Pumpkin Zone
Well, I've experienced a lot of pain. Due to many surgeries, I don't feel like explaining them all but I'll retell one scenario. Â Â I have a spinal disability, don't feel like explaining that either. Basically I was getting a procedure done where they were taking out one of my ribs to place into my spine to keep it upright. Â They were placing a tube in my side to drain blood or something, and while switching my anesthesia wore off. I awoke to my entire side opened, and well.. obviously I passed out from the pain. Â It sucked.
Cyraxx
Probably the migraines I endured all throughout my childhood. I'm not talking your general headache. These where literally skull splitting, and a lot of the time headache tablets couldn't get rid of them. Among the blinding pain in my head which caused dizziness, nausea and pretty much crippled me. I also had vomit induced by it as well. These migraines would crop up out of nowhere for no apparaent reason whatsoever and a lot of the time meant I couldn't go someplace as a child. It was pretty rough. I feel you on that, I still get migraines to this day every now and then and they're f*cking horrible. They hurt to the point I had to take Panadol (Aspirin w/e you wanna call it) and like you, they don't go away and I have to try my best to fall asleep and not vomit. Â When I was born my nosed got pushed up a bit, it's not noticeable unless you get a torch and look up my nose, but I had an operation for it 2 years ago where they shaved the cartilage in my sinus and it sucked major. I woke up dazed with big ass splints up my nose and blood came pouring out for like 5 minutes. On the way out I could barely walk straight and was dizzy as hell and puked blood in this bag I had because they shoved a camera down my throat and in my sinus. I couldn't blow my nose for about a week and if I did it would be agonizing and blood would pour out for a couple of minutes. This was some of the worst pain I've ever experienced. Â Thankfully the operation has made my migraines less frequent and I can breathe out of my nose better.
Clem Fandango
Everyone does, But we honestly don't care about them. We wanna hear about bones breaking. Kimd41
I stepped over a nail. First hours doesn't really hurt, you can walk on it almost normally. Some hours later it hurts like f*ck, you can't even walk.
iDon
Running and hitting my foot on the cough (it swelled up and I could barely curl it up, and if I it, it would hurt). Might not sound like it doesn't hurt, but I swear I nearly broke my toe, lulz. Hell, I couldn't even walk on the damn thing (well, I could, but barely). It also hurt when my sister slammed the door on my toe, accidently. Edited August 26, 2009 by iDon
Saggy
Had to lift a 200 pound steel pipe that'd been out all day in 100 degree weather and fell on a road worker's leg when the banding holding them in place snapped, and had to hold it up long enough for him to get out from underneath it. Didn't really give me bad burns, but it was f*cking hot and heavy, and it burned my hands and forearms. Â Dude had me over for steak and a beer later, though. He didn't even get his leg broke, because the mud was so soft underneath it just impacted it in and pinned it on harder dirt below. He's convinced I saved him from dying of exposure, though, because when I found him no one even knew he'd been stuck down there for a few hours. I think he would have been fine though, even in the heat. QUOTE (K^2) ...not only is it legal for you to go around with a concealed penis, it requires absolutely no registration! Algonquin Assassin
I've never had a broken bone, but I had my eye operated on when I was younger. Â I guess the worst pain I've experienced is smashing my knee into a fence when I tried to jump over it, and getting hit in the balls. I seriously feel like throwing up whenever I get hit in the balls. Wost feeling ever.
asimov
@Demonking & Tripmills, have you guys actually got cluster headaches? I know a guy at work who gets them and says they by a wide margin the most painful things he's ever experienced. Â As for me I don't really think I've had anything super intense. I've nuted myself on a skateboard to the point of tearing my ballsack, that was high up there on the pain scale.

Ilūvatar
the time when me and my mates were in the middle of nowhere on this bleak, undisturbed hill with a discreet stream flowing in a narrow gorge before subsiding into a waterfall. We were walking down it, drinking energy drinks as slowly and casually as we could, talking about who banged who last weekend and always trying to avoid the rocks and boulders that evaded the dirt-covered track. So as you could of guessed we got a little bored and stopped by a hollow (really a cave I suppose) and started throwing rocks to see how bigger of a splash we could make in the ironically undisturbed stream. My favourite mate and I sort of trailed off from the rest, seeking something/where of importance, but we didn't realise we were in the line of fire of the rocks. You can probably guess what happened next.
Xeon
 Clinical depression is only for the weak and insecure(INB4SOMEONEWHOHADDEPRESSION) But can one truly help being weak and insecure? It's not like you can decide to suddenly be strong and secure about yourself. Weakness and insecurity contribute to depression, but never is a person like that out of choice. It's the external factors that lead to weakness and insecurity such as upbringing, bullying etc. that cause depression. If you were in that position I really doubt you'd be mocking it. Emotional pain can be much more severe and damaging than a broken bone.
Clem Fandango
Clinical depression is only for the weak and insecure(INB4SOMEONEWHOHADDEPRESSION) Simply saying "in before someone who has experienced the things I'm belittling" isn't going to stop people from calling you out on insensitive, and quite frankly, ignorant things you say. It would be like making an assertion and saying "inb4asking4proof". Â As was already stated, it's not like you can simply choose to get up in the morning one day and "feel good about yourself" and be strong. That's simply ludicrous. People can't just shrug of severe and lingering feelings of rejection and inadequacy as though it were nothing at all - how do you think that works? If you feel bad about yourself, there isn't much you can do. Â I've been through it myself, and I can tell you, it's much worse than a broken bone. Who do you know that's ever tried to kill themselves to avoid the pain of a broken bone? No one, but plenty of people figure suicide to be their best option living with depression is so bad. Â Just take it back, man.
Donut136
When i was 13 me and a friend were screwing around with bb guns, normally we took them out to the common to shoot drugged up wasters other by an abbandened house but we were fighting each over that day and my glasses were shot and i couldnt see, so i took them off and the next pellet went straight to my eye lucky and i mean lucky it had just missed the pupil.  i couldnt open my left eye for 6 weeks it was so painful and i couldnt use my right eye that well either because i was putting to much strain onto it  so i was pretty much blind for 6 weeks and i have a scratch that is just to side of the pupil (need eye dye to see it) that has lowered the vision by id say about 10 to 20% and it tends to hurt every now and then which i used to need prescribed eye pain relief drops it was that bad
Panz
Also I've almost drowned twice now. And why not being painful as such, it was pretty painful knowing I was going to drown and not do anything about it. That happened to me when I was little. I was pretending to fish while sitting on the edge of my pool with a noodle thing, and I fell in. Luckily, my mom was outside. She saved my life. It's probably one of the scariest things that's ever happened to me.
Daint
Â toothache is really a bitch. a few weeks ago, i couldnt sleep for 5 minutes without waking up in pain. i took 3 painkillers in like 1 hour and washed my teeth 5 times. i didnt slept at all. I had similar problems a few weeks ago, had 2 teeth out, bottom one healed fine but the top one got infected, and it felt like i was being kicked in the face constantly for about a week, even whilst dosed up to the eyeballs on painkillers. In the end, I ended up pulling a lump of gauze the size of a pea out of my gum, which I had been told my by dentist was infected tissue that would dissipate on its own. f*ck the NHS. Â edit @ Carnage: Man, that's a dick thing to say, I myself suffer from bipolar disorder and I can tell you that depression is one of the most crippling things I have ever encountered, so although we might want to hear about the cool ass broken bones and gory cuts stories, that doesn't mean it's okay to belittle people who suffer from emotional pain. ptiko
I think the most painful thing that happened to me was when I delivered papers 5 years ago. I was riding up a steep hill on my bmx, and the freewheel at the back broke, my leg went flying forward and I smashed my knee on the handlebar.  Doesn't seem that bad, I actually went really dizzy and threw up loads  Also, there was a time someone threw a angle grinder blade at my face, The ones that cut stone/concrete. That hurt
SHXC
Well I dont make much of the pain you go through in everday. No I'm not some 'ardnut but I tend to stay away from things that are going to put pain on me. Â I had this sort of.. 'virus' I guess in my body when I was a tad younger. Went to bed normal, and woke up and could move my leg. If I tried, a f*cking sharp pain shot through it. So I stayed in bed only getting up to piss for about a week. After it died down, I went to bed again, and it went to my arm . Again, and then to my neck. Dont know what it was, but f*ck having that again. agent17
Ever once in a while (like two or three times a month) I get severe pain in my left shoulder. Almost like someone stabbing me with a knife, digging under my collar bone, then sending an electrical shock through my body. Â I've turned around and kicked/punched the air behind me because I believed someone stabbed me, although this was purely out of reflex. Â It is a horrible experience, and the pain can be very severe at times. I have no idea what causes it.
kevin2006rhs
Kinda split between two bike accidents and a fight that I lost as a child: Â 1. I stole my sisters bike off of her, I was a 11 year old dick of a brother. Anyways, I was riding away from her as fast as I could, down hill, down our back ally. I wasn't looking and I sank the front tire of that 15" inch bike in to a sewer drain. Â I flew over the handle bars doing about 15-20mph. I landed face first on the asphalt. The damage: Â -broke my nose and ripped the cartilage up the center. (4 stitches) -broke my eye socket at the forehead and from the eyesocket to the temple. (plate and4 screws) -put my front teeth through my top and bottom lips. (16 stitches) -broke my two front teeth again (previously broken in bike accident) -split my chin open (8 stitches) -wicked road rash on my chest, neck, and arms. -missing nipples as a result of wicked road rash. They grew back. Â 2. When I was about 10 years old I was riding home from the corner store a few blocks down the road, no handed, with two 2 liter bottles of Coca-Cola in each arm. Kinda drifted too far to the right and clipped the mirror of a parked car. I fell off the bike going fairly slow but the way I fell off was the problem. I slid down the side of the bike and caught my sack/scrotum/coinpursed open on the pedal. Â I had to get four stiches where my sack meets my left inner thigh. Worst part, aside from the pain, was the doctor fixing me. He was a flamboyantly gay and kept on saying "ok, I am gonna touch the family jewles here..." before he moved my junk to put a stitch in. Â 3. Got into a fight with a 13 year old when I was 11 years old (before accident #1) and lost miserably. Mid-asskicking, I fell landing chin first on the kids knee. Bad part was that my tongue was hanging out of my mouth. Â I bit a hole clear through my tongue with my two front teeth. To this day, I still have the scar on my tongue that lines up perfectly with my two front teeth. Â They all sucked pretty bad but all for different reasons. I mean its a split between massive facial trauma, extreme private part trauma, and a quarter sized hole being bit through my tongue almost leaving me short half a tongue. Over all pain, I would say my face bing smashed in by 3rd Street, New Brighton, Pennsylvania.

CaptainKon
I have a genetically high pain tolerance, so it takes a lot to hurt me i guess. I guess the worst pain I've felt was when my appendix ruptured and I spent 72 hours waiting to go to the doctors office thinking it was food poisoning. It felt like getting repeatedly stabbed with a knife covered in flame and that the flame leaked inside me for each stab. I finally went to the ER and calmly complained of stomach pain, rated 10 of 10 on a scale of pain. Of course it was unbelievable that my appendix was ruptured because I was only a kid at the time and full grown men were on the floor screaming in pain when their appendix ruptured. Of course, a day more and I would have died from the poison circulating throughout my body but after the first 24 hours I got used to most of the pain and the flaming knives turned into mild punches to the gut. The doctors couldn't get enough of poking my stomach though and that was a fun time to have your appendix burst. Of course I hadn't eaten in 2 or so days so I was starving and thirsty, and the best part was I couldn't eat or drink anything 8 hours before the surgery. So I was stuck watching late night TV while they ran numerous tests and took blood samples and attached IV's which later made my veins swell so it kept having to be moved. What was greater was the hospital pajamas had no crotch so my cock was popping out all over the place.
