Girish
Have you purchased the game or downloaded it? Any no-cd cracks? The text can be turned on by going to Options > Display and turning on 'Subtitles'.

Spider-Vice
This is known with Realtek cards. Used to happen to me and the 1.01 patch resolved it (Also confirmed by Rockstar it does fix the audio issues in thunderstorms, cutscenes, etc.) so if you don't wanna mod your San Andreas, get patch 1.01. US version: http://www.take2games.com/support/patches/...S_1.01_COLD.zip EU Version: http://www.take2games.com/support/patches/...o_1.01_COLD.zip GER version: http://www.take2games.com/support/patches/...m_1.01_COLD.zip let your hopes and dreams turn into burning fire! Girish
Reinstall the game. I'm assuming you didn't do a full install. This time, make sure that you select the 'Radio' option too during the install (it should ask you if you select Custom install option, IIRC). After installing, the entire game size should come to about 4.74 GB. If it's less than that, then you'll know that the audio files have not been installed. And delete the gts_sa.set file from the User Files folder after that.

lil weasel
I would believe that if it worked before, along time ago. Then the drivers have upgraded and the new drivers are causing the problem. Roll back to the old ones, if possible. Old game, needs older drivers, new drivers too good.

Girish
I'm assuming you have a ripped copy of the game wherein the audio files are taken out to reduce the size of the game. Sorry, but we cannot provide you any help. GTAF does not support warez. Buy a legit copy of the game if you want it to work properly. If you have a legit copy of the game, then we'll need to see some proof; like photo of the SA box or discs alongside a paper with your GTAF username. If you can do that, feel free to create a new topic.
