You jump out of a skyscraper window with bad guys after you and parachute to your getaway boat 8/07 @Rockstargames, with all due respect (and that's plenty) you guys DID tweet that more details on Gay Tony were "coming soon"- BACK IN MAY 8/14 @RockstarGames You couldn't give us just one little screenshot of Ballad of Gay Tony? We've been waiting soooo long... 8/18 @Floppay Gay Tony will have a parachute in a mission, a friend got to play a short demo. Very jealous. Been replaying TLAD in anticipation I mean the mission he described about fighting in top of a skyscraper and parachuting out sounds awesome and I really hope he's not just making it up... but the fact that this guy made a post saying there would be parachutes a few weeks ago, then whined a bit about lack of info on the game, then made another post today repeating that there would be parachutes... it makes him look like some obsessive and not totally sane fanboy, and hardly trustworthy. You're the one embarrassing yourself. Parachutes, Dodos, Penis Implants. Does it matter whether or not any of these things make it into the content? Not really. If they did, you people would still complain that something was left out. Why? Because it's the American way to cry and whine until you get everything you want. Then you cry and whine some more because no one predicted what else you'd want. I hope BoGT is a simplified version of GTA I. Just to see all you internet crybabies start huffing and puffing. The Mod said shut up so shut up. ( so it doesn't seem like spam I'll say my opinion of parachutes in the game ) I would personally want them so I can jump off the Rotterdam Tower and land somewhere in Middle Park. Also your second comment wasnt even relevant to the topic, we are discussing if there's a possiblity of there being parachutes, not what you would do if they did actually implement them. There are lots of tall buildings in Algonquin, maybe Luis has to run from baddies and the only way to escape is at the roof, somehow finds a parachute along the way and does a nice base-jump to safety. So there's no confusion, I originally posted about the parachute here and the twitter account is mine. I created both my account here and my twitter account just so I could talk about BoGT, I've never really needed to use either site before now. The reason I repeated the story about the parachute in my twitter is because I saw that someone called "Floppay" on twitter was bugging IGN and Rockstar for details about BoGT, and being pretty certain they wouldn't be getting a reply (no one else had except the infamous "very soon" reply), thought my morsel of info might be interesting to them. I didn't realise floppay was also posting on this forum. I wouldn't believe me either, but let's hope this supposedly imminent trailer shows a glimpse of parachute or something to confirm it. I don't have anything to add to what I've said before because I don't know anything else besides that. I don't care if it's mission based, or a cutscene (would kind of be lame, but still), I'm just happy that they somehow got a parachute into this game.
