wpstudart
I'm a trophy hunter, I always like to get trophies, but the multiplayer ones are very tough to play with some guys, they just do things that usually take 10 seconds, they do it in 2 minutes Anyway, I want to get the Fly the Co-Op trophy, that you need to do 'Bomb da Base II', 'Hangman's Noose' and 'Deal Breaker' in Rockstar time, that is: Hangman's Noose: 2:32 Deal Breaker: 7:04 Bomb da Base: 5:56 Videos with strategy to make very quick those three: This is it, anyone up to do this? Spuds725
Add me-- I've helped tons of people... PSN: Spuds725-- Need deejay^ or some other good players (gtaking, superjude) to knock it out fast though... I've actually started a new PSN id and have been trying to get fly the co-op with randoms (just for the challenge)--- big pain... noose was easy.... BDB is a pain because of the drop bug and the griefers that this mode seems to attract... I did manage to get in a match and we set both bombs at 4:40--- and the 3rd player wouldn't jump off the ship-- I couldn't believe it.... they stayed till the bombs went off and we missed time by 6 seconds... Haven't really tried dealbreaker yet... is tough without mics. CryptReaperDorian
Hey deejay and Spuds, add my PSN CReaperDorian. Next time I get online I want to get this trophy. I know the strategy pretty much for BDBII, but the quickest I ever got with my friend was about 8 minutes (it was only me and him and I'm sure you need four people for this one). I know about the glitch to get to the bottom deck of the ship and dropping somebody off at the top of the ship.

I know about the glitch to get to the bottom deck of the ship and dropping somebody off at the top of the ship. I've got the time with 2 player... 3 and 4 player is just for insurance in case the upper guy gets killed.... you can stop the van faster usually with 4 player as well. The way I do this is I crash land the heli up top (most of the time )-- the upper guy (if only one) should definitely run to the back off the bridge and down a level and get the body armor there on the right side of the ship before taking out the bridge guys-- you should kill at least 2 of the bridge guys, 3 is better-- before setting the bomb... once you hit the marker for setting the bomb, they can't kill you til after it is set.... the other guy, should jump down to the main deck and glitch in... SJ pointed out and it seems to work most times that if you stand to the left of the #12, near that vertical girder-- pause for a second before jumping, you will get in almost every time in one jump. I'll try to get on a bit today-- I work the next 3 nights 7pm to 7am-- so won't be on much if at all til friday... I may be on for an hour or so on Wed and Thur at about 8-10 pm GMT (I"m GMT -4 hours).... If I'm on today it will be before 7 pm GMT (I'm going to be taking a nap til I have to go in to work) Hope you have a mic... makes things alot easier. I have a Bluetooth and I don't have high speed so I have to get to my friend's house some time. To plant the top bomb I only really have to kill like three or four people. I don't really like people crashing helicopters though (even though it's faster) as when I ditch I usually end up missing the ship, ending up on a lower deck, or getting stuck laying on the ground for like 5 seconds. If you are a really good pilot though it probably wouldn't matter if you crash the helicopter. The reason I say four people is because of stopping the truck quicker. One thing I hate though is that when somebody drives the truck and I'm right by it they take off before I can even get in. I'm sure it usually helps if every player is in one vehicle. Which would be quicker? Having four people to stop the truck faster or having two and not waiting four the other players to get in a vehicle? aFinn
With 4 people on BDBII it's faster if only one person goes and takes the truck and rest stay in Rebla and drive to rendez-vous point in it with truck following. There is no need for everyone to be in same vehicle. Changing 4 people to truck takes too long, and there are usually police around too to mess things up. ChristopherD
I wish we had just ONE Co-Op thread where people could make requests for help, share strategies and stories, etc. I coulda sworn there WAS one...started by Spuds, I think? But when I posted (above) for this guy to repost in MP forum, I looked all over for it and couldn't find it! Also, wasn't there a "MP Forum Guide" that linked to all the major posts for specific subjects that got 'stickied'? Maybe I got it confused with the urban guide. You're right though...kinda a shame that the same 12 thread subjects get reposted every 14 days or so...makes for a boring forum for the regs... Spuds725
The thread I started before was my dealbreaker guide that kind of evolved into discussing strategies for both BDB and dealbreaker--- link is in my sig.... we have changed our strategy quite a bit for dealbreaker-- I really need to update that guide... Ditto on only one person grabbing the van.... slows everything down if everyone moves to the van. What we normally do is whoever grabs the van, I ask how their health is, if they need it then I will drive the rebla past the health at the way point near the barrels and drive to the back near the water... there is another health on top of the container-- if you drive next to it, it will health everyone up... then I backup to the marker... I can usually do this before the van gets back as the rebla is alot faster and handles better.... if the van driver does not need the health, then grab the one as you approach the waypoint. I'm sure we could start a thread in the Multiplayer events section for scheduling co-op times and/or discussing strategies... Yo you should have kicked him out unless there wasn't enough votes to kick him. In BDB, on PS3, you can't kick (or quit) without everyone getting booted out of the game and back to single player-- doesn't matter when-- if we would have kicked him, we would have got dropped and not gotten the time... you simply cannot kick in BDB without getting dropped after reaching the ship. I posted a couple of vids on youtube showing how I crashland.... This was in BDB II-- a public match I entered just to record the vid, unfortunately we had a person quit the game so the PS3 BDB Bug kicked us right after I landed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xV2lYP7l0i0 This shows the same landing but was in free mode-- After the landing, I showed how I jump down to the main deck and head to the glitch spot.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuHePM8dUx8 the key is NOT to jump out of the heli until it is down... if I bounce off, I will circle around and land from the East side as there is more room over there.... do not jump out or you will likely land in the water... SuperJude™
Ditton on BDB heli landing, if I overshoot (which I rarely do, I think I'm as good at that crash landing as anybody) I also prefer to just circle and land on the front of the same platform. MrJohn, I relapsed. Twas a time I got to experience being a mod or admin at various sites then decided they were universally evil entities I've altered my Dealbreaker strategy, now landing up top and ideally taking out 6-8 guys on the ground before working my way down. I do tend to play mainly with randoms in DB which is how I've met some really good players but the random factor involves a learning curve with every new group of players. I do tend to guess if somebody else is going for the chopper in which case I'll drive but I mainly feel comfortable flying unless I'm with Spuds, deejay, GTAking, people I know understand how to fly in that mission. Spuds725
me and deejay knocked out 3 peoples co-op trophy earlier-- got the time first time for each one. Still got a few people on my list to do. Deejay has tried a new strategy that works out pretty good to save time at the end of deal breaker.. As long as 3 cars spawn when you start... me and the other player(s) get in the outside car. Deejay grabs one car and moves it near the garage doors inside so they both stay open... then gets in the other car and continues as normal-- he says it cost him about 6 seconds to do that... At the end, the doors will still be open and you can crashland the heli into the garage to end the mission faster.... he came in high the first time and we missed.... worked great the second time... he came in hot an it ended the mission very fast. Also, I discovered something for BDB that might help some people... this is not speed strategy but for runs where everything breaks down and you just want to end the mission faster... if you glitch into the lower hold, everything is invisible down there... you normally kill yourself to exit but if you are on your last life, or need to get back up top to set the upper bomb, you normally have to "feel" your way up the stairs to the ships kitchen and outside before you can go back inside and have the walls re-appear inside... I found that if you leave the hold and jump through the doorway on the lower level, turn around and go back through the doorway into the hold, the interiors will all load and you can see your way back out... some of the bad guys may still be invisible though.... so be aware of this... //edit// Sorry for the double post... didn't realize I had the most recent one.... Omega
Spuds725, I will add you later for that. But what is your time zone and when do you play? Spuds725
I'm eastern too in the US.. (I live in Ohio)-- however I am currently GMT -4 (we are on daylight savings time). If you aren't on DST, and are GMT -5, that would be 1 am for me I am sometimes on after midnight, but pretty rare-- there is a shot I will be on that late tonight. One problem with that late is that I rarely see Deejay or Superjude on that late--- Haven't seen GTAking on at all lately... and these guys are the ones that typically help me out. I can still help you out, just don't expect to be able to get it in one run-- I might be able to find someone else on willing to help. Hopefully you are decent at these-- fast with headshots and more importantly, have a mic/headset.... If you can get on about 9 pm tonight, you will have a shot at deejay being on... I should be on about then (after I put my kids to bed)... without a mic, with deejay or one of the others in game, we should be able to knock out each in 1 run. I am typically on 9 pm to 11 or 12 PM EDT (1 am til 3 or 4 am GMT)--- however am on other times periodically--- just depends... Spuds725
I impressed myself last night, got dealbreaker for someone in a 2 player game, he had a mic but didn't want to use it since his girlfriend was sleeping-- only took us 3 runs (first run was a mess-- he misunderstood my message), 2nd run he missed the boat with the rocket and I didn't have one--missed the driver with my rifle, 3rd run he got it with the rocket and we got it with pretty good time of 6:13-- that is at least one of my top 10 times-- building was clear at about 4:15 Spuds' GTA V 100% Checklist // My IV & Vice City Videos "I want to design a video game where you take care of all the people shot in all the other video games.... SuperJude™
Bit of BDB bragging here: Started a random game and ended up with 2 guys who had mics. They were doing stupid things like using multiple cars, getting out of the car when we reached the armored truch, landing the helicopter near the boat after taking a long, high route. First time both die so we fail. Second time it took me yelling "get off the f*cking BOAT" for the one guy alive to get off the boat. I kept trying to tell them they were doing it wrong. They decided to grief and insult me the third game, which they f*cked up by both dying 3 times before they even got the truck (DON'T SHOOT AT THE COPS, I told them). So the 4th game we have a little fight and I tell them fine, just wait by the chopper, I'll do the rest myself. Just get in the chopper once it lands, I'll do everything myself. 1 guy, took me 6:50 and ONLY because I got the far spawn to start with. Neither had anything to say to me before quitting other than the one guy I could hear saying "Damn..." before he left.

PM me here and on PSN when you think you might be on tomorrow (thursday) and I'll try to work you in... I will be out of the house from about 1 pm til 3pm but other then that, I will be around the house with my kids... I just saw you were on about 2 hours ago, sorry I was playing on my other ID-- I checked in at 9 pm on my usual ID-- no one was on, then switched to my new one and played on that for 3 hours. You can add me on that ID if you want: GTAF_Spuds725-- I'm a rank 5 on this one. I finally got co-op on that one-- been trying to get all three with randoms-- after I got deal breaker we worked on the other two for him-- missed BDB by 2 seconds-- he had no mic-- I set both bombs and he didn't get off the boat in time.
