there is already a rag doll tackle mod, you can look at the videos on youtube, but basically its where you lunge at someone and tackle them.

 

Being a programmer myself, no doubt the debug will output trace information about the mod / gta iv, this assists in tackling 'bugs' as usually this will contain as much information as possible about, where/when the error occurred, what the program and the user were doing at the time it occurred.

Suggestion for the storyline you mentioned at page nr.1

Except of some random callouts you should try to catch the gang who murdered your brother in a drive-by shooting.Your brother was young and did a couple of immature things like graffiti or hanging around with gangsters but this doesn't give them an excuse.That's why you became a cop at the first place,to catch down people doing things like this

Storyline Missions:

1.Getting a call about your brother being shot and when you arrive there is an ambulance that just arrived.You want to deliver him to the hospital yourself.You get him there but he dies

2.You go to deliver the bad news to your family and decide to catch the murderer

3.You go at the crime scene and talk to the detectives.They tell you that its propably the Black Skull Killers cause they considered this their turf and thought that your brother was a spy cause you are a cop

4.You get a call from the crime lab,they got a lead.They think that they know where you can find someone who knows how to lead you to the gang leader

5.You launch a huge SWAT operation and clear and/or arrest a whole neighborhood from Black Skull Killers.The leader is getting away get a car and chase him down.When you catch him he swears not to have anything to do with this

6.Later,you get assaulted by another team of gangsters who are on their cars and shoot at you.You catch their leader and he finally confesses that they were paid assasins.They didn't who hired them though,who is propably the guy that killed your brother.He says that they were supposed to pick up the money after killing you at the lawyers office

7.You go to the lawyer's office disguised as a gangster who wants to pick up the money.The find out who you are and they start shooting you from everywhere.You shoot your way to the entrance of the building

8.You speak to the laywer and he laughs at you.He says the whole city wants you dead,as he and the gangsters were planning a huge riot like the one in LA '94 or SA

9.He escapes and you chase him from roof to roof he shoots at you and you have to kill him.Yeah very melodramatic kind "brother you may rest now" or something

10.The murderer may be dead but you get informed by some FIB detectives called in to investigate the scene that the paid assasin(s) for you and for your brother were different.Bills show that he paid the gangsters to kill you and "1337",a hitman to kill your brother !

11.The riots have started anyway so you will have to arrest 100 criminals before continuing

12.You get a call about "Shots fired".When you arrive at the scene 1337 is finishing up some guy he was killing when he notices you he shoots at you and gets on his car and go.You chase him and you arrest him

Thanks but practically speaking even if MM likes it it can't be exactly like that.I mean there are no roofs at the lawyer's office or he might just have liked a part of it etc etc

 

Another suggestion: Don't name the guy Collin Allcars at the story.Sonny Bonts as a reference to Sonny Bonds,the cop starting from Police Quest:The Chase of The Death Angel and continuing even at Police Quest 8: SWAT 4

Why would I name the guy? I'd rather have you name the guy

 

Debug will stop a loading screen if a script crashes during one, unfreeze the player or stop any looping animations. It's designed to minimise the amount of times you need to end GTA IV because something crashed.

yeah but if there are cut scenes they can't call him "John Doe" or "A Cop"

It would be pretty fun though, "John Doe I need assistance" or "A cop named A Cop shoot me!"

did that, but the key things doesnt work ingame (alt + u etc) mostly i spawn a vehicle bcs i have the simple trainer mod

That is version 0.79 what u have installed and there are these commands:

alt + p = Go on duty/off duty

alt + b = call for backup

alt + f = frisk

alt + h = arrest

shift = traffic stop

 

Version 0.80 will have these other commands that u see on first page...just wait-it will be released really soon.

 

*And btw-disable simple trainer-or disable its key bindigs!!!
