Pretty nice...

I like your placement of objects, but the text feels very wrong.

As was mentioned, I'd also use some sort of gradient or dropshadow effect, but more than that, the text are in odd locations which don't seem to compliment the objects in the scenes, imho. I also agree with Seachmall (odd... smile.gif ) try a subtle texture that fits the theme. Much better than heavy solids in most cases.

The simplicity of these is good, though, unlike some of the horribly busy and loud banners you see around...

Also, I'd make them a bit flatter, as their current aspect ratio feels a little chunky. You'd be amazed a what shaving off just a few pixels can do to change an image's whole character.

Keep on, mang.

BTW, we know we're in GTAForums.com tounge.gif

Try to work in the largest size humanly possible to get the richest resolution. You can always dither down to the best fit, and be crisp.

if you MUST enlarge an image too small to work on,bicubic resample up to slightly more than a multiple of the current size.

Bilinear resample down to your target res when done.

I agree with both of the above. The type appears to kill the images, and there is no need for the 'GTAForums.com'. I think for most of the images the 'GTAForums.com' text has better placement than your name so I'd suggest switching them around (and still get rid of the 'GTAForums.com').

The image should be the main focus, not the name. Perhaps try to subtly add your name as a decal or number plate onto the cars to have it 'hidden in plain sight'. If not just keep it in a corner (or have it half on/half off the picture).

For the San Andreas ones I think the font is OK but the car ones need to be changed. Try to use a font similar to the ones already on the car (a general rule of thumb is to never have more than 3 different fonts in an image and keep them similar [of course you should still experiment with drastically different fonts]).
