Anyone else interested, please send a message to GT: swooner including "Coop" or "16vLCPD" in the title. CURRENT EVENT: BoGT: Russian Bank Job Blip Leader: LeRay. Elite-Pilot Escort: Undecided. APC escort: Nitty Don. 10 minute arming period. Babooshkas & Vodka-Soaked Map Here 1) Liberty Bank: 15 minute six star Holdout. Everyone take their positions & be sure to use the teller booths for cover. Escape along north side of building moving one block east to the Green Dragon building in Chinatown for the next holdout. 2) The Green Dragon: Head up the construction ladder on the west side of building. Climb to very top level & continue to holdout for 10 minutes. *During this time one player will be escorted by APC to pick up a garbage truck (to be used to make jump to Hove Diner). When truck is nearing position, we parachute to street level & need to quickly move east, on the far right lane of Broker Bridge. 3) Broker Bridge: The Garbage Truck needs to be parked on Broker Bridge just overlooking the Hove Diner. When team is ready, climb front of truck & all chute from Broker Bridge scaffolding to Hove Diner street level below. 4) Hove Diner & Comrades: 10-15 minute final holdout. Either move straight to Comrades Bar or stay in Diner. Team can split up into 2 groups. Both locations are small & are within a block's distance. 5) Firefly Island If time is remaining, we will finish by leading the squiggily piggies on a foot chase throughout the amusement park until time runs out or we all fall down. ***After BOGT: Russian Bank Job, We will have a 30:00 16vLCPD Holdout (location to be decided) for anyone interesting in sticking around, etc. INTRODUCTION: Many people enjoy the Single Player game but also enjoy the experience of working together with other players in MP. This event is an organized Coop game vs. the Cops & is the only active 360 Coop-cop killing event on www.gtaforums.com. Players work together moving from one location to the next achieving the highest stars possible throughout a Liberty City "tour of destruction & chaos". Eventually there will be new scenarios/routes, blip leaders, new decisions, loads of dead LCPD, some possible new friend requests, & a breath of fresh air from normal FM, TDM. Players only need to stay together & cooperate in their collective cop killing spree. No solo carnage or Griefing. Griefers or major disruption will be kicked and banned from future events. DIRECTIONS: A route/path-based scenario, to be followed by all players, is first posted before Wednesday game nights on this event page. Players spawn @ Airport collect as many necessary weapons & armor before departure & a Blip leader is decided (usually route creator). After 10:00 minutes, 1 elite escort pilot & no more than 3 other temp pilots pick up all players & head to route drop point/start of route. The goal is to then successfully hold up 1st building or area of interest to 6 star wanted level cooperatively with team v LCPD to the end of route by possible Heli/vehicle evac or until last man standing. It's important to note that the players with highest star level are most important because they draw most attention by the LCPD, so again, everyone needs to stay together/close to the action as often as possible no solo carnage or griefing or face swooner's big "boot". Once at 6 stars or goal achieved, the group should move to the next location chosen by the predetermined/posted Route (*posted below). Players KIA will respawn @ Francis International Airport & should arm up/ pick up any other KIA & return with reinforcements to main force en route. Make every life count! News!: 16vLCPD is going gay with BoGT, so get your downloads & discs. Now routes will be packed with more firepower, building interiors, & parachute drops. *Note: Caravanning from locations with a group will take some communication as to keep the 6 star MVPs alive from the LCPD. Players are encouraged to make use of SWAT vans, ambulances, helis for RPG ammo, etc. Players can allocate weapon specialists to add more depth & a cooperative challenge. All players are allowed to decide their own weapon(s) of destruction & should stock up properly before leaving the *Airport (spawn point, so remember weapon locations for potential future spawns). swooner Posted August 19, 2009 Author Share Posted August 19, 2009 I'm on the 360, but I encourage any PSN folks to organize a time . Auto Aim on vs. cops can be pretty nice (like Ranking in Noose). Also, 6 stars is more attainable/realistic to get to. If it becomes too easy we could consider taking it off. Us PSN folks are finally starting to feel the way the 360 side used to feel at the Events forum for a while. But with you new 360ers coming up with Events, now WE are the ones saying: "Damnit! Why are all the good Events on 360?!?" lmao And I am 'Event Organized' out, so won't be me doing this. Suggestion: This scenario is so much fun, blocking 2 ends of a short & narrow inner-city street with pedestrian cars. goal: protect the "MVP" for as long as you can while waves of Liberty City's finest come from every direction wanting your blood. Awesome location: Construction Site Algonguin "Crane" If the same location gets a little boring you can try and make your way through the city to get to a evac-chopper via foot only. Carnage There are so many scenarios that you can do, count me in if it's at a respectable hour for me to make it all the best for the event! Feel free to either make a new event page or use any info posted. I would be glad to be involved in anyway I can for the PSN side. Maybe we can use both systems to get this to it's fullest potential . So far we still have less than 10 players for XBL. Once we have enough people interested, we will discuss a date and time to have a trial run. Like Ground V Air, we may do a series of 3 - 20-30 games varying weather & time of day. Anyone who has posted will receive a message when we have a date set. cutcho: Street Barricading is a fantastic idea and we could include this during the course of events (example: Museum > Star Junction Cluckin' Bell > Chinatown Street Barricade > Law Firm). We will have to collectively discuss the Auto Aim preferences as well. Since only the LCPD suffers from this, it's just a matter of difficulty/fun factor for the players. Great suggestions everyone! swooner Posted August 22, 2009 Author Share Posted August 22, 2009 (edited) Next Wednesday 9:30 GMT/ 5:30 EST we will run a trial run game for the XBOX360 side of 16vLCPD. Players will arm up/meet on Happiness Island by way of air or sea. Once ready, we will invade the mainland to The Law Firm. There we will begin... The goal: To hold an area of interest that includes some proper form of cover such as buildings, created street barricades, etc. The 6 star MVPs will decide the 16's next move. When a player is killed, arm up & join back in or help the MVPs move to the next location. When the next destination is decided, there may be setup needed (Street barricading, etc). The idea is to help the team as a whole & have cooperative fun. Screaming & whiny demands are not welcome, so please be understanding. As another possibility for upcoming game nights, we could have this checkpoint path decided/randomly picked before the games & have each scenario posted on the forum and set a time limit for victory/ defeats. Game 1 would include: morning/foggy setting, Game 2: Midday/clear, & Game 3: Midnight/rain or other weather/time variations. This will help keep the games memorable & interesting. A private message/ game invite will be sent to anyone replying on this forum. Anyone else interested, please send a message to GT: swooner including "Coop" or "16vLCPD" in the title.
