Honestly, how many heliports are in this damn game? The place is littered with them. 2 Helicopters only? That is blasphemy! There are more un-flyable planes in this game than flyable heli's. That's 4 types of helicopters, and the Annihilator is practically a better looking hunter (well I guess that comes down to opinion) without the rockets. The hunter is an AH 64 Apache - a full on attack helicopter. While i'd like to see the Hunter return, i dont think it will. hopefully in V it may I'd like to see the dodo return in TBOGT, along with the lifting of the airport wanted level (a mission where you go to airport to fly GT's plane around, perhaps giving someone a tour, or something maybe? Hell even replace the helitours with a mission where u give tours in the plane...) If the hunter returned, so would the rhino i think and they'd both be out of place in IV... See, I was thinking the same thing about the Annihilator being pretty much the Hunter. I was thinking, did the TC completely forget about the Annihilator? Then I remembered that the Hunter did have both chain guns and rockets, while the Annihilator I believe has one or the other. It's been so long since I bothered with the Annihilator that I really can't remember. And Prototype was just awful. Don't get me started on that eyesore/bore fest. Super nukes, Helicopters are overpowered in Lost and damned, They must fire nukes. 100% full fire automatic grenade bullets just aren't enough(It has the same fire rate as GTA4, except they blow up like grenades and RPG's? its fun to play around with but not including it in freemode is bollocks! CryptReaperDorian Posted August 22, 2009 Share Posted August 22, 2009 Yeah, if TLAD had an Annihilator that could shoot explosive bullets (you'll be able to shoot 600 rounds per 1:05), why can't we have a Hunter that shoots rockets a lot slower? To make up for that slower rate of fire for the explosives the Hunter also has a chaingun. I remember in GTA SA that the Hunter, along with the Rhino and Hydra, was the best vehicle in the game. I swear to god by GTA6, we are going to be sitting in traffic, going to have to get a job, our character is going to be slow and fat and you have to eat and fill up your car with petrol while keeping your wife happy. Hey, rockstar, if you want realism why don't you look around? you got ultra realism whenever you want it! videogames are meant to be FUN! thats why people play games. I dont see why the didnt add a military base, because if there was a person going round killing loads of cops then im pretty sure they would declare martial law in the city and call in the army. I dont know why rockstar decided to dumb down there game so much from the standards left by san andreas, But lets face it crystal meth is a growing problem in this world, and i think Sam n Dan have just overdone it a bit the last few years. I was just exspecting them to follow the trend they had set through 10 years of game development, every new incarnation of GTA got better and better with new stuff to do and always managed to wow you. Back in the day i never had to say GTA twice with my mates to play it. now with IV i actually have to beg them to come on and we not talking about us dedicated fans these are you average joe gamers who wouldnt have thought twice to play a bit more GTA back in the day. This tends to suggest to me that rockstar have gone very wrong somewhere. I look at what the modders are doing with the PC version, flyable planes, incar view, Fun cheats, all of this does not seem out of place with a GTA title then i look at the console version and just think what the hell were they thinking its possible to do it they just didnt bother to put it in. I so wish i was in there board room when they were finnaly putting the finishing touches to this game because i would have fired the whole lot of them for having a serious creativity failure, and started work on a new GTA witch was as fun or even more fun than San andreas, that way it would have prevented half the fan base being alienated by the new GTA like many were. I love the GTA franchise and have followed it through its lifetime, i just want to see it return to its former glory. im just hanging around here in the hope that my preaching will get to someone near the top of the food chain and they can do something about it. It's pretty obvious that you're only a dedicated fan of the GTA III era. And R* didn't do anything wrong, they aimed on doing something different. Much like the Resident Evil series, when they went from Zombies to a different breed of biohazards. If they follow the same trend, it would've been more of the same. But thing about back in the day, is that it's only back in the day. This is now. Truth be told, R* North doesn't listen to what the fans want all the time, they just do what they want to do, and put what they want to put in their games, and we feed off of it every chance we get. They put side activities to what fits the protagonist and what fits the story. You add a lot of ridiculous things to it, and it wouldn't be any better than Saints Row. That's pretty stupid of you to say that you'll fire almost everybody in R*, because they still do it better. Overall, they're not gonna change anything for IV.
