Hey guys... normally I've gotten all kinda mods to work, but this one just wont work

 

Any help please? I got scripthook.dll and asi thing + xlive...

 

And only the Firstrespons.dll in the scripts folder...

 

But when im inside game, the screen just gets more blurrier when i press ALT + P.

 

Because the Alt don't seem to respond.

 

Like when I've entered a cop car, and press Alt only, i get an error saying: ERROR: You need to be on duty to do this" or something...

 

Please anyone help ^^ This seems so awesome I Reinstalled GTA IV etc. all for this

Problam :S iv install LCPD:FR Mod through the installer but pressing Alt + P and it isnt wroking i dont know if iv got patch 1.0.0.4 installed i had a new computer and updated it with 1.0.04 but iv resuntly got a new hardrive and iv updated 1.0.4.0 patch on this one But please help becuase i have no clue whats going on :S?

ok guys i got it working....

 

but... now after trying adding carspawner things, and removed carspawner again, i get GTA IV Fatal error: unrecovable fault. please restart the game every time i do Alt + P.

 

 

Hmm? Any help? =P And could anyone link me the EXACTLY scripthook and xlive i need to download? So i can check if it's a problem with these files, or something else shiet :S

 

EDIT: Omg I even get this message when i am doing cheats on phone -.-" Any help? Or do i have to uninstall the whole shiet?

If you get the "ERROR: You have to be in a cop car to do this", then the mod is obviously installed correct, cause that is a part of LCPDFR.

 

Maybe your problem is, that you have to be on the street, or at least out of your safehouse to go on duty. If you are inside the room in which you save your game, you are not able to go on duty.

Option 1: You start the arresting by either aiming and pressing or by walking up and pressing. You are then given two options: ask him/her to come to your position, ask/him her to stop immediately. If you choose ask to come to position you are given two options: explain the situation to them, tell them to put their hands on their head. Then you get to choose between frisking or arresting and so on... Basically a SUPERSIZED list of choices to make. (Will take some time to code)

 

Option 2: Choose between either arresting, searching, ticketing or warning the suspect.

 

(The new arrest system will replace the current frisking system as well.)

Btw.. i got it working again lol...

 

It seems like the "Cardommer" mod can't run with this script. I had to reinstall GTA IV :S

 

But i can still add car mods, but not use the Cardommer -.-"

 

Well.. another thing about arresting: Is it possible to make the "Area" for where you have to stand to arrest the people? (The red circle) Sometimes it can be annoying when it's so small

 

But i guess this is for getting the "area" for arresting, and not arrest in the "air"?

hmmmmm. I kind of like Option: 1. I guess it depends where I'm pressing and which keys. But yea. I'd be happy to try option 1. I think it is a little more realistic.

 

I was also wondering if it were possible to order a person out of the car without talking to them at their window. Like right after you pull them over, you can press a key (which will trigger an in-game voice, like "Get out of the car!"... or something like that) then the person will get out. After that you either press a key for them to put their hands over their head OR tell them to come to your position.

 

So, it's just like the new arresting system, but it also works during pullover. That would be kind of cool.

Hey guys I just got GTA IV, and immediately installed it. After that I installed Xliveless and LCPDFR - everything works fine, I can choose officer, vehicle... and so on, but after a certain time I hear some strange sound and the game crashes. Anyone know why?

We should be able to arrest with gunpoint anytime to be honest. And you should make it so people that are "under arrest action" CANNOT move, because I have to run through them and run very fast in the checkpoint.

 

In my opinion, I'd say option 1 since it would IMO provide more flexibility.

I dont really get it. I've installed the mod, but When i press "L" I get "CODE 3 EXPERIENCE ON" and my lights flash. thats it! whats the experience? is something supposed to happen? also, stupid question, but where do you report bugs for the mod? what thread?

Mr. Mysterious I don't want to worry you, but mods which change player model have major issue - when you go back to niko model (aka PLAYER) game crashes everytime you put on props (read helmet, cap, glasses). If you don't believe me check this out for your own with either your mod or ex. Player selector (if game doesn't crash, change model again, try getting on bike and putting on helmet so it will crash for sure).

 

The only solution is to customize niko's clothes so they look like cop ones (and props for cop hat)

Don't worry, I've taken all that into consideration. There is a solution, I saved the players skin template before the model change is made, and then restore that template when the player goes off duty. Tested with glasses, hats and helmet.

 

 

I dont want to install it untill most bugs are fixed, but its looking pretty good, nice work

 

Don't let the first post fool you, the mod is not released and is a WIP.

Could you try to make the vechile pull all the way over, and be parallel to the curb. It's really annoying when the vehcile is blocking traffic.

Omg When I'm loading GTA IV, it gets all the way to "Loading - Story Complete" Thing, and when the game is about to start, i get "GTA IV has stopped working" Wth is wrong?

 

I Played it yesterday and everything was fine... but when i try to start it now, it wont..

Suggestion: If it was possible: Wouldn't it be cool to be given a option when arresting someone: Drive him to the policestation, and the other option was just to skip it, like it is now...

 

OR: Let your partner drive him away.

EDIT: And when you pull over someone and ask them to leave ur car: You tell them to put they're hands on their head or something. But they wont ;P They just walk away after a while ;P

 

And when someone is resisting, wouldn't it be possible to still arrest them? Like use the T button thing, and arrest them? To make it more realistic
