Flitskikker
Verdict? Well, I'm glad it works now The program compares your computer with the requirements. But if you don't meet the requirements, it doesn't mean you can't run it. My computer doesn't meet GTA IV's requirements, but I can play it, on 15 fps though. People say games are well "playable" with 25 fps or higher. Edited January 2, 2010 by flitskikker
oldage
oh ok. 10 fps is playable to me but I'm used to low fps in games.
Pico
Installed it in English on to Windows XP with SP2. When I try to open it, about 5% in the loading bar (pretty much instantly) I get an error message saying: Run-time error '438': Object doesn't support this property or method And it only has an OK button. The program doesn't open. This program looks good though, I like the idea. But no good if I can't get it to work! Hope this post helps you fix a problem
james227uk
Apparently my CPU isn't good enough to play GTA:SA (Intel Pentium Dual-Core T4200 as the program says) yet I can run it like a charm. BTW really like the program. Nice GUI
Flitskikker
@Pico: I discovered that other people have the same problem on Windows XP, although I don't know the cause yet. But I'm hoping to find out and fixing it for v3.1 @james227uk: Thanks. How is your CPU listed in the Advisor, under which name?

oldage
I too have a T4200, here's what it says: Processor - Pentium ® Dual-Core CPU T4200 @ 2,00Ghz (Dual core) - Pentium III - no from left to right: computer part - your current processor type - required processor - do you meet the req I can run it fine also with everything on medium. james227uk
@james227uk: How is your CPU listed in the Advisor, under which name? Listed in the advisor the same as it is here: For practically every game apparently my CPU is apparently not good enough, yet I can pull off CoD 5 [email protected] at reasonable FPS and Roller Coaster Tycoon at perfect performance Edited January 3, 2010 by james227uk
Democrab
Um, Why is the Mhz values in that far different from the actual Mhz values..? (In your screenshots) 2.4Ghz = 2400Mhz.
Flitskikker
@oldage: It should not be recognized as Pentium III, so I will fix that for the next version. @Joe: Those values between ( and ) are calculated one-core speeds. oldage
wait, it doesn't say my processor is a pentium III, it says I need a pentium III in order to run the game smoothly. or is that what you meant?

Flitskikker
By the way, I'm still looking for translators who want to translate the program into other languages (excluding the ones already included). Just send a PM if you want. EDIT: Woops, sorry for double post.
Slamman
I've yet to steer away from Everest and PC Wizard, SIV, and some other free system analyst tools, but I'll get down to trying yours next! haha Trying to download it, all I get is pop up ads and LINKS BROKEN as a result. Where is something without annoying pop ups that hamper the process?? Edited January 19, 2010 by Slamman
Flitskikker
I think Funpic is dying at the moment. I already managed to get (paid) hosting, the only thing left it to transfer everything, however it may take a while, due to busy at school and stuff like that. Here are the direct links: Installation: http://pcground.nl/flitskikker/flitskikker...foToolSetup.exe Portable: http://pcground.nl/flitskikker/flitskikker...oolPortable.exe Thanks for trying! =) Kind regards, Flitskikker BTW: Why are the pages so extremely wide? Slamman
I appreciate you catching a quick fix, I absolutely HATE those pop up / drop down adverts. I logged in, joined up to Driver's Guide long ago, and though they urge you to pay for their site, they at least make it useable to everyone without much hassle. Thanks again, B. Tornado Rex
Maybe the last update ever , but I'll see. How come? Also it's not reading my correct clock speed. It reads it as it's stock clock speed, but I have it overclocked. Not sure if that's what you were shooting for with the Clock Speed info or not though. ~ Proud Supporter of the Child's Play Charity! | GTANET + Child's Play ~

Well, the popularity (for example on this forums) is not very well, and the makers of CCleaner have released another systeminfotool which, I think, will be more populair in a short time. That kinda demotivates me to continue working on this program. About your problem, could you create a screen shot and mark what you think is wrong? Thanks. mike752
I'm surprised there's not much popularity in this. I actually use this on a variety of computers because it gives a lot of information that is in an easy-to-use format. I'll be downloading this soon. Keep up the good work.
