Some of my stories:

 

I took an assignment over the computer about a Robbery in progress, as soon as I pulled up and had that gun out, they ran for it, but I quickly caught up with them and had them booked by dinner time. It was starting to get late, so I went to Industrial Docks in Bohan. There were 3 seedy looking characters talking trash about me as soon as I pass by... I immediately frisk one of them and the other two walk away as fast as they can.. "Not so tough are we now, eh?" I thought to myself. The one I frisked was clean, but his friends probably weren't..

It was the end of my shift.. 11 PM. Time to let the midnight boys take it from here until next shift.

 

 

The LCPD shut down another bridge today over a terrorist scare, due to this, I was sent over to an Algonquin Precinct for today. What a boring day... cops everywhere, and no perps to bust...

I found this woman Jay-walking. I noticed after a taxi swerved by to avoid her. I pulled into the parking lot asking her what the f*ck was that about. She gives me mouth so I begin to frisk her and I found out she has a couple of different names on the credit cards she uses. Backup was right next to me. I hook her up and they take her away.

For all those who want the blue police car and ambulance follow these steps:

 

You need to download a tool called openIV.

you use this tool to go to GTA IV > PC > models > cdimages > vehicles.img

 

right click both the ambulance/police files and replace with the new files

(below)

Make sure you backup your origonal file.

(In my GTA world the white cop cars are the local cops and the blue are the traffic cops)

In the next patch, could you possibly think about the user manually driving the car in-front of the suspect's car as we often crash?

 

This is a brilliant patch! Great work you 2! I will have hours of fun playing this! More officer stories to come tomorrow...

Nice tidy update man... BUt like the others have said, it would be awsome if we could manually park up... Maybe when we press shift, the suspect automatically pulls over to the cerb (not sideways) and then a yellow marker comes up infront so we can park our car infront of him?

 

The way its done now: the way the cop and suspect is parked up... is well... wierd. It clogs up all teh traffic behind and creates crashes.

 

But yeah, its real neat and tidy. Nice work colgate.gif

 

 

so sorry to post a nooby reply, but i have no scripts folder :S

 

Download this and put all teh contents into your GTA IV directory.

 

And oviously to answer your question, the scripts folder is included in teh download smile.gif

Yeah I know, I was thanking you for it in that post! This is possibly the most awesome modification of any game I've ever played. happy.gif

 

I'll be testing it today. I'll come up with some later tonight and post 'em when I can.
