Abel.
Bees are alright in my book. They're not one to sting without good reason so as long as you don't piss them off they'll leave you alone, plus bumble bees are cute. Wasps on the other hand...I agree. They often require no provocation to sting you and will almost definitely go for you if you annoy them. Killing them can be fun though, once when I was chopping up veg with a fairly chunky kitchen knife one wouldn't f*ck off so I took a swipe at it. Cut the thing in two. Muahaha. I called it justice for one crawling up my shorts and stinging me about 2 cm from the family jewels. The bastards. Ninja Mark, defending us from wasps . One climbed up the back of my shirt and stung me as a kid. I had no idea what it was until I pulled the bugger of my back. Worse still, I actually managed to fall on one of the buggers playing football at school. About four years ago, one of the younger, more timid kids asked me politely to fetch his football from the hedge, being that there were stinging nettles on the ground surrounding it and he was afraid to get hurt, I kindly obliged. Just as the football's in my grasp, a wasp stung me right on my cheek, I heard the "buzz", but I barely saw the thing. Obviously, being almost unaware of the wasp's presence, I shouted "Bollocks!" upon being stung and almost tripped up backwards. This shocked the poor kid before I could return his football to him, pretty funny, though. By the way, bees are absolutely fine, they do very little wrong and without them we'd lose a very important method of pollination. They look rather cool and non-harmful, too (unlike their irritating counterparts). Panz: What's equally annoying is that they don't die after stinging you, unlike bees, that die noble martyrs for their queen. sananoutlaw
There was a guy I went to school with who was stung & his entire face swole up, it was fu*kin funny. Noone laughed at him directly cos he was upset about it, but it was the funniest sight i'd seen that year. I don't have a problem with bees or wasps, they don't tend to bother with me. Whenever I've been stung it's never really swollen, sure, it always hurts for a bit but never swells. Perhaps some have more immunity to the stings than others. Additionally, bee stings apparently lower the risk of arthritis. Sadly, I have yet to be stung by a bee, just the thinner bastards known formally as wasps. mark-2007
Been stung a couple times when I was younger, not all that bad really. There's not too many up north, but I used to go down to the south of England every summer and there was loads of wasps. Just swat them with something. Bees are harmless, and make honey, which makes 'em alright in my eyes.
LanceVanceDance07
Hardly saw any wasps this summer, saw a number of bees. They don't bother me that much, as long as I leave them alone, they'll leave me alone.
Killer783
For me bee's,wasps,or hornets don't mess with me as long as im wearing my bee camo heh yeah right they will sting but just imagine.Anyways for me those little wasps will be good for pranks.Just put a whole bunch of them in a jar then shake it so they could get pissed off. Then when a person you hate calls you a douch bag shake up the jar get far enough to break the glass near his feet and watch the fun begin.bee grenade!!! Gundog
I don't have bee or wasp problems here. We've got hornets. They're big, nasty asshats. Although I like bees. They're awesome animals, and they don't attack until provoked, and the sad part is that if a bee stings you, it'll die, because it's sting is attached to it's intestines, and it'll pull them out during the sting. Wasps are meddling little f*cks. Whenever you have food or liquid on you, they'll swarm to get some, and usually killing one means provoking others. And Hornets are f*cking mean, they attack for no reason, can be deadly to allergic people, but they kill and eat wasps, which is a good thing. Shaunr
we get a lot of bees. we have a pretty big yard, with woods, and today i was out in them and i think i just avoided a nest in the ground, because i just happened to be looking down and saw a few bees next to each other. i also made a bee trap a few months ago with a 2 liter bottle with the neck turned upside down and sugar and honey inside and i looked at it a couple days ago and it was about a quarter of the way full with bees. But the last time i was stung was when i was squirting one with a squirt gun. I was like 9. i didn't cry though.

SaintJimmy
There was a wasps nest in my backyard about a month ago. I whipped out this spray thing that shoots like a water pistol and took the f*cker down. ...was good fun.
asimov
We often drink in my mates shed, which routinely get's attacked by these f*cking massive hornets. They are around 3 inches long. There must be a nest nearby, because we've killed over 100 of them and they keep coming back. They take a good blast of Mortein and few blows from a tennis racket before they go down. I tell you, there's nothing scarier than having a hornet fly right past your ear and start investigating you when the only door out is closed and blocked off by a lawnmower. CryptReaperDorian
Wasps and hornets are my biggest fears. I freak out a bit from bees also but not as much as wasps/hornets as they don't attack unprovoked and they are a little cute. I've never been stung yet by a bees, wasp, or hornet so I'm a bit lucky. Where I live we get the paper wasps (black actually) and yellow-black striped ones that are a bit larger (those may be hornets I'm guessing). I get scared sh*tless when they get in my house and I vacuum them up to get rid of them. The black-yellow striped wasps seem to get like 1.5-2" long, but like last week there was one in my house that was like 3" long. I heard it buzzing on the window so I got the vacuum and waited for it to come out the shades. When it came out I f*cking literally frozed and trembled with fear since that f*cker was big and was the scariest piece of sh*t I've ever seen. I put the two vacuum hose connectors on the vacuum and got it thankfully, didn't want to get sting by that thing.

I usually won't touch one and spray the little f*ckers with an air freshener.

Clem Fandango
I don't care about them in the slightest. I could walk through a place covered with all kinds of Apoidea without being scared; I know there's virtually no chance of being stung if I leave them alone, and avoiding a sting isn't worth any drastic measures. Chronic buzzing and can be quite unsettling when you're that close.

TEoS
Clifton... are the nicest places I've ever been to. Boosh, my hometown right there. I am the biggest coward in the world when it comes to bees. I will run and scream like a little girl if one comes within 10 yards of me. I've only ever been stung once. It happened while I was taking a piss in the restroom where I worked. One landed on my neck and stung me, so I grabbed him and flung it into the sink across the room and drowned him. Never again will I be stung by a bee.
BigAmericanTitties
When one's in my house, I go all stealth and then crush it in a napkin. I've been stung once, and by a normal bee. There aren't too many wasps/virtually no hornets where I live (I consider myself lucky).
Carnage1120
I'm surprised nobody knows how to keep bee's away, Just get a piece of paper and let it smolder around the area so that they don't come in during outings
Hell No..
I used to get a Jam Jar still with half the amount inside, cut a hole in the lid and fill it with water just to the Jam line, and leave it outside. They fly in for the Jam and get stuck and die. Sticky business. I'm on Twitch! Are you? Come say Hi. https://www.twitch.tv/priceyryan
BigNekkidSnake
since it's summer many wasps (whatever applies to you) wake up to come and annoy you.Am I the only one here that would jump up and scream like a girl when there's one on my nose? also my mum was attacked by one, her finger was as thick as a glue stick (the thick ones) I have to avoid them at all costs, as I am severely allergic to bees. If I get stung I have to pop some Benydryl(?) to slow down the reaction and go to a hospital.... Luckly I've only been stung once ( In the tearbag part of my eye...) Of all the things to be allergic to bees is pretty f*cking lame.
Shaunr
i do cross country and today during practice (the boys and girls are in separate groups) we decided to go off the trail down a steep hill. then this one kid decides we should all go back up the hill and in a different direction than which we came down and almost all of the group goes and and they stir up a bees nest in the ground. The first thing i hear is the kid who's idea was to go back up start swearing and hopping around, then the rest of them start freaking out and i run away yelling "bees! bees! bees!" I got one in my sock somehow and it got me, felt like more than once, but only 2 out of like 16 kids didn't get stung. most people got stung more than once too, but no one died.
