Thank you so much for spending your time making this mod. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to play it yet. I have installed the .net script hook and put the mod in the scripts folder that came with the .net script hook files. I have installed an ASI Loader, but when I go to launch the game. The DVD shows activity but the game doesn’t launch. Can you help?

go to your GTAIV main directory and right click LaunchGTAIV and click, Run As Adiminstrator.

Your have everything im not sure what might be going on, Im not really a tech guy all but try restarting, what patch do you have?

You don't need the dsound.dll, you already have the Scripthook.dll in the folder. And the dsound is for older version of the Scripthook. Perhaps a conflict with those files?

 

PS: You can't say you need the dsound, because I don't have it, and the mod runs perfectly with ASI and .Net mods.

I have done this, but the game still wont load. The DVD just spins and nothing happens. when I delete the new files for the mod to work and I start the game it loads.

hey, I tryed that but still didn't work. I tryed to load the launch without the files in the game folder and just before the game opened I copyed them into the game folder. The game loaded, but when I was ingame I could not start the mod. Nothing happend when I pressed Alt-P or when I pressed `. I really want to play this mod

I was at airport arresting some peoples without reason. After i teleported back to the Police Base (the big one in algonquin)

 

i totally LOL'd.

 

I was standing in this booth of the entrance where the things are what open and close when you drive a car to it, it was quite, some minutes one car drove, after some minute wasting in this toolbooth, i was SCARED and at the same time LOL. Because i looked back in the parking lot from the Station. At this time 7 Police Cars crashed in my booth, destroyed the toolbooth, destroyed everything, killed standing cops, drove up a stair near the toolbooth. after they found a way in, they build a line to the Garage. Thats weird, the cars go and go and try to get in the garage, but they cant. because there is already some cars.

 

And now arresting doesnt work like it should, its not ALT + H but if i found bank card they everytime give up and there it says 'Press ALT + C to arrest them' (them? its only one guy.)

And sometimes if i arrest someone, there will be a copcar spawned, my guy stops aiming and the suspect runs away without reason.

 

Thats weird, just my post about this mod

oh yea only thing i also thought could do with changing is when frisking, it often makes you randomly frisk even after finding something on someone, they run away and you left there frisking the air, and they get away, any chance you could make it so like pressing the mouse key/fire makes you stop frisking?

i mean go on duty with police2 ! police was right.

 

i have the gta iv police at police, the police2 is my modded police car.

 

at first beta release it was right !

 

i have the comet police on police2 an this was a 2doors car and the arrest failed also.

 

how can i change this ?

 

how can i change the on duty car, this was an good idea to, i have many buffalos at police, comet police at police2,

police hummer at police patriot and the fbi car.

 

to selected my on duty car, was a very good idea. i mean.

 

can you do it?

 

 

and i have a new idea.

 

can you mod to call a road block ???

you have change the key from Arrest ALT+ C to ALT + H but you doesnt change it in the information when you found a criminal, like stolen bank cards.

I had the same problem with Dsound.dll so I removed it. When I would save the game it would crash and would not load up. I erased saved files and started new game and it did the same. Once I removed Dsound.dll I could save again.

PROBLEM! After I installed this mod and started the game, it kept crashing. Gta4 has stopped working error. I unstalled the mod and Gta4 started working again, Please please please fix this problem so i can play!

That happened to me aswell... Mysetrious gave me a solution and it worked, then when I came back to it, it just kept on crashing again...

 

But it only crashes after a few seconds of gameplay
