severed Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 (edited) My personal favs are the Stunt Park(1.5) by Odie and also the REAL GTA3 Mod which features tons of stuff from new cars/textures/guns to Odies Statue of Liberty, a few small ramp jumps and a really cool bridge connecting the hideout/savepoint in SSV to the airport. i also use the LithJoe Trainer 3.5 I also have a staircase to Donald Loves roof, improved handling on the dodo with longer wings, and a "ski" jump that connects to Odies stunt park and launches you into the air way over on SSV by the underground tunnel you cant enter. Its not a well built bridge though it does give you good speed and air time, i kind of wish i knew how to mod so i could fix it up! lol at least it even jumps you back allowing you to go either way, from SSV to portland or vice versa Ive been looking for some other good mods though, and i see many are no longer around. I used to have a mod that built a bridge up to the observatory, that was pretty cool but i cant find it. most of the other mods ive found in past few days are pretty lame. oh and i used to have a mod allowing you to enter the football stadium in GTA3 too but i havent seen that one around either also whats the best sites these days? i found a few good ones but most links are down and im not really into these sky citys or "speed bridges" that lead to nowhere im thinkin i might have to start modding Vice City as never did before but i tried one mod the other day (i think it was another one of Odies stunt parks for VC) but i couldnt get it to work Edited August 22, 2009 by severed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

severed Posted August 22, 2009 Author Share Posted August 22, 2009 (edited) the Unfinished Business mod looks incredible! too bad its been around for months with no updates or downloads im downloading the 2010 mod and will install on a fresh install of gta3 because the xbox mod wouldnt load any of my saves it is a great mod and i would like to keep it but it sucks i cant load up my saves. at least i have 2 seperate installs (one for my REALGTA3 + some other mods, and the other i like to keep with no mods) ill let you know what i think of 2010 after i play it some. XXI Inc Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 (edited) If you want to play the Xbox mod and LC2010 mod with your old saved games, then replace main.scm in data folder with the original main.scm Edit: Replacing the main.scm with the original on a already modded game will only work with the mods I said above. severed Posted August 22, 2009 Author Share Posted August 22, 2009 (edited) thanks so much for that great piece of info! im gonna reinstall the xbox mod now also, i installed the 2010 mod (twice!) but it locked my system up. first time i copied all the files over and clicked start new game, it had to convert to my video card or whatever and at 100% my whole system froze. so i shutdown and started back up, tried to run it again to see if it had to convert but same thing(at least this time though i was able to ctrl+alt+delete my way out) so i deleted everything and reinstalled a fresh gta3. ran the game and converted the textures normally, everything was fine. copied the files again and everything was locked (couldnt even ctrl+alt+del) only thing i got to see were the skins and they looked pretty sick! lol EDIT: yea im not worried about the unfinished business saves cuz theres supposed to be whole new missions so i suspected that oh well, its nice to know i can load up my saves with the xbox mod Edited August 22, 2009 by severed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

severed Posted August 22, 2009 Author Share Posted August 22, 2009 (edited) Notice that you can log-in at GTAGarage with your GTAF username. hahaha that is very cool as i hate signups but its nice to beable to vote and share comments on things ive downloaded... im not too worried about the LC2010 right now though, but maybe if unfinished business doesnt get released soon i will do that! do you know if its possible to change the location of the games save folder? i know its the my documents/gta3 userfiles by default, but since i run 2 copies it would be nice to have the saves in there respective folders... especially for when i get the unfinished business mod ill probably setup a 3rd folder for that game Edited August 22, 2009 by severed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

severed Posted August 23, 2009 Author Share Posted August 23, 2009 hey XXI Inc i just noticed that replacing the main.scm removes the additional shops available for purchase in the xbox mod no more purchasing cars(no biggie) but i was looking to find out what the new save locations were... im still going to keep the xbox testures as they are so im not worried about it, i would rather keep my old game saves for now anyway. just curious though, what are some of the other purchases new to the xbox mod???
