It all comes from the PS3 owners who were rational enough to accept they weren't getting the 2 episodes that Microsoft secured but still delusional enough to automatically assume that they'd have access to 3, 4 and 5 without anything to back it up. When "The Ballad of Gay Tony" launches we'll be nearly 18 months into the life of GTA IV. I'm sure Rockstar is ready to move onto another full game. Also, they obviously liked getting $50 million for Microsoft but after "TBoGT" they will have fulfulled their end of the deal and they should be free to release aother $60 game that they can sell on both consoles. I'm not expecting anything just speculating into the possibility of it. If a third DLC comes out I would think it to be a multiplatform thing. Securing 2 episodes and making a 3rd episode are two totally different situations. The Microsoft deal doesn't suggest or imply a 3rd DLC in any way whatsoever. After these two episodes they've given Microsoft everything they owe them and there's nothing stopping them from making a full game for everyone. It's also possible that Rockstar could get into the decorative soap business. There's no point in speculating over a bunch of stuff that makes no sense when there's no evidence to back it up. Or a more than 50% fail rate. and a nice warranty free of charge. So its a minor inconvenience if it does fail but you have your PS3 to play for 2 weeks(You also get a free month of Xbox Live afterwards). Besides the new Xbox 360's almost never fail, its just all the old ones still in circulation that are failing at the moment. The failure rate will drop soon. It's because people seem to forget the freaking install feature which makes it impossible to overheat and RROD Was it you that said that in the other thread!? Because it's BS, you know. Have you ever heard the expression "you can't have your cake and eat it too?" Rockstar can't take Microsoft's money in exchange for screwing Sony (let's be honest, that's what they did and I don't blame them) and then turn around and give Sony the content. Again, Rockstar took Microsoft's money in exchange for screwing Sony. They crunched the numbers and determined that 360 sales a huge chunk of cash from Microsoft was more profitable than 360 sales plus PS3 sales. Why is that so hard to understand? Maybe the exclusivity will lapse, who is to say that Microsoft didn't say "here's $50 million that says you keep this content off of Sony systems for 10 years?" It's funny, you guys all said it was a 6-month exclusive and 6 months came and 6 months went, with no sign of the exclusivity period lapsing. Ultimately Rockstar has 50 million reasons why you shouldn't be expecting this content to ever grace your PS3. I know that's a tough pill for some people to swallow but ultimately all a PS3 owner can do is: A: suck it up and buy a 360 B: fill their pockets up full of wishes tell me which one has you playing these episodes first. Besides, the PS3's price has dropped and there is a Slim PS3 coming out soon, so sales are bound to increase for Sony. Now, I am certain that at the time of this "exclusivity deal" between R*/T2 and Microsoft, R* had no clue that Sony would lower the price of their PS3 and release a Slim version of it. You fail to realize that Microsoft does not make the games, R* does. Microsoft just makes the console in which that game is on. I am well aware of the 50 million dollars as well, so please stop crying about it and saying it all the time. In the end, R* makes the decisions for R* and if they want to put the DLC's on the PS3 at a later time, then they can. Don't speak as if you actually and personally read the contractual agreement between the 2 parties. This could possibly happen if R* sees sales growing within Sony, so they are going to want in on that growth as well, whether it's in the near future or the distant future.
