GuruAskew
Possible hint from Rockstar? So Bahama Mamas is one of the clubs seen in the BOGT trailer as we all know by now, notice the quote I found on some other forum: I noticed a huge strip club called Bahama Mamas with a sign on the side that says "Grand opening soon for all" Its located west of Star Junction and east of the pay and spray in Purgatory. On top of more clothing and the missing fingerless gloves, what else do you think R* will give us? I didn't check if this sign really exists but if it's there I think it's a strong hint that the DLC will be released for both PS3 and PC in the (near?) future. You honestly think a little bit of decoration has some sort of hint that flies in the face of a $50 million deal? Seriously? Maybe, JUST MAYBE the sign is in reference to a story point in which the club is closed and then re-opens... FOR ALL... of the fake people in Liberty City. Call me crazy. jamtomorrow
Anyone getting deja vu here? You have to accept that an exclusive is an exclusive. And just maybe you have to accept that if GTA is your favourite game, then you backed the wrong horse if you got PS3.

Lunatic Brandon
No it won't. Buy and Xbox and give it a rest. I'm getting a PS3 for some exclusives soon. Exclusives are a part of the game industry and it will always be like that, deal with it or get a new hobby. If there were no exclusives think of the cost of video games. With no competition prices would skyrocket and gaming would be far too expensive for most people. This isn't really to the OP but to all the people saying they think it will be on the PS3. GuruAskew
Also, with "Agent" I think it's within the realm of possibility it could be out on 360 at some point. THAT is the kind of game that pops up on another console 6-12 months down the road because there is no huge headline-worthy deal keeping it on the PS3, just some run-of-the-mill deal not worth reporting. That said, until there's some actual evidence to suggest that that's all I will say on the subject. I'd be interested in playing "Agent" but not to the point where I'll be making a mountain out of a molehill every time I spin some trivial piece of nothingness into "evidence" in my own delusional mind. For the time being it's a PS3 exclusive and even without a $50 million deal that could be a VERY LONG "time being" and I accepted that long ago. I might wait and see of a 360 version surfaces, I might even spring for a PS3 slim if the reviews are good enough, I will NOT post the same old wishful thinking sh*t that flies in the face of things like facts, common sense etc. Ultimately I think 360 owners will prove that it's not a "tables are turned" situation because there's a definite streak of denial and delusion among PS3 owners in general, not just when it comes to GTA. Sony was on top of their game for two full generations and the few people who supported them blindly into the current gen don't like the fact that things are different this time around. It's nice to think that the console you spent good money on is going to deliver the games you want but c'mon guys, it's not. You're not getting "The Lost and Damned". You're not getting "The Ballad of Gay Tony". Not unless you buy the other console, and the longer you cling to this pathetic nonsense the longer you're going without playing something we're either already playing (TLaD) or will be playing in less than 60 days (TBoGT). I just dropped $450 to play a single game ("Beatles Rock Band") and it's not as if I'm rich or anything. You can say all you want about the economy but if you can even get a job at McDonald's you can afford a 360. There's nothing stopping you from playing this content aside from stupid fanboy bias. dre120v
Just be patient PS3 friends, believe me there will be a GTA IV Gold Edition or Perfect collection for both PC, PS3 and XBOX 360. Snake Without a Tongue
I'm a PS3 owner, the DLC looks great, and very little of GTA stays exclusive for long, but I'm not hurting for it. I feel bad for PC gamers. The console wars have hit them the hardest. Curse this unjust war!

SovietWarrior42
If I was a PS3 owner, I'd be ecstatic that I have Agent as an exclusive. That game sounds amazing. If I can scrounge up $300 or whatever it is for an 80 gig, I'd get one.

Honestly pretty much every 'exclusive' game by 3rd party developer has lost that exclusivity in one form or another...I'm not holding out for IV DLCs on PS3 but something just keeps telling me that it's gonna happen...one day...hopefully...but probably not... Also @SovietWarrior42 How can agent sound amazing when all we know about it is it's title and that it's set during the cold war? Slamman
I bought my PS3 first, like a sane gamer would, you Xbox ONLY people paid too much, end of story right there, however, MS is also steadfast in stating the two episodes are intended for Xbox and those were incentive enough for me to obtain my own Xb360, but I now know they both are excellent and capable machines. This does not mean the only DLC to come down the pike. Sam Houser again, stated he plans long support for the GTA 4 game, at the time prior to it's release, there was talk of what expansion to the new gen series would mean, and up to now, I think even Rockstar North had un-forseen ideas that were and are possible on the franchise and current consoles. > Somebody bumped this, I remember this thread. Trooper? It won't be on PS3, it will be on PSP, there's a big difference. Rockstar North are the developers of the main game and DLC, while Rockstar Toronto of Canada are the Gameboy programmers doing portable fare for the Take 2 company, so PSP and DS qualify in their field of operations. CTW on DS is coming to PSP, this we know. Edited September 2, 2009 by Slamman

CTW on DS is coming to PSP, this we know. But we now know TBoGT is almost certainly the last DLC. Here's a quote from Dan Houser in a recent USA Today interview: Suddenly you're lifting up train cars with helicopters and it looks amazing and ridiculous, and after what you've gone through in the past, you're like, 'wow, this is a really good payoff for completing this journey.' There were also many instances of this DLC being called the "final chapter" of GTA IV. Even the title of the article, "Grand Theft Auto IV journey will end with a bang," suggests that this is indeed the final DLC. 1.5 years of support is pretty good for a game, though. Or a more than 50% fail rate. and a nice warranty free of charge. So its a minor inconvenience if it does fail but you have your PS3 to play for 2 weeks(You also get a free month of Xbox Live afterwards). Besides the new Xbox 360's almost never fail, its just all the old ones still in circulation that are failing at the moment. The failure rate will drop soon. GuruAskew
Hey Rockstar! Its your loss, I guess some upfront cash by Microsoft means more than all the revenue potential from a un-hacked systems user base. At least you understand the situation. They literally chose between taking money from PS3 and 360 owners alike vs. taking money from Microsoft and their owners alone. Some people have a hard time understanding that. I think there is a huge emphasis on "THIS JOURNEY" in that statement, as in the Impossible Trinity involving Niko, Johnny, Luis and the diamonds is over. Continuing the story may still be possible. I think people are in for disappointment if they expect any further DLC episodes. It all comes from the PS3 owners who were rational enough to accept they weren't getting the 2 episodes that Microsoft secured but still delusional enough to automatically assume that they'd have access to 3, 4 and 5 without anything to back it up. When "The Ballad of Gay Tony" launches we'll be nearly 18 months into the life of GTA IV. I'm sure Rockstar is ready to move onto another full game. Also, they obviously liked getting $50 million for Microsoft but after "TBoGT" they will have fulfulled their end of the deal and they should be free to release aother $60 game that they can sell on both consoles.
