I'm sorry I've just lost my hope. After all of this , after the monthes of speculation, after the monthes of "Possible Prieview on Friday" I just can't keep hoping.

I know we have all come to the point where we were willing to kill a man with a hacksaw just to prove how much we want to see a preview but we all know It woulden't work.

So I officially give up hope. Not on the Preview, no on the game. I think this is just some sick warped joke R* is playing on all of us. I think 2 R* developers made a bet with each other that they could say they were gonna make a game about a random Dominican character in GTA4 and a gay nightclub owner and that not only would people buy It, they would go insane with speculation with only a vague title to get exited about.

 

There will be no preview in Xbox world and when on that fateful day in October when TBOGT comes out millions will nonetheless buy It. And when that game starts there will be a cutscene panning through the Hercules club and It will go to the bathroom and show Gay Tony having Sex with Brucie. And that will be It. It will fade to balck and the credits will role. And that is how R* will have fooled us all.

Personally, i think R* does this crap on purpose. They love to see their fans foam at the mouth waiting for screenshots, trailers and info regarding GTA games, only to not release anything at all and continue to laugh at us. Very soon to them means in the next few months.

From what i've seen in the past R* makes their own announcements when they want to. I can't see them announcing anything at GamesCon. They'll announce something when they feel the time is right for their product. That's practically why major new GTA's never show up at these events.

From what i've seen in the past R* makes their own announcements when they want to. I can't see them announcing anything at GamesCon. They'll announce something when they feel the time is right for their product. That's practically why major new GTA's never show up at these events.

GTA IV was first announced during Microsoft's press conference at E3 2006, though.

Yes, but R* didn't announce it, nor did they release a trailer.

Rockstar have just looked up "very soon" in an online dictionary and realised its meaning, and are now rushing to put a trailer together!
