1. the cops shoot out the vans tires and the van crashes

 

The rest of the Lost bikers got away with Johnny...

 

Cops: This is the LCPD..!! get out with your hands on your head..!!

 

(moment of silence)

 

As they got in closer to look, the van suddenly explode into a huge fireball in the sky wiping out almost every cops near it. A few moments later, one cop was still alive and realizes the van was empty from the start, it was a decoy. From the distance, Johnny made his final move by sniping the last cop and rode off to the sunset with the other Lost members while Niko and the others were in another van heading out to:

 

1. Alderney

2. Algonquin

3. Bohan

4. Broker

5. Dukes

They head to the airport and dump the van in the long stay car park. Niko then leads them to the train station, and they take a train to Huntington.

Niko instructs everyone to split up, taking taxis in separate directions, making sure to change taxis three times to lose any potential tails.

 

Niko finds himself down by firefly island's bowling alley. He takes a stroll down the boardwalk.

As he passes the pier he hears a voice call after him. He turns round seeing a woman rushing towards him. Instictively he reaches into his jacket, his hand and actions hidden from the woman.

"Niko!" She called again. "It is you!"

Niko stares and after a minute nods, pointing.

"Mrs Faustin. It's good to see you."

"Yes." She replies in her russian accent. "But i am afraid that i have a problem. Can we go somewhere and talk?"

 

Niko takes Ilyena to the 69th street cafe. They sit at a table at the far end, Niko electing to sit facing the doors.

"What is wrong?" Niko asks.

"I made a bad choice. A mother will do anything to protect her daughter."

Niko frowned. "What have you done?"

"After you warned off her last boyfriend, she got depressed. She wouldn't talk to me. Then she got erratic, disappearing for days. I hired a private detective, and found out she's seeing some criminal." Niko could see the emotion on Ilyena's face.

"Continue." He said.

"I found one of Mikhail's contacts. A thug. A killer. I sent him to..."

Niko held up a hand. "I understand."

"But now the man is demanding more money! Saying if i don't pay, he'll go to the police."

"Blackmail." Niko said.

Ilyena nodded. "Can you help me?"

"It's the least i could do." Niko said, holding Ilyena's hand.

"Do what you have to do." She said, her face serious. "But i can't afford to pay you. Since Mikhail died, things have been hard..."

"Don't worry about it." Niko said. "I will help you."

Ilyena nodded but asked: "Why do you do this for me?"

"Because," Niko said, "You are one of the only people who saw good in me."

The two share a friendly embrace and Niko turns to leave.

 

1 - When Ilyena calls out if Niko knew anything about her husband's death.

2 - When a quartet or russian thugs storm the diner, shouting for Ilyena to come with them.

3 - Niko leaves the diner and begins to track down the criminal boyfriend. He decides a cop car will help in locating him.

He checks and sees that there is a cop car parked outside the cop station, just up the road from the Russian clothes shop. With no cops on duty outside, Niko jacks the cruiser and pulls away quickly towards a quiet area in East Hook, where he can check out details on the cop computer. As he is scrolling through the data base, there is a tap on the window of the cop car. A familiar beaming face is looking at him:

 

Brucie: "Yo, yo, yo! Nikaaay! Wanna go somewhere for a drink bro'?"

Niko: "Er, um, hi Brucie! Actually I'm doing some research for a friend."

Brucie: "What? In a cop car? That must be some research!"

Niko: "Well it's a very special favour. I owe my friend heavily."

Brucie: "You must be able to have just one drink. I mean, you owe me too bro'"

Niko: "OK. Just one drink then!"

 

Niko parks up the cop car in an empty warehouse nearby, and they drive off in Brucie's Comet.

 

Four hours later, and they are reeling around outside Comrades Bar, with Niko trying to remember what it was he had been doing. Brucie is out for the count, next to his Comet in the car park. Niko, p*ssed as a newt, jacks a Faggio parked nearby, and phut phuts off to where he just remembered he had left the cop car. Unfortunately, he is spotted by two doughnut eating cops who tail him in their car. He hears the familiar words: "Pull over now! I'm not f*ckin' kiddin' asshole!" As he is looking behind him to see if the cops are catching him up (in his dreams that they don't), he hits a black Schafter head on and goes flying over the bonnet. He blearily looks up to see Faustin's wayward daughter, and a mean looking heavy get out of the car and peer down at him.

 

 

1. The cops catch up with Niko and haul him into the cop car.

2. The mean looking guy pulls a Desert Eagle out of his jacket and aims it at Niko.

3. Faustin's daughter gives Niko a kick in the ribs.

4. Brucie has come round and drunkedly tries to help Niko by kicking the cops in the butt.

The mean looking guy pulls a Desert Eagle out of his jacket and aims it at Niko.

 

All of a sudden, just as niko, stumbling to his feet, goes for his gun, the police shout out.

"Drop the gun!"

The man turns and fires at the cops, taking them out, but not before one radios for help. Niko aims his gun at the man and fires, but the shot hits a warehouse window. The man turns, and niko fires again.

Again he misses.

Faustin's daughter screams and runs for cover. The man turns and fires at Niko.

Niko scrambles and crawls behind some cover - ironically another faggio. HE knocks it over and uses it as cover, firing blindly over the top.

The man laughs and slowly begins to approach Niko.

Knowing he stands no chance in a gunfight while Intoxicated, Niko lifts the faggio to it's wheels and kicks it over.

The man stumbles back, dodgeing the moped, but falls into Niko's trap.

Niko charges at the man, stumbling at the last minute and almost misses.

But the man, surprised, tries to shoot, turning into nikos drunken lunge. Both men fall. Niko slaps out, sending the man's gun into a drain.

The man, dazed and winded takes a moment getting up, but it's one that Niko doesn't waste. He runs.

The man chases, across the street, past the gas station, behind Brucie's apartment, and through the tunnel beneath the bridge.

As they near the cafe to the north of the docks, Niko begins to feel himself sober. But the man is catching up.

No matter, Niko thinks to himself, I've got an idea.

The chase ends up at the bus stop beneath the freeway. A bus pulls out and niko fires at it. Fortunately, the traffic reacts how niko wants. The bus skids, hits another car, and nearby drivers freak out. tires screech, horns honk, and people run.

 

1 - Niko ducks behind the bus, and ambushes the man.

2 - Niko's logic, now slightly sober, returns. He realises he has a gun. He drops to a crouch, turns and aims at the man's head...

3 - Cops quickly turn up and Niko finds himself targeted by a rapid response unit.

4 - Two cars appear. Men in dark jackets step out, holding MAcs and Glocks. Niko quickly realizes this man's got backup.

5 - The man, having apparently got a new gun, or a backup, shoots Niko's leg. Niko falls down.

Niko's logic, now slightly sober, returns. He realises he has a gun. He drops to a crouch, turns and aims at the man's head. BAM! The man drops to the ground on his back, his jacket slightly opens. Niko spots a name tag. He picks it up. He reads it out loud, it says...

 

1. Garage Mechanic Tim Jones

2. Officer Jim Johnson

3. Doctor Charlie Suzuki

4. Taxi Driver Michael Gomez

1 - Garage Mechanic Tim Jones. Niko flips through the man's wallet and finds a business card.

 

       Brucie's Executive Autos.            Blingin' yo' sh1t outTim Jones.             482-555-0179

 

Just then, Niko's cell rings.

"Nickeey." It was a lethargic sounding Brucie. "Where you at bro? I need to get home but i cant barely see...."

"Don't worry. I'll be there soon. Something came up. But... I'll explain later."

Nikos hangs up and calls Roman, who picks him up, then brucie and takes them both to Brucies home

 

 

1 - Outside, Niko invites himself in, where he breaks the news about Jones to Brucie

2 - Niko decides to keep Tim Jones' murdering a secret.

3 - Brucie asks Niko to pick his mechanic Tim up and take him to meet Stevie, to pick up a car.

4 - Two men are waiting inside Brucie's apartment. Brucie stares at one of them and mutters... "M M Mori?"

The man responds, "Baby brother!"

5 - A FIB Buffalo is sat outside his apartment, and two men are waiting by the door.
