EDGE_SHOT
Allways wanted a way to go to Staunton Island earlier without using any cheat device or button cheats? well, there is a way. but i warn you: it's difficult and you will probably fail a lot until you do it right. Still interested? good! first you need to enter the "grey hell". "how?" you ask. Step 1: get a Trashmaster (you can find one near the car crusher in Harwood) and head to the ferry port. once in front of the strikers stop and turn left into the rocks. (...) EDGE_SHOT
(...) you should be in a concrete floor near the water by now. drive south counting the lamp posts at your right side. stop at the 14. you should be under the El-Train tracks by now. put the back of the Trashmaster on the edge of the ground right after the first post that supports the train tracks. get out and push the vehicle carefully into the water (not upside down). if you see two small smoke clouds on the edge of the floor you did all right. if you don't, go get another Trashmaster and try again(...) EDGE_SHOT
(...)see the two small smoke clouds? great! now go to the Bumps and Grinds track and grab the Sanchez. press "O" to quit the race and go back to the place where you left the Trashmaster. still there? good. now you need to carefuly jump with the bike into the top of it. done? now check if you have enough space on your left side to dismount the bike without falling into the water. if you have press the triangle. trust me, no fear. done? ok, welcome to grey hell (...) EDGE_SHOT
(...)now BE CAREFUL! a mistake and you will go back to the "real world". wait a few seconds until you see a train under your shoes. why you see it? because you are on top of the subway tunnel. but you can't see the tunnel because the game didn't loaded it yet. so be careful to not step outside of it or you will respawn on the street and you will have to do this all over again. so to continue you have to make the game load the tunnel. how you do that? (...)
EDGE_SHOT
(...)Step 2: now comes the worst part. select an SMG and shoot the floor. why? because if you see sparks it means that you can keep walking on that direction (bullets+ground=sparks). now try to go to the portland subway station using this method and watching where the train passes to have a clue on the tunnel direction. once you get there the loading screen will appear and then comes the funny part you will now be able to see the tunnel where you stand BUT! EDGE_SHOT
(...)some parts of the streets up there will become "un-solid" and peds (and cars) will start "raining" now, all you have to do is walk (or drive if a car falls from the sky) to north Staunton (go back to where you entered grey hell). at some point you will find a invisiable wall. don't worry, once there just jump into oblivion. really. you will respawn on Staunton. and there you have it... to go back to Portland just grab a boat or kill your self. Heihachi_73
Still, it should not be 6 posts - some sites could have temp banned you for that under spamming, even if it was not intentional. I will say though, at least you're much smarter than certain people in the Chinatown Wars sub-forum.
The Guru
Nice, but I haven't done it correctly yet. Every time I push the Thrashmaster into the water it flips over and I get only 1 smoke cloud. Any tips on how to do it. The butcher, the baker, time to meet your maker Tell you to your face, you ain't nuttin but a faker
EDGE_SHOT
Nice, but I haven't done it correctly yet. Every time I push the Thrashmaster into the water it flips over and I get only 1 smoke cloud. Any tips on how to do it. Well, i never fliped the Trashmaster so i don't know if it works that way too. try and see if it works, maybe. And i never saw only one smoke cloud too. maybe that's because you need to put the master a little closer to the train post? I just drive it carefully into there and when the back wheels are over the edge I quickly get out and let the Trashmaster fall by itself. it usually works. But keep trying... Even if just to see peds raining
The Guru
Okay. I always started pushing the Thrashmaster over the edge so I think that is why it flipped over. I'll try again tomorrow. Thanks for this. The butcher, the baker, time to meet your maker Tell you to your face, you ain't nuttin but a faker
