xlive.dll trojan,just wondering if I should ignore

Like title says, I know a lot of keygens and sometimes cracks can be seen as Trojans or Viruses, So just ignore the warning from AVG? says Trojan Horse Generic14.YRS C:\Windows\System32\rundll32.exe

 

Ive used the same before and have ran malwarebytes before to scan other stuff and I never got a warning. I'm thinking AVG is just tripping out now with some new definitions?

Generics and definitions without descriptions are almost always false positives. Only bad thing is, that malware authors use this to distribute their stuff and AV vendors don't really react to it.

Why do you have a keygen and crack?

 

Yes many do have thingy hidden away. Use something like processor explorer and delve into the rundll32.exe program.

Coincidently, today my Avast identified the FileCheckFix as a virus too.

 

Just ignore it. I think Rockstar is working together with anti-virus companies to avoid the cheaters.

well the same as mine, but it removed it so i reinstalled xlive.dll again
