Handle of existing object

I looked up an object in MAIN.scm monocle.gif but i also noticed that R* removed references to the object... suicidal.gif And i can't come up with something to get a handle to the object again, anyone??

you found an object which was removed from the game or did you find an object and you don't know how to handle it?

In MAIN.scm it was created and then later the references was removed from the object, so the handle of it dont exist. like the variable is nothing. how can i get a new handle to the object?

was it a weapon like the screwdriver?

 

should be possible to recode the main.scm and edit all parts where the object loses its refernces

 

thats the theory. confused.gif don't know whether it's possible to reduce this to practice

Unless there's a grab object in sphere opcode I don't think it's possible. Once references are removed the game forgets the object.

Yea, i noticed too, but i didnt think that was a way to handle it. And i just tried my script, it dont work just crash the game

EDIT: Nope actually it made more of them... ALOT more, so much the game couldnt take it.

What you mean so? The games crashes. It didnt make a handle for it it made more of them.

Meh, I spend a hour for the script and came back and gave a link to pinkys one mercie_blink.gif

Why didn't post some hours ealier

I made it with height check instead keypress

Btw. 0392: is only nessesary for the throw opcode, not for move

and CCCode, 034E: must run in a loop
