truehighroller
add me too to the micro stuttering thing, damn it!! I think I figured it all out on my own. This might apply to people having this issue since this update or not. I started having bad sound issues and noticed a service for sound bouncing around a lot in services for Windows. I reinstalled my sound driver and resolved that issue. I then went ahead and ripped apart my rig here and cleaned it all out real good. I noticed when messing around with my system that my second GPU just disappeared off ATI's CCC. I went ahead and uninstalled ATI CCC and reinstalled it and vuala issue resolved. I also am getting my normal 62FPS Avg with the benchmark with, shadows at default again as well. My stuttering when flying, gone now again. I think this update f*cked up my system royally. I tested my whole system for 24hrs and it is stable. Just this update whacked everything looks like, for me any way that's a fact.
influx0
add me too to the micro stuttering thing, damn it!! Same here, I reverted back to an old version of GFWL and the micro stutter was gone. The only downside is not being able to play multiplayer.. ffs
gitrmanuk
No problem here Did the GFWL update ingame yesterday and after the game restarted it ran fine, no "micro-stutters" or noticable drop in framerate after playing for a good long while. Started the game this morning and no eroneous prompts to install the update again and no stuttering or lag. Been playing Fallout 3 and all it's DLCs for the last few weeks so maybe I missed something that caused mayhem to performance (an incremental GFWL update maybe?) Sorry for you guys with the problems...have some cookies to cheer you up

Hope I'm right I have never seen an issue like that in my time from a program but, that is what happened to me and after reinstalling those few things all the issues were gone after that and it seems a few other people had the same issue. Glad I could help every one out that was in my boat.
Lollercoaster
What is it with you people? Every time a new LIVE update gets released, you expect a patch for the game? You do realize that LIVE has many other games also? And that it is not only used for GTA IV?
