely off your system and then reinstall them.

yeh i am but i'm worried cause the last time i installed a driver my computer would not boot up sad.gif so i dunno

It might be a driver issue, that's why I asked you to reinstall the drivers. You have nothing to worry about even if the driver f*cks up. If you're unable to boot, you can always start the PC in safe mode and get rid of the faulty driver.

Just try what I said in my previous post and let me know if it makes any difference.

Which drivers are you using right now? The ones that are on the disc? Have you checked if there are any updates available for your video card? If yes, then I suggest you downloaded the latest drivers and install them.

If you don't use the Disc that came with YOUR laptop the hardware config will be wrong.

If you have installed New Hardware use the disc that came with the New Hardware or allow the computer to find the prober driver on the internet if connected.

If you use a setup disc from a different computer it will bug up your system, as the hardware config will be different.

Tell me exactly which Nvidia graphic card do you have? I need the model number.

Download GPU-Z from here. Run the application and it'll tell you the exact name and number of your graphic card. It'll also tell you how much VRAM you have. Post that info here or just post a screenshot of the application.

There seems to be some kind of a driver issue. Go here: Option 2: Automatically find drivers for my NVIDIA products.

Use 'Option 2: Automatically find drivers for my NVIDIA products.' and it will find the drivers appropriate for your graphic card. Install those drivers and check again.
