AnthMUFC-Champs
Prison Break The Conspiracy Prison Break: The Conspiracy is an upcoming action-adventure video game based on the Fox Network television series Prison Break that is due to be released for Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The game had been in development for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 for release in February 2009, but was canceled when The Company shut down. Development restarted when the game's developer, Zootfly, found a new publisher. The protagonist of the "Prison Break" game is Company agent Tom Paxton. He is sent to the Fox River State Penitentiary to find out why Michael Scofield (the hero of the TV series), a man without a previous criminal record, became a bank robber. The storyline runs parallel to the first season of "Prison Break": Paxton encounters several characters from the series and experiences key events from his own perspective. The action adventure "Prison Break" has all the markings of the award-winning TV series: a compelling story, distinct characters, and fast-paced action. Using diverse climbing and stealth skills, the protagonist Paxton explores numerous locations of the series, all brought to life with great attention to detail. According to Gamespot with the exception of Sarah Wayne Callies, Nearly all of the original cast will be voicing themselves. Creed Bratton
I hope this is good. I always wanted a prison themed game. Not necessarily Prison Break game, but still, good enough. Or lets hope it will be good enough.
BLTZKRG
I hope they change the graphics. The 360 could do WAY better than that.
Blackadder.
I'm kinda disappointed we don't get to play as Schofield, it would of been interesting to recreate all those carefully planned events and maybe even add some more to his background/prison time. On the bright side it's still Prison Break, I hope we get to meet T-Bag.
ass reamer
I wonder if the game's storyline will get as twisted and convoluted as the show's did. The last two seasons of that show were a chore to watch. Also, I've got a feeling this game is going to be horrible.
AnthMUFC-Champs
Prison break is amazing and in the game you plan your own escape.
jelly
I wonder if the game's storyline will get as twisted and convoluted as the show's did. The last two seasons of that show were a chore to watch. Also, I've got a feeling this game is going to be horrible. In order to drag it out as much as the show they'd have to release 5 equally stale sequels. It'll probably go the same way as most other movie/TV based games.. But the 2004 like graphics do indicate that they've focused on other things than making it shiny. (or that they're incompetent, but let's not channel negative feelings )
Creed Bratton
Those screens look like a watered down UT3 engine. I hope they improve. And I agree with Blackadder, playing as Schofield would be better. But not just Schofield, it would be cool to play as various characters in different parts of the game according to the events in the show.
arsenal_fan
They should make a video game version of Oz, i would so badly get that But this seems pretty awesome, i'll keep my eye on it.
AnthMUFC-Champs
Best program ever, best actors ever, best story ever and best thing ever on TV simply put. This game will be immense and them graphics for deep silver standard are out of this world.
Arvis
Prison Break is my favorite TV show and I really can't wait to see how this turns out, I don't really care about graphics, but I have to agree with Blackadder, it would be better to play as Michael and replay some of story episodes, but we will see how it turns out. TommyMufc-Champs
Amazing screens for an excellent programme 10/10.
XAF226
Oh God. Why must FOX whore out their shows? This looks like a MGS rip-off.
DemonKing
If they can pull it off really well (which is going to be hard), it's will be a lot of fun. But I have my doubts, how long of a game can they string from just the first season? They should've allowed you to play as multiple characters, and strung it across S1, S2 and S3 and flashbacks. That would've been pretty cool. But heck, maybe this will turn out alright. Although the graphics certainly look haggard and dated.
lloydo
Thought this would happen. I'd rather it was a prison game rather than built around a finished tv show.
d0mm2k8
Anyone who likes PB round where I live gets raped up the ass, then beaten (I have no idea why ) But I've only seen one episode and loved it Hope this turns out good
James
Personally, I can't wait till I get to play this. Loved the show, and I'm hoping I'll love the game. It's a good plot, in my opinion.
RomanViking
I really liked the television show Prison Break. It started airing a few years ago, and just recently ended quite poorly with season 4 and the painfully crappy Final Break... Too me, Prison Break was only truly great in season 1 and slightly less so season 2. A videogame adaptation of season 1 is being worked on; but you don't play as any of the characters from the show! Players will take the role of another prisoner sent by the almighty "The Company" to spy on Michael Scofield and friends Why they choose to do this nobody knows. As literally any videogamer and Prison Break fan will tell you, The Company is evil, and secondly, why not let us play as a character we would actually want to play as? Like, I dunno, Michael?! It could even still work well playing as Sucre - for one you'd get to have conjugal visits with Maricruz. Two, you'd get to say silly things like "do you think he found the hole?". And three, you'd be coming up with unique solutions to problems. The developer making this game is known for making bad adaptations of films, so I honestly don't have high hopes for this game. My ideal game based on season 1 of the show would be like this: The gameplay would usually consist of the daily routine of prison life. You'd play as Michael most of the time, planning the escape and making allies, but occasionally switch to other characters like Westmoreland (the late D.B. Cooper). Like when Officer Bellic finds the hole in the guard's break room: Westmoreland has to knock him out, tie him up, hide his body in the tunnels, and recover the hole - all while any guard could walk in at any moment I think it would be fun. Many other characters would have their own vital tasks that need to be done to conceal the plan, and during the most important events you'd play as them as well. The gameplay would be very methodical. Stealth games like Splinter Cell come to mind, but there would also have to be socializing near the beginning to gain trust. As well there would be many instances where you'd have to get work done, or sneak somewhere within a certain amount of time - like when Michael has to go into the areas behind his cell to do work, while Sucre keeps watch - and get back before the guards come around to do "count". There are dozens of examples of when timing and speed would be vital to not getting caught, and I think it could be a very good game if done correctly. Finally, the show isn't always slow and methodical - during the prison riots all craziness breaks loose, during which Michael has to save his love interest Dr. Tancreti from insane, women-deprived lunatics. And his brother Lincoln Burrows has to defend himself from a man sent by The Company to kill him. So yes, my ideal Prison Break game would consist of a lot of stealth and planning, but would also be made better by the very occasional (see: rare) fight sequences - frequent socializing with other inmates and The Man (the Warden of the prison, prison guards, etc...), and lastly getting work done secretly, and going about normal life within the prison. I will leave you all with screenshots I got from the website, and my wish that the game turns out okay.
blitsie
Kind of reminds me of an old game I played,Prisoner of War,I think. Anyone remember that? I think Prison Break can go either horribly wrong or just good, like a 75/100 good, but I guess we should just wait and see...
LittleBlueTroll
Screenshots look fantastic, This game is either going to be amazing or just an epic fail The programme was great (up until the end i thought) But surely everyone would rather play as michael "the mastermind" Scofield? However as we dont know the actual plot of the game, lets just see how it pans out
McReary7772
Yea and it reminds me of the game The Great Escape. This looks good.I have watched every episode.I cant wait
arsenal_fan
I've never watched the show but my friend has watched every episode so I'll ask him to fill me on the details of Prison Break. The screenshots look awesome, if the plot and gameplay are just as good than I'll defintley give this a game a rent.

Ha, that was the first thing that sprung to mind when I saw those screenshots. I love Prisoner of War, while it was flawed it was still a good game. I really liked the way you couldn't use violence in it, brought a whole new take on stealth games.

The N. Bellic Man
Just finished the last episode. What a show! I didn't even like Prison Break at first, but ultimately I find it very entertaining and good. I'm really hoping that they can recapture some of that magic in this game. Mark Pagliaro
Can't wait for this I loved the show and it will give me a little PB dosage I have missed so much. I'm still hoping for the whole series to be released in North America on BD but so far only seasons 1,3 and The Final Break need season 2 and 4 come one FOX.
