Ballad of Gay Tony PS3/PC Possible proof?

guys ,its sure that this DLC will come out for ps3 since it got out for the Xbox 360... its impossible to the story to continue for the ps3 users on GTA IV  if there isn't going to be any DLC ... and also when you look at the picture that the topic maker posted ,on the one of the tv's you can see Ashley from Tlad if im right...anyway...you'll see ,the DLC is coming for the ps3

Thanks, No I couldn't see it that well, a lot of people were waiting to play on the PS3.

 

Beaterator was there to play but nobody was checking it out.

 

When I went outside I heard the Grand Theft Auto IV Theme music, awesome.

For those who truly want to experience "The Lost and Damned" and "The Ballad of Gay Tony" on their native system (Ps3 or PC) I completely relate. It's not about who owes who or what Sony users got in the last generation, it's about the full on gaming experience and as long as GTA IV is available for all three systems, so should the DLC's.

 

It would be like releasing a movie in North America, Europe and Australia, and then releasing a spin-off only in North America. Wouldn't the Europeans and Australian's want to know what's going on? I mean when you're playing as PC user, what the hell relevance does Johnny or Luis have on you? Nothing, because their stories don't exist outside those missions. And as a Ps3 user the "Impossible Trinity" Trophy has no purpose or meaning whatsoever.

 

We can only hope that if there is some sort of timed exclusivity for the DLC's that at least "Episodes from Liberty City" can come out as just a brand new title for the Ps3 and PC library without having to sell itself as "the DLC's that are no longer Xbox exclusives".

Yeah but using your analogy, you have realize that sometimes North American produciton will buy the exclusive rights to a movie spin-off.

 

I don't under stand what you mean by the PS3 being a native system? I mean the PC obviously is because the game was developed using PC's but PS3 is a blu-ray based device.

 

Anyway, I was always under the impression that the DLCs would be release a while later for the other platforms.

The reason for the hope is the fact no one ever tells the truth when it comes to business. Right now Microsoft are lying, Rockstar are lying and I bet Sony tell a few tales themselves. As a PC gamer I have seen it ALL before time and time again. I remember this article :-

I have no doubt the DLC will appear on the PC and I don't think there is any reason to doubt that it will appear on the PS3 at some point. However the xbox 360 fanboys have to have their comfort blanket.

Not really, I think Howard Stringer would suck Bill Gates' cock for both DLC's. They're clearly losing money from this, I know of several PS3 owners who sold their PS3's for an Xbox just because of TLAD & BoGT.

 

All in all, if it was up to me, PS3, Xbox 360 & PC would have the DLC.

I'm pretty sure I remember that was confirmed to be a fake long ago, in April '08. Rockstar never denied there being a PC version, and I kept telling EVERYONE there would be a PC version (and I was right ).

So Bahama Mamas is one of the clubs seen in the BOGT trailer as we all know by now, notice the quote I found on some other forum:

 

 

I noticed a huge strip club called Bahama Mamas with a sign on the side that says "Grand opening soon for all" Its located west of Star Junction and east of the pay and spray in Purgatory. On top of more clothing and the missing fingerless gloves, what else do you think R* will give us?

 

I didn't check if this sign really exists but if it's there I think it's a strong hint that the DLC will be released for both PS3 and PC in the (near?) future.
