I'd love to try something that doesn't involve in game gangs. Add me to the army please! Also, are these zombies like the ones from the new "Dawn of the Dead" movie? (They bite you, you get infected, etc, etc.) They're traditional slow zombies, I might even add a zombie faction for hardcore fans. They'd be hybrids though. Runners It's ok sanjeem, you can write before the outbreak if you like. try and transgress your story to a ' Before and start of the outbreak thing'. I take it Sanjeem is with the police. Mercy, I Hope I was walking down the street towards Mercy hospital, hoping they had some medical supplies, or maybe even food. It may be for nothing, chances are by now someone took it. "The first one of the night.", I thought to myself. Not wanting to attract any more that might be nearby, I holstered my CZ79 pistol and took the hoskey stick from my back. When i finally got close enough behind the abomination of science, I raised my club and brought it down over it's head. Brain and some kind of green fluid went everywhere. The zombie fell to the floor, it's skull cap coming to rest a few feet away. Still walking, I saw a cluster of lights off towards the hospital, and silently prayed that they were survivors, and not Biotech soldiers. After around 5 more minutes of walking I came close enough to see the shape of humans. Crouching down and creeping closer, I saw they had none of Biotech's signature armor. Raising my hands in front of me, i a sign of peace I yelled, "Hello? I'm a survivor! can you please help me!?" I apologise sam, here I will rate them now. Sam33: Not a bad starting story, try to seperate quotation lines. All in all I'm hoping to see how our character plays in Mercerville city. Develop more of our character. $35 Sanjeem: Not an official 'Zombie' story, but I like the beginning as it starts up to something, you portray the Officer as corrupt,very well. $45 RabidusUnus: Very short, but well written and punctuated. Can you give us a little more insight to your character? Who is he? Where did he come from? $25. Sanjeem Posted August 13, 2009 Share Posted August 13, 2009 Chapter 2 : The Unexpected Visitors Jerry was sitting alone in his office, Trying to solve the Rubix cube, one of life's hardest Pleasurable Chalenges. Officer Henderson Burst in though the door with Blood on his shirt and with a fractured nose, He looked terrible as police sirens where heard, and suddenly the Alarm went off. "sh*t Henderson! Ar..are you? But jerry was interupted "Does it look like I'm Ok argh!...Please Jerry get me a Doctor please i dont want to become Like thehehem" as Henderson cried. Henderson's Face and Body-structure was changing, as his face crumpled up, and deformed so only his skull was visable. The process continued for a few more seconds. "Lord have Mercy! what is this?!" asked Jerry puzzled as he had never seen anything like this before. Before Jerry knew it Henderson turned into something he had recongnized from all these movies he had seen. Jerry gasped, and deeply thought that this coudn't be. Henderson had stop screaming and now had a Zombie-like figure. Henderson Bellowed a Roar! But this wasn't henderson anymore, it was a form of Monster that had taken over Henderson's physical self and mind. The Zombie which was no longer Henderson Jumped onto Jerry as it's fingers clutched around Jerry's Neck forcing him to Choke. For some reason though Jerry felt fine and wasn't infected. However the Zombie was choking him. Jerry reached out for the Shotgun on the wall, as he reached for it, he loaded it by grabing it's reload part and thrusting it into the air allowing a bullet to be shot. Jerry raised the gun and placed the barrels to the zombies body.He pulled the trigger which sent the zombie flying into the oposite wall. Jerry got up and the Zombie was still alive, "Holy Cow!" exclaimed jerry. Jerry coudn't give up though, and therefore he took aim for the Zombies head. Jerry fired as the bullets blasted the things head open spraying green liquid which was asumed to be it's blood. Jerry looked down upon the body knowing that it was once his friend. Jerry looked up and made his way down to the Main Office in the Police station inly to find out that The City was now zombie infected. Jerry clutched his Throat as he felt a change in his Body. Jerry knew it...he had been touched and therefore was turning into one of them. He was choking and all his body was aching as his body started going though the Process of reforming. Their was no cure for the disease yet. As Jerry was turning into one of the Zombies, Jerry knew his life was over. Their was nothing the officers could do, The only option his fellow officers had were to shoot him dead and Jerry coudn't stop them The Officers gathered around him, as they loaded their Pistols and took aim at jerry, Jerry thinking that for him this was the End. The only objects visible in the room were the radio transceiver, gun cabinet and the medical box. Nothing was out of the ordinary. Kane had gone downstairs to prepare for the run later in the night, I sat down in front of the radio; tuning for any signals, after a few seconds I tuned in to the emergency broadcast. ’this is an Emergency Broadcast System, It will rerun for duration of 6400 hours. All survivors, please evacuate to all Biotech safe points for immediate support, Quarantine is imminent.’ I sighed; we’d received no updates of any other survivors in the city. I wondered to myself if Mercy Hospital was all that was left, beside Biotech of course, even then that was a frightening thought. The only thing apart from us and Biotech were the countless hordes of undead, hell bent on eating anything’s flesh. The last time I’d heard of activity outside of Mercy was Up north, near the outskirts; I heard the national Guard was up in A watchtower, surviving at least. I closed my eyes, my thoughts going back before the outbreak. I tried not to think of things before then, before everything went wrong. "Zen, Zen? Come here sexy!” the young voice yelled playfully, I hid waiting for her to come close to the closet, my eyes closed until she was close. “Zen-“ I jumped out, taking her by surprise, as we both fell onto the bed we let out an embrace of laughs and kisses. Her soft red hair brushed against me, her beautiful smell was overpowering. She, was my girlfriend. “I can’t believe we’re living together.” She said with a smile, I held onto her as we lay on the bed together. “Well, It didn’t take me long to realise I wanted to be with the one I loved.” I replied with another smile. “Cute, tiger.” All my thoughts to this moment bubbled up, all bobbling out into the 3 words which was all I wanted to tell her, the most beautiful girl in the world, those words were easy to say, and easy to mean it. “I love you,” Her eyes widened, she looked at me with a secret meaning behind her eyes. I knew what she was going to say. “You mean it?” she asked quickly. “I swear.” I said truthfully. “I love you too!” she replied, I smiled again; The sun beating through the black blinds of our new apartment as we embraced. We began to kiss slowly, building up into an intense passion. We both giggled as we went under the crisp white sheets, what better way to symbolise your love then consummating. My thoughts snapped out of my dazing dream as somebody nudged me, I turned and faced them with a quick abrupt shock. It was a young girl, only about 14. “Zen! Or the Resident Evil ultra fast zombies? Do they die when shot in the face? Are they still alive without their head? Do they instantly kill you when you get hit? Like the Witch in Left 4 Dead? I'm not including the zombies in the first story just yet, but I'll like some more info on what we're dealing with. At Biotech pleaswee, yayyayayaya, this would be a warm up to BUYG:IV weeeeeee! Trust me, I'll do better engrish when I'm writing the stories. Lol EDIT: Soz I didn't see the previous posts, they are the slow zombies. But so you do get infected? And going with the traditional zombie they die also die from headshots right? Double Edit: Oh I mean the 28 days/weeks zombies right? Or am I getting confused with another movie? All zombies are traditional slow ones, although I may replace a faction with a hybrid zombie faction, for super fast, super intelligent factions. Mercerville zombies are invincible in the body, therefore they must be shot in the head. They're slow and dumb, but strong. What they lack in intelligence, they gain in numbers. The year prototype Z-17 was released. Z-17 was supposed to help people, better than aspirin and cheaper too. I joined to help defend the country and give aid to our own with new technology. But suddenly waking abruptly from my bunk an alarm sounded. We began attacking Mercerville City. The sudden urge to attack our home was a mystery but some soldiers were in here so long they would take any orders, refusing to think for themselves, or no longer can. I refused to attack, so did many others. We were thrown into a holding facility until we agreed. It was cramped and claustrophobic, even the best of us we stayed. Now those soldiers that stayed, we are best friends. Four weeks we stayed, but when finally we were left out most of the city was rubble. We were then placed back into our rooms under Class 4 punishment for refusal to take orders. I hate looking at my bedroom window, once there was a colourful city glowing with life, not a barren, smoky, fiery land with any existence of life. I was commissioned to leave and go home. But many residential districts were destroyed and I had to stay. 2 weeks into my punishment I heard the remaining people of Mercerville City split and now separate factions. Then in retaliation David Kirshall launched deadly high amounts of Z-17 into the water supply. A final edification of life in Mercerville City, but it didn’t end the revolt of government and power in Mercerville City. Many people died, but they started to rise from the dead; zombies. My name is Darius Hanway, a member of C.O.R.P.S.E, The Containment Of Reanimated Persons to Stop Extremity. Yeah right! Dead people rising back to life are way over extremity already, and ‘Containment’? That practically means shooting the already dead civilians killed by us to kill them again. After he said that, 5 or so muscular men pulled on a chain to raise up the makeshift gate made out of scrap metal. When I walked up to the gate they told me to show them my weapons so i took out of CZ79, Tec-9 and hockey stick, after informing them that those were my only weapons the man handed them back to me, and told me to keep them holstered while inside, unless i'm picked for guard duty. After walking around a bit I saw the room where I was brought to when I cracked my head open when I was 9. Walking down the stairs, there must've been some kind of puddle or something, I remember falling, and my mother screaming, "BEN!! HONEY CALL 9-1-1!", and coming to my side. Then everything faded out to black. The first thing I saw when I woke up was that room. Hospital Part II: Nightfall "Wake up, you're on guard." "What, what's going on?", I aid, reaching for my pistol as I have learned by reflex. "Calm down, calm down, It's just me!" Then I realized it was the man at the gate, earlier. "What do you need?" I asked. "You've been selected for guard duty, take this box of ammunityion, and go to post 9, some of my men will show you the way." After the men showed me to sot nine I took out my pistol and layed it down on the table next to my post, which turned out to be a second floor bay window, with a good view of what was down below. I brought up a chair and sat down, waiting for any infected or Biotech to show up. After about 10 minutes of seeing nothing but the occasional rat, a zombie started walking past, so I raised my gun and fired. The bullet sliced through the air at over one thousand feet per second, taking only a small fraction of that to bury itself into the undead bastard's brain, and burrow it's way out the other side, leaving a spray of green fluid and skull bits in it's wake. The zombie stood there confused for a second or two, then fell down almost comically fast, dead. (OOC:For backstory, you've learned my character's name is Benjamin! Rucke Posted August 17, 2009 Share Posted August 17, 2009 Here comes my first chapter for the Police. Enjoy! CHAPTER 1: The Everyday Heroes of Mercerville City. It had been a rough day for Police officer Jimmy Curran. The city was in complete kaos after the international company, Biotech started to dump their drug Z17 into the rivers and lakes of Marceville City. Almost 1/5 of the city had been poisoned, and those who had been started to get strange syntoms. Their skin became more and more yellow, their eyes became black as the night and their speech became affected. They started to look more and more like the zombies we see in the horror movies. The people at street had grown scared for the so called Z17 Zombies since their mind was also affected. Z17 made them lose all their empathy and compassion, which made them ice cold killers. Only today, Jimmy Curran and his partner Sam Wagner had seen about ten murder attempts on the civilians, caused by the Z17 Zombies. Right now Jimmy was sitting inside his police car outside the donutshop in Freyton, north Mercerville City. Sam came out from the shop with donuts and coffee in his hands. Jimmy heard someone calling the police radio: "We got a hostage situation in Downtown. All cars, please respond." "This is car 19, reporting from Freyton." Jimmy answered. "Get to the Downtown Plaza; the Zombies have taken civilian hostages." The man handling the police radio said. "We just got a call. Let's go!" Jimmy said once Sam had got into the car. "Why can we never be able to finish our donuts?" Sam said and hit the accelerator. In Jimmy's opinion, Sam didn't need anymore donuts. He looked like a donut himself these days. Sam was quite fat, had brown hair and was in his mid thirties. Jimmy on the other hand was normally built, had very short hair and was in his early forties. When Jimmy and Sam arrived, the police had surrounded the entire Plaza. When Jimmy got closer he saw two zombies holding about ten civilians hostage. Police Chief Danny Manila tried to negotiate with the zombies with the help of his megaphone, but without success. When Chief Manila tried to get closer, the zombies shot one of the hostages in the head. Chief Manila backed away immediately. "We need another plan." He said once he had gathered the rest of the guys. "This is a hostage situation, call the National Guard maybe?" Sam suggested. "We'll look like nothing if we can't handle this ourselves." Chief Manila said. Jimmy took a quick look and noticed that the zombies were holding the hostage from two different directions. The hostage itself was trapped in the middle of the Plaza, the only way to rescue them was to drive two police cars into the Plaza and cover the two directions. The hit the accelerator and smash the zombies away with the police cars. They wouldn't even have time to react. "I got an idea." Jimmy said and looked at two of the police cars. Jimmy hit the accelerator and the police car headed for the Plaza in the speed of light. Sam was ready with his Mossberg 500 in case Jimmy would miss the zombie. Jimmy looked out the window and the other police car was on its way in the opposite direction. Jimmy gave everything he got and hit the zombie with a smash. He looked out the window again and noticed that the other police car managed to do the same thing, with the remaining zombie. The hostage had been rescued and the zombies were dead. The sad fact however was that things like this was going on all over the entire city. When Jimmy reunited with the rest of the police guys he noticed that a man he had never seen before, dressed in a suit was looking at him. Standing next to him was Chief Manila. Jimmy walked towards them. "Jimmy, I would like to introduce you to Max McKinney, he is working for the National Guard." Chief Manila explained. "Officer Curran, we are very pleased with what you have accomplished today. We now have an even more difficult task for you and your Police friends to complete." Max McKinney said. BTW, Ziggy if you're looking for an extra staff member I would like the job, I've actually wondered what it would be like when I did BUYG vr 2 or something, very long ago. Anyway how about a 'Mercerville Rebels' faction or 'The Mercerville Convicts' because they 'escaped' prison or they were forced into civil labor to kill zombies because the police/army are low in numbers or something. As it is, they look very silly on other skins, as you can see the blue around them. On the default skin you won't notice that. They look pretty nice though, good work. It just becomes white, this issue has cause me much ache in my photoshopping.
