[IV|WIP] LCPD First Response

Hey, why are the calls always to close to you, like when you get a mugging call, and its just 30 secs away from driving, It would be better if you have calls more further away, Just variety.. close and far

OR make it a option, Far Police Calls - Close Police Calls

As a police officer, you don't respond outside of your precinct, that's why. Well you can, in backup of other units but that would be for the future versions where maybe you can support other AI cops.

Which version of the mod should I download for 1.0.4.0 patch? I tried the latest mod and it crashed my game. So I'm thinking If go back to a version before it should be compatible.

LCPDFR is compatible with 1.0.4.0 . Could you post the diag log so we can figure out what's wrong?

On patch 5 game crashes during loading new game or savegame. I can only use xliveless because with dsound I have vds20 error. Log.

P.S. I got it, thats script hook itself, version distributed with mod crashes my game (I have .net 4 & C++ 2010 installed).

Hello, I have GTA IV 1.0.4.0, with this mod and Simple Native Trainer 6.2. Whenever I push activate LCPDFR, the screen just blurs, if I push Alt + P again, it goes back to normal. Help Please?

I believe pushing "P" always toggles the "Definition" option, also not sure if the SNT works with this mod.

No, it shouldn't affect at all. But we do highly suggest using dsound asiloader with LCPDFR.

I use xliveless so i can load other's savegames, but now that I have overwrited the files while playing over-time, can i use dsound instead?

0.95 Alpha testing is now underway!

 

We've just released the alpha test version of LCPDFR 0.95 to a few people who will now be vigorously testing LCPDFR over the next few days. This represents a huge step forward in the development of the project and it is our expectation that, pending alpha feedback, we will be able to release officially towards the end of June.

 

If that's not quick enough for you though, then don't worry as once the alpha testing is completed, we will be looking at entering a beta testing phase with many, many more testers and of course, we will be giving out more details about this once the time comes.

I'm getting this issue, too. The only things I have are HippieCommunist's mod pack, SNT, dsound, and ScriptHook. I'm running the latest EFLC on Steam.

 

I can't download the Diagnostic Tool on the site because it leads me to a 404 page.

 

EDIT: Ohh I see now. I saw the link to the .zip in the forums and saw the Diagnostic Tool, downloaded then used that, and it turns out that I was missing Visual C++. I thought I already installed that! - Whoops! biggrin.gif

Yup. I found out it was called "Definition" in the Graphics settings, and you can switch it off.
