Does Rockstar ever check their Support Tickets?

I've sent a query about deleting my Rockstar Social Club account, and it's been past the 72 hour response time mark. Heck it's been a week now. I've tried calling them, and the guy said he can't handle my request and told me to go to the Rockstar Support which is what I have been doing? So I've sent in another ticket, and still no replies.

 

Is Rockstar support always this bad?

Considering the huge fan base, they might be getting a hell lot of support queries. That might be the reason why it's taking so much time. Also, if they have outsourced their customer support, then there are some real lazy f*cks out there handling your queries.

There's no excuse for poor support whether they're busy or have their support outsourced, the blame still falls square in the lap of R* and it's pretty sad that they don't seem to care. It took them over a week (8 days) to reply to a question I had way back when the first patch came out and I was disgusted with their apathy towards their customers. And their reply was a really a question which I never answered because I had already fixed the problem myself and I knew damn well it would take another week for them to reply back if I wished to communicate with them.

 

Rockstar is simply terrible in the support department, customer relations and keeping their community/customers up to date on what they're doing. Simply pathetic. icon13.gif

Agreed.I've sent them atleast 5 mails and never received a reply.

You should actually be blaming the 11 year olds who find it funny to send hate mails with lots of swear words in it with Caps Lock turned on. That's also one of the prime reasons why genuine emails might get ignored. If you actually bother to send them an email, make sure that you put in an appropriate title and describe your problem in detail with proper grammar and punctuation. It might help in getting Rockstar's attention. I'm pretty sure that most of the emails that are ignored are just poorly constructed. If you are not amongst such people, then I guess you're just unlucky. Keep trying though; they won't be ignoring you forever.
