33stradale Posted August 23, 2009 Share Posted August 23, 2009 i like gangs, there's lots of benifits to being a "gangster"... not the stupid ones who go around stabbing people who don't live in their neighbourhood. the productive ones who offer services for jacked up prices and have their own ceremonies and time-tested procedure, like the yakuza - hell their sh*t even attracts tourists! in fact there should be a more varied range of gangs, not just music preference or ethnicity-based, but like serious things that grown ups can join, a specific culture can be enriched or even comeout of gang based behaviour; they look out for each other (and don't block your phone number if they owe you a little money!) which is something you don't expect to get when you join a yoga club Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Anyone can do that. I know of a twentysomething-year-old bloke that's not in a gang and has picked up his underage 'girlfriend' from school in his car and had her shag other blokes for money; all he does/did is get her to fall for him, once she's sexually active threaten to tell her family what a slut she is (for want of a better word) if she doesn't go through with certain stuff and act the loving boyfriend after she's done whatever he's got her to do and then subtley get her to do it again. The funny thing is the suggestion about Rockstar and GTA franchise, without gangs, we'd Still have the mob and police corruption, and people who feed off their fellow man making crime and fighting crime necessary, however, in the Utopia of Heaven, perhaps, there would be no concept of GTA at all. I say if you come from the Ghetto or Inner City and can brave the danger and get out and better yourself, situation and people around you, MORE POWER TO YOU! I like when you see the City communities getting upset finally with the Take Back Our Streets and block parties. Here we just had another near rape attack on a college student at night, not a gang in this case, but it's pretty sad we have to live paranoid and afraid!
