Nitty Don
The route is fully ready for use now Sir Swooner It will be called the "reverse prison break" all of the above points apart from we will get Teflone to airlift us from the industrial area to happiness island to take down as many heli's as we can and from there we will take the boats from happiness to the TUG spawn and then enter the prison through the main doors once in we can end the event as a sucsess or just hold the prison until the time expires. swooner
The route is fully ready for use now Sir Swooner Perfect! I think a good long shootout in the prison is much needed. From the law office to the slammer... Well done, Guv’ner! I will post a map today showing locations and notes for: "Reverse Prison Break" sometime today. Since you've mentioned playing earlier, We'll do that run first. I only ask that anyone/everyone willing to stay up try out the Perestroika run as well & see what you think. Our numbers were a bit low last week. We'll keep the room active for anyone still up for shootouts after the 2 events we can test routes or try the "Wildest police chase" idea. Spread the word to anyone up for tomorrow's bacon blasting EDIT: Main Page Updated including Maps & Info!!!! swooner
Last night highlights: Reverse prison Break: The Law Office seemed to kick our ass in game 1. We couldn’t seem to stay together from the Heli Tours >> Law Office & the window extraction was chaotic at best. Heli hunting @ Happiness was a true treat. Those things were just falling from the sky. Too bad we couldn’t get boats (no spawn) in time to make it to the Prison. I would like to give that route another go next week, but we will need to figure out how to get to the southern extraction to Happiness “safely”. Perestroika Must Die!: was better than last week. The Firefly Beach invasion was a success, Running along the rocky coast launching Molotovs all over the beach towards LCPD at night was hilarious. I was unmercifully targeted by LCPD Annihilator gunners on the Broker tracks & taken out just before making the middle track drop to the club. Upon returning from the Airport, the inside of the club was truly epic. With Russian music playing & 6 people on stage destroying LCPD walking through the flame engulfed doors, it was like some sick shooting gallery. Fire everywhere, rockets flying out the front doors. It was suddenly eerily quiet, I’m at 5 stars, and in walks a casual strolling "unarmed" Booze through the fire and debris, like some mislead club patron looking for a seat (hilarious!). I was eventually picked off coming back down from the roof before extraction at Outlook. I believe everyone was overrun & KIA (minus escort pilot) shortly after… After a 2 hour night, Tefl0ne still has his 5 stars in the air. So, after everyone else bounced, He myself & Lance went back to the club and managed to get 6 stars before the timer ran out. No extraction, but it was a good night, nevertheless. If anyone has a route in the works for next Wednesday, let me know ASAP. Typically we have about a 2.00 hour night, so we can rotate routes week to week. Next week we will try Reverse Prison Break again & either a new route or Perestroika again (I can’t get enough). Please leave feedback, thoughts on next week, and eye candy pics if any… Thanks to everyone who could make it! -swoon Edited October 2, 2009 by swooner
Booze
Some pics after all Shootout at the lawyer's office: Chaos outside the lawyer's office: "Welcome aboard Nitty Don's Boat Tours. If you look to your right, you will see an exploding helicopter." "Mmmm... I think I'm going to catch a show at Perestroika's. Wait, what's that flying through the front door? "Is that a torpedo? No... It's a cop." "This place is not what it used to be..." "Might as well join in... I'll take your coat sir! (and your life)" A less glorious moment... Tefl0ne
Äs I told in the AoD topic before I won't be the "Escort Pilot" next 16 vs. LCPD... I'm gonna join you guys down in the frontline of war!... To kill some blue uniformed bastards ... I think Timmobile is a good replacement this time... Maybe not so reliable as me , but still a good escort.... Anyone ask him?
i like coffee enemas
I'm sure he wouldn't mind doing it. Only problem is, he wouldn't mind blading a few people either!
swooner
Main Page Updated with Maps & Info!!! Tefl0ne is offering up his pilot position this week to join the ground carnage. Tim may want to take pilot escort this week, so watch your balls if you want to live. If serious griefing occurs let me know & I’ll deal with it. **I would like to try a new rule this week regarding escort pilots. One player only can be allowed to accompany the pilot escort when picking up reinforcements unless 3 KIA are waiting at the Airport to return. This will allow players a moment to grab health or armor during extreme moments. So, be extra specially nice to the pilot if you’d like to restock your pea shooters & health. Our first hour will be a replay of last week’s Reverse Prison Break (Law Office >> South Industrial Crane Site >> Happiness >> Prison). Once dropped at the Heli Tour Pads we need to all move quickly into the Law Office. Our second game will be an event we will play often this month. It’s titled: Operation Oktoberfest & features 3 Baseball Diamond Rocketball v LCPD, Truck Carnage v Outdoor Restaurant, & spooky graveyard goodness. Player that wear Zombie skins are extra cool and get a . Not sure what we will use for next week yet. Any opposition to Game 1: Perestroika Must Die! & Game 2: Prison Break (original) elements. I’d like to eventually have enough routes to cycle from week to week, meanwhile creating new ones frequently. Please leave feedback if any. Anyone not on the invite list that would like to participate please send PM. These are the routes currently in use: Prison Break, Tour De LeRay, Perestroika Must Die!, Reverse Prison Break, Operation Oktoberfest. Hope to see many tomorrow nigh… -swoon

swooner
ay can i get a jump at this Last night was real good. Thanks and a big to everyone who could make it. I recommend anyone who hasn't tried 16vLCPD to at least give it an honest attempt on some open-ended Wednesday. We are the only current active Coop Cop killing game for 360 on the forum & we put a lot of effort to keep this going. I would like to make it clear that this is not a strict gang event, but open to ALL forum members. Just send a PM or XBL message to myself on or prior to Wednesdays. We could always use some new blood in here & it's a good way to make new friends & potential allies in GTA multiplayer. Highlights: The 1st hour had very decent turnout (over 10?). We still had some casualties (TUBBS!) before reaching the Law Office, but getting 6 stars and getting to the Cranes was a success. We had some confusion during the Heli transport pickup to Happiness, but eventually made it in time for the fireworks display. I was just under the statue enjoying some sky explosions when I lost my first life to an amazing falling, blade wielding Helicopter I just couldn’t escape (trust me, I ran!). Upon returning from the Airport, Nitty & Co waited at the Prison Tug to an army of LCPD blocking the Prison gates. After another life given to the "blue man" group, I spent the last 10 minutes in the Prison with the group & ended with a nice 6 star wanted level. A little rough, but nonetheless. Second game almost didn't happen. It gets pretty late for our European players by this time, but we still ended up trying out the Graveyard scenario/route with a small party of 5 or 6. The ladder drop point didn't go all too smooth. When I hit the slide, I managed to kick 2 LCPD off the ladder on my way down (lol) and met my quick demise to many LCPD toting shotties, but not before lighting some on fire (I like my bacon crispy ). After a mass respawn back at Airport, we all quickly armed up & headed straight to the Baseball diamond, for some glorious falling Helis. The Outdoor Restaurant/ Tower shootout was also great!......until 10 min later when it was VERY still/quiet & I went to scope out the scene by the restaurant tables and out of nowhere fell a charred mechanical bird and BAM.... swooner died lmao, it totally was worth another trip back to Steinway. We took a boat to the Colony graveyard & had a blast finishing up the time putting LCPD in their graves. Always good times, & thanks again to all participants. Next week we will be using the Perestroika Must Die! & Prison Break routes. Both are very exciting & full of murderous mayhem & comical cop carnage. Hope to see many next week!!! -swooner @CubA - Unfortunately, this is currently for 360 only. There has been talk of a PSN version in the works, but nothing started just yet. @Ace - Glad you liked it, welcome aboard! You will receive an invite every Wednesday when on XBL. If you're up for some carnage, just take the invite. Simple & easy. Edited October 11, 2009 by swooner
i like coffee enemas
Man, I'm beginning to love this event more and more every time we play it. Having it out with the cops has always been one of my favourite passtimes on IV. Before I started playing online it was all I did. I stopped for a while, but thanks to mr.swooner, I've been reacquainted with an old friend - chaos! Sir, I salue you! We should make an action packed 16 vs LCPD machinima sometime. With some real time and effort put in it could look awesome!

swooner
can i be a heli pilot tomorrow?, my controller is f*cked up I don't see any problem with it. It's Tef's call. I also know Timmy & LeRay are fond of piloting. As long as you can sort it out before departing Airport, I'm fine with it. 16vLCPD tonight… Main page updated!!! Perestroika & (elements of) Prison Break. We may have a new participant tonight. So be kind to our new people, you monsters of rock! Note: Please keep anti-air rockets away from our pilot. If you see mini guns firing from a Heli, it is a friendly, keep the air space open. Thanks! If anyone would like to switch the order of the events let me know. If anyone is reading this & would like to make today’s game & added to the weekly roster for future Wednesdays, please leave a post, PM here, or message myself on live. Approx 1.5 hours until 16vLCPD -swoons Edited October 14, 2009 by swooner
i like coffee enemas
Sorry I took off last night, but my connection was playing me about. I had to be up early for a job interview though so I guess that was probably a good thing. If I had stayed online I'd probably still be in bed now, and the interviews in 45 minutes time! Nitty Don
The first run was awesome I survived for 51 mins then got blasted full in the face by a shottie wielding curly tailed hog ! totally my fault though as I was down to flashing health and decided to stand by the club entrance ......... doh ! How did round 2 go ?
swooner
Leelee, sorry about your connection. It was good fun while it lasted. Hopefully that interview will get you some extra $$$ for BoGT. Good luck, mate! I hear you, Nitty. It was just too tempting to get up an close to those burning boys in blue. I also think Booze was “done-in” somewhere inside the club entrance. I can’t believe LCPD stormed the club in such high numbers. There must have been 20 bodies on the floor. I swear these events play out different every time. With the inside club empty, that’s when I knew it was time to make the escape… Successful night! Round 1: Perestroika Must Die! (Player victory!) Perestroika finally met its demise (next time we’ll try to get 3 players with 6 stars before Outlook evac). Everything went real smooth, from the Happiness Island boat pick-ups to carrying stars to the beach invasion to getting everyone to the Firefly Station & then tracks to Perestroika. The beach chaos was hilarious as always. The club was epic as always, holding off that back alley with shotties was great. Beep kept trying to “carefully” get ammo. The back alley, stage, & roof were all “bumpin”. I believe it was Lance & myself that made the final dash to the Outlook pavilion (Lance, where were you at, roof?). Round 2: Prison Break - Crafton, TUBBS, & rickput joined for round 2 so we had about 6 or 7 & ended up running Prison Break. We started with a really good standoff at the Prison, skipped Globe Oil & went straight to hold out at the sunken Tug. Crafton & Booze grabbed boats & we headed to the Alderney Maverick spawn & then to the Holland Subway Vehicle Tunnel access. After the underground Subway stops we had our final stand @ the Crack Shack (lots of falling Helis!), which was great as always. Great night, everyone! Next week will be the Operation Oktoberfest event first (3 Baseball diamonds, Outdoor Restaurant, 2 Graveyards) for some “serene seasonal scenery”. Any suggestions for Round 2? We can either choose to run a previous route or test a new Algonquin route (LCPD Main Station >> Superstar Café >> Grotti Turismo/Perseus >> Museum >> Middle Park Bathrooms). If we do not test this we can always use it in November. Feedback/Thoughts?

swooner
Nice, lot’s of updates! Definitely looking forward to next Wednesday: @Creeber – Great! Do you plan on capturing the whole 2 hour night or just segments? We can upload segments to the forum main page. Will you be able to make it this Wed? @DBoi – Sorry I couldn’t make A/G trials, have you tested the route? I was thinking we may want to test it after Oktoberfest &/or possibly more Prison Break this Wednesday. Thoughts? @Booze – Amazing Vid of Prison Break.. or was it Reverse Break/Nitty's route? Either way, it really captured the moment! You seemed to navigate through that chaos quite nicely. Well done. I still am not certain who that 1st (ahem.. rocket?) explosion from the left came from, however. @Deathman/Flamer – Welcome aboard!! Just be on live on Wednesdays & you will receive an invite, sir. Good to have you. I’ll have the main page updated with Operation Oktoberfest info in the next day or so. swooner
[October 21, 2009] 1st Round: Operation Oktoberfest - Check main page for maps & info. If our escort pilot (with the miniguns) is engaged with another Heli, do not interfere. Try to keep rockets away from our escort. We will need to have 4 (grand slamed!) downed LCPD Helis on the baseball fields to move on, so be on the lookout for falling choppers. Halloween is 2 weeks away, you ghastly lot, so wear your Zombie skins . 2nd Round: destructoBoi420 Epic Route Test - Shottler Hospital >> Algonquin Bridge >> Abandoned Apartments >> Colony Island Escape >> Privateer Road >> Peir 45 >> Heli-Tours >> "Deal Breaker" Building >> Catwalks to Old Bridge >> Cross Old Bridge >> Honkers Strip Club >> Old Sprunk Warehouse Finale We will begin at Shottler Hospital >> Leg it or use SWAT vans to broker bus spawn & stairs >> Algonquin Bridge lower level (train level). We then jump from the bridge to a silver water tower on middle/south Colony Island where we hold the building roof tops until we move north. There is access to the roof from one fire escape on the Northwest side of the building. DBoi will need to lead us on from & to the locations from there. Looking forward to getting further into this one… 5 short hours until 16vLCPD…
