skiddmark
It's not in "vehOff.csv" Somewhere there must be a command parameter to attach a camera view to the suspension in bumper and bonnet cam views. This causes the camera to bounce around with vehicle movement. The cameras are not "attached" to the suspension in some other camera views. Also if you are in one of these other views such as one of the chase views and you look backwards, the back view is a FIXED camera and follows the car exactly. So where are these control commands? There may be other parameters to control the rate at which the mobile cameras follow (catches up to) the vehicle in a turn. I have great "fixed follow" camera chase views for cars & bikes in my game but it would be neat to dispense with the bouncing and jiggling. Phnx
Any interest in improving views yet? NO!!! I have been asking for this since GTA IV has been released for the PC. NO ONE is interested in this!!! NO ONE!!! *frustrated* I guess you'll get the gist of it.
skiddmark
I edited "vehOff.csv" bonnet views to make fixed rear views for the cars & bikes. The view is also higher and gives great forward visibility, much better than the low view of other R* chase views. If I can just get rid of the bouncing!! If you want to try out the fixed chase views send me a PM with contact info and I'll send you the file.
