The Best Eminem album

For me, his earlier albums are by far the best work he has produced, and as time went on, he realised that he could rap about anything and get paid for it, so his work started to get sh*t. Look at 'Puke' and 'Smack That', which are some of my most hated songs ever. His early work was about the truth, about his life and how he grew up, and this is how I actually got to know about him, through his lyrics.

 

Encore was a decent album though, and had some good tracks on it.

 

I currently have Relapse on my MP3, giving it a fair few listens through before I actually make my mind up about whether I like it or not. Also, is it only me, or does he seem to have acquired a new 'accent' on Relapse?

He aquired that accent in Encore. In fact, he uses it a lot more in Encore than he does in Relapse.

 

It doesn't really bother me though. His lyrics are still intense.

Oh, I never noticed it that much in Encore, but it seems to be really strong, and it put me off the album at first, but now it doesn't bother me.

Yeah, I was thinking about downloading some older Eminem stuff, so I checked back to this topic to find out what his old group was called, then I came across that and sort of forgot how many pages back it was while responding.

He was f*cked up on a lot of sh*t, but nothing difficult to come by, and I'm sure there's a way he could get it for free. At any rate, emcees make all their money touring, so albums aren't typically used as get rich quick scheems.
