Chain Reaction

ive done multiple attempts to get this achievement, but i still havnt got it..

 

parked over 10 vehicles in a gasstation and blew up the ones in the middle.. they all exploded within 3 seconds

 

any clue why i dont get it?

I think that you don't have to blow them all by one explosion. It must be like there explodes one car, from it will explode another car etc. etc.

I get that achievment absolutely randomly when my car starts burning on highway

I got the achievement by driving to time square, get my car to burn,and then park my car in the middle of a driving-lane. Then it explodes, gets the other one to explode, and so on....

Easiest way imo is to get a Bus from Star Junction and then going here. Block off the road and wait for vehicles to pile up, shouldnt take too long. then, when theres more than enough vehicles blocked, throw a grenade under the bus (making sure it rolls under the bus and into the vehicles (maybe throw a few) and just wait. This may take several attempts, but I got it on my first attempt.

 

Failing this, just go mental with an RPG around Star Junction.

Used any cheats before attempting to get the achievement? It's pretty easy to get, actually. Go to youtube and type "chain reaction achievement" there should be plenty of videos that might give you ideas to try again, maybe you're just doing something wrong...

there is a parking lot on the S. Side of alderney-- just east of the building where you do deal breaker on Multiplayer-- there is always about 20 cars parked there in nice neat rows-- you can move some around to make them closer (they are close together so shouldn't move back when you turn your back) and a few rockets should get you the achievement/trophy.

 

I did mine by parking 2 busses blocking the road in star junction and waited a few minutes for the traffic jam to build up... got on top of something to get a better line of sight and fired a few rockets.

yes i did use cheats regulary but theres no cheat that says ''chain reaction'' blocked, but ill try jamming the traffic.

I still can't get it too... If you just throw grenades or use the RPG or cheats annulate the achievement... I'm using the Alderney State Correctional Facility parking lot, that spawns I think, almost 20 cars... I run throwing grenades at them but, nothing works

 

I'll try to shoot them a little and make that Chain Reaction... That... Well, that's the achievement o.o

Easiest way is to put a couple extra vehicles into the Bike dealership, push them all into a corner and throw a grenade

That's how I always do it too. Only takes 1 shot from RPG or grenade like he said.
