tpw1314 Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 somebody help me!! i buy gta4 about 2days ago...and this gta4 got 3 DVD disc,is tat right or something??it cost RM40(riiggit malaysia)about USD$10 when i run the installer setup,it comes up [Your disk are enough space to instal it,please free up some space and try to run it again] My Local disk E got 153GB free space!! How comes enough space?? But my Local disk C only got 7.53GB...is that any problem?? Or the disc is fake??? but when i load my DVD3 there got RGSC and xlive installer and more, and i still can install it... I just cannot run the GTA4 installer setup , and when i try to extract the data1.cap , it show a error Somebody help me please!!! nightwalker83 Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 These are the minimum requirements to run the game: Minimum Hardware Requirements: Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 1.8Ghz, AMD Athlon X2 64 2.4Ghz Memory: 1.5GB Free Hard Drive Space: 16GB Video Card: 256MB NVidia 7900 / 256MB ATI X1900 DirectX 9 compatible Stereo Sound Card Keyboard Mouse So if you are installing the the "c:\" drive you don't have enough space! Chevyboy Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 It wont let you select a target to install before the error for "not enough disk space" comes up? I find this hard to believe. If by some longshot what you say is true (again I find it hard to believe as no program I have ever installed has given the error before it let you choose a destination) than the best solution would be to clear enough space on the C: temporarily so you could proceed and install it on your E: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Dreddpool Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 (edited) i buy gta4 about 2days ago...and this gta4 got 3 DVD disc,is tat right or something??it cost RM40(riiggit malaysia)about USD$10 with this statement I would have to say that it is FAKE as the Real game comes on 2 DVD disc's not 3, well at least the Australian version came on 2 DVD's. look on the dvd and find the RGSC folder dose it have anything in it, or is it missing altogether. go to the actually GTAIV folder on the first disc and run the setup in there as the auto run will install the RGSC and GFWL before it installs the actual game files. Hope that helps. try buy a copy online from US or other places and c if it has the right number of disc's. the bin the 3 disc version and use the proper game. PS as you payed $10 US then it's defenantly a FAKE give it back to him and ask for refund. then report him to police for copyright infringment. Methinks you have an illegal copy of the game if its on 3 disks. No matter where you buy it, it will be on 2 disks regardless. If its on 3 or 4 disks, its likely copied, and possibly copied to single layer disks hence the less space and more disks. The first disk (Disk 1) is 7.03GB, meaning mine is obviously Dual Layer. I don't think you can really blame him if he can't get hold of the original game where he is, or if he didn't know he was buying a pirated version. Idk where your "Uncle" got this, but its pirated and this site doesn't support pirated copies of any game. EB Games is a rip off but this was a last minute decision to buy the game and I was in the city buying books for my studies anyway. Where did you get it for $30.00?
