Kozak Posted August 20, 2009 Share Posted August 20, 2009 (edited) Ok, my sh*tty rig is in my sig, the game runs pretty well, I mean it's playable and stuff, but this stuff has been annoying me since I bought it, I was hoping that with a couple of patches and new drivers it would go away, but I was wrong so far, so I'm asking for advice/help in here. If you don't get what you see, I'll make a small summary, the shadows go crazy on buildings, and textures go crazy if you're a few feet away from the ped/car/whatever. I can play pretty well ya. Dude, I have no clue, all I know, is that I can play without yelling all around my home because it lags alot or something. I've got the latest drivers. The weird 'rasters' on highpolystuff like car grills, stair cases and sometimes lantern poles, they flicker with every movement! I don't know what it is, lack of AA, Z-fighting or what, but this is exactly what I have. My hardware is in my signature (I have ATi Catalyst 9.8 aswell), come on, I have a E8400 @ 3.6GHz and a HD4870 512MB, play on 1680 x 1050 with everything maxed except view/detail distance, and I bench 50fps, what is causing this?
