Okay thanks, I didnt realize I was trying to frisk them from 50 feet away lol. Oh and i think this patch fixed my "Grand theft auto 4 has stopped work" error. This mod is going great and I love it!

Really awesome, but I got report a bug...

 

I have only the first part of the city free, because I didn't do all the missions yet, so when you are in the second part of the city and frisk someone, you got police behind you during the animation, and after that the police kill the person you've frisked lol...

 

I don't know how to say it, just create a new game, press alt+P and play a little bit

 

But it's awesome anyway, congratulations!!

I bet the patch is awsome, But I cant play it because of the crash I get... Shame really.

 

I can explain what that guy was saying:

 

I got outside, no props or hats, and press Alt + P... Now it says please wait for a few seconds then the screen teleports to this buliding, but it dosent load properly (prior to the crash ebing soon) The dirrections for arrow keys come up for one second and bam, its all gone.

Congratulations for the mod! You ve brought True Crime 2 to GTA IV! Can't wait for the next update.

One bug (probabaly you know it already) is that when you leave you original police car

and you "steal" another police cruiser, the emergency lights don't work anymore.

Hope that you can fix it. Keep up the good work!

I found a new bug. When you are in the restricted areas of the airport and you frisk or arrest a person, the time it takes to frisk or arrest them you get 4 stars and the police come after you. Also when you have the emergency lights on in this area, the stars apear and disapear in sequence with the lights flashing - lol.

 

 

After watching a show called Traffic Cops, I thought I'll give you another idea... ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognision) obviously you cant read numberplates in this game, but how about a radom message appears on the screen detailing a crime and asking to pull the car over...

Also something else (noticed later) is that the game crashes

when I try to quit from the mod ( I am using v.1.0.2.0. of the game,

-if it has something to do with it-) although the rest things work fine.

Great mod works great! Just only wish I could pull people over and they wouldnt drive away in 2-4 seconds

When I ever try to arrest a ped or call a noose backup, the game indicates the script error and the mod stops working.

(I also get an another cop car when I try to arrest ped, which could be a mis-loading of the police stockade for the transport ?)

I can't call backups, or frisk peds, and even worse, I can't even go back to Niko when I get the script error message.

 

(I also noticed that pressing left button at the first part when choosing cop car crashes it too)

 

I hope these would be fixed (or at least a bit more stable) in the next version

Awesome how you can choose your skin now. Though, with the 0.55 Beta, I can't call the Noose backup anymore, it just crashes the script.

We really need some custom missions aswel, because the normal missions in the squad car have custom rockstar scripts in them, so whenever you call backup, they will not help you because the police is disabled.

 

A tip for people looking for stuff to do as a police officer atm: Nerdhooks sidequest mod is useful, and the police DO actually help you!

After updating to the latest version I get 2 bugs that I didnt get before:

 

Going off duty - script fails

Selecting a car - script fails

Im also getting a crash when i press alt + p to go on duty...

 

I start the game, walk outside. press alt + p to go on duty, it teleports me to the police station then it says something like 'select your model by using the left and right arrows' but on that part it crashes.

i think after about 5-6 times of restarting gta it has worked once. but even then when i was driving around it was saying i was off duty.

 

im using version 1.0.4.0

 

got the lastest scripthook and asi loader.

Can you make it so that we can pull over people and arrest them, Like if they pass a red light or going to fast. Your next patch can you try to make that happen, Or it could be another time i just want that to be in the mod when the whole mod is done.

Hey, I love your mod but I have somethings to address.

 

I don't like it how I get stuck with a police officer model. I would like to change back into Niko when I'm done. Or just make cop clothes for Niko. That would be a better idea. Also I don't like the fact that the mod takes my ammo away from my guns. That isn't a good enough. Rather a bad idea. I would like to have infinite time for missions. To get to the part I have to go there before time runs out. Its kind of bullsh*t that I have to rush there ya know. Well that's the games fault. Also I'd love to be able to be a swat too. Like ranking. You do so many good cop things & you earn the right to go swat. Which means bigger missions. Like more ppl to take down. More danger. Could you add in a cop bike mod in this that doesn't replace cop cars?

 

I know I asked quite a bit sorry, lol. But I'd just like to see the best for this mod ya know.

Can you make it so we can pull people over Really i need to pull people over. Sit at the traffic light near the strip club in bohan, I counted and saw about 20 people pass a red light in 3 minutes.
