togemax
First attempt to create the car body from scratch , so don't expect too much
Kowaah
That's nice dude, but you should do chassis smoother, it looks smooth, but in some places it's sharp. And you really need to use different materials/textures.
togemax
I agree ,Kowaah. I've too less experience and got no clue which ZModeler function I could use beside the surface->normals->smoothe , I had set it up to max percentage ,but I must admit that I'm not completely satisfied ,too. Materials , oh yeah.... The reflection map I use ( I really like it ) shouldn't be assigned to the bumpers , I should rather use it for the glass surfaces and assign i.e. a black and white material/texture for bumpers and chrome stripes....maybe on my next car . btw...using a darker material for windows was a good advice. togemax
Still haven't got GTA IV , cause neither I like the characters nor that Big Apple ambient so much. So I got no chance to convert and test it in IV. But if anybody wants to convert/improve it for any game....here's my official permission , just get hands on it
