Please dont open that can of worms here. People have there preferences and weather it truely is better or not I believe these people put a ton of there own time into creating these mods. So just be thankful that we have them.

Why not? You just upgrade your GTA to 1.0.0.4 then. The biggest advantage of 1.0.0.4 is the ability to double-map keys, which i look very much forward to.

Let me make a few things crystal clear to you all

 

I'm getting fed up of the amount of spam in this topic, Mr Mysterious is working damn hard on this mod, and you're acting like a bunch of immature three year olds. Begging, spamming for a working patch for IV 1.0.4.0, and release dates for 0.90. Let me outline some rules.

 

•There will be no asking about a sodding release date, it will be done when it's done.

•There will be no asking for a version that works with patch 5. (1.0.0.4)

•There will be no posting of links to unofficial downgrade patches. Reinstall and use the official rockstar ones. The simple solution is to keep two installs of IV, one for MP and one for mods.

•There will be no asking for anything to do with the scripthook, post that in the scripthook topic.

 

Anyone who does not follow the simple rules above, will start with a 3 day temp ban, and then move on from there.

I didn't know I can have 2 installs of IV, how?

Everytime when i wanna to do that, It is asking me: Remove, Repair or Modify, something like that...

Install IV first (And keep that as your vanilla non modded copy).

Copy the IV folder to somewhere else, IE C:/

Add short cuts to the new C:/ folder and there you go, two installs of IV.

 

One that is fully updated for MP, and one that will work fine for mods. And since you have a vanilla IV, it also makes it easier when modding if something goes wrong, you've already got a backup to grab files out of.

Right is this in the mod or is it something wrong were it automaticly dispatches Units, becuse sometimes i just want a persuit were its me and the criminal not me 100 units and the criminal :S

Well, i will say that LCPDFR is very cooperative with other mods. Together with LCPDFR i have: ELS, Xtreme Sirens, Fuel Mod, Rent-A-Car mod, Car Shop Mod, Police Pursuit Mod, TrafficFlow Mod, numerous car mods and modified handling file, and i have no problems.

I installed it some time ago, to compare the two mods, but now i only use PPM to spawn a new police vehicle without having to go off and on duty again, and to be able to call extra backup.

It's okay, a Pentium Quad Core 2,33 Ghz, 4 GB ram, GF9600GT, nothing to speak of. Just because a mod is installed, it doesn't strain on the computer, unless you're using the actual mod for something ingame. Although it might take some extra time to load them in the first place, but we're talking seconds.

You're a MOD and just abused probably, 80% of this forum? Sure there's probably a bunch of adults playing this, But i guarentee 80% of the users here are immature kids wanting the product, So that's awesome community skills you have there Gangsta, I'd fire you on the spot for being so rude to the community if i owned this website.

 

You could have easily dealt with that in a better mannor than you did, And it's only a forum, It's not hard to just deal with it and keep your harrasful comment's to YOUR community to yourself.

 

And yes before you ask, I did used to own websites, and know a bit about Moderating.

Then Josheh, your websites should have not been really popular. Because to deal with people without using force or mean comments, you need to know every single person that accesses the forum. He did an awesome job there. A moderator must get the order in the community back at any cost. Kids do not understand forums, so do they understand the authority it must have to be smooth. He wasn't even being rude, he was being direct. If you have any problem on how the forum works here, you are free to move along and to continue your over-headed life alone. Now that was rude. Did Gangsta Killa say anything as bad as that? No he didn't. He asked people more than often to stop begging and spamming for new features, options, bug fixes, and most certainly, noob sentences that ask how the mod will be released.

 

Sorry for being mean, but that's just how it is.

Hey MM, is it possible....for when on duty....when you go to that "dashcam" mode, to have an over lay of "DATE: (sync with computer date) LCPD Unit: (user chooses), officer: (same as last), time: (Sync with game time), brakes indicator, the Lights indicator, and siren indicator?"

Hey MM,

 

Besides all the good things i found in this mod i saw something else that i can't ignore.

 

Somtimes when i call for backup or when some other police cars join a pursuit, som of them dissapear.

 

They drive straight at me and the only thing is see are their emergency lights flashing. There is no car or anything.

 

And also when i am in a shootout sometimes is see guns floating in mid air and there is some shouting but is don't see the police officer who is holding the gun.

 

Is this a known bug? Or is this maybe because of the ELS mod i have installed? Is it maybe my computer specs?

 

I do not have any different skins installed then the standard ones (no extra skins at all actually).

Oh, ok.

Another (dont know if this is a new thing to you all ) thing is that the police officers of GTA IV Episodes From LC are different from the ones that we have now. There are no black cops at all, and there are white and hispanic ones, I am going to keep the original wtd. file so I can play with the black cop model (Just hope that the file is the same thing in GTA IV: ELC).

I know some people may be slightly disappointed by this but I've decided it would be sensible to leave out missions for the initial release of 0.90 in order to release it promptly. Missions are the one thing I've still to do and if I leave them out, it's possible that 0.90 will be released by the end of this week.
