ManWithRedHair Posted August 20, 2009 Share Posted August 20, 2009 Right, Im having this REALLY annoying bug on the xbox where i get to the part on revengers tradgedy where you have to chase after dimitri in the boat,when little jacob comes and i have to get underneath his heli i get there as fast as i can but i cant get underneath in time and he flies off,this is seriosly annoying as a completed the hole game again to complete it with the deal ending Any ideas? XD so here's the deal the reasons why you can't get on him on time (even if dimitri got off far enough or you got late riding the speedboat) is because it's the patch or way you are taking, remember, when you turn right while following dimitri, and then head straight to the bridge, there will be 2 piece of ROCKS sitting there, one small and the other one a little bigger, now the thing is, if you planned to go around THOSE 2 crappy rocks it will reduce your SPEED and cost you TURN TIME, and by that time further away from that rocks maybe nearly going under the bridge, jacob will appear... with reduced speed and time, there's a VERY VERY large gap between you and Jacob's plane if that one happens then you won't reach jacob the 2nd one is because of the crappy vehicle R* provided, but it's just half their fault, if you can drive a car straight more than 200km/h in GTA it's not so easy driving a boat at that speed, since that the waves make the boat go wobbly and go airborne (mostly 2 - 3 feet depends on your speed) if that one happens, and the boat goes back down, friction against the water will occur and it will once again reduce your speed for you to get to jacob is find a way you'll gain momentum and STABLE HIGH SPEED, this is the only way you can get to jacob on time, and also make sure you don't do much of the flying boat stuff coz it will really slow you down or cause your boat to flip i was able to make it to jacob by going in between the rocks, i was holding SHIFT (to force the bow to dive rather than CTRL that would make it fly) and gained enough momentum so i can make it to jacob Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
