Ok I think I might actually have the doors, but they aren't textures they're models but hopefully you can do something with them to make them have the LCPD logo.

Go into PC/Props/Doors/int_door.img and then I'm pretty sure that they are:

 

cj_law_frontdoor_l.wdr

cj_law_frontdoor_r.wdr

 

Good luck with the mod MM.

Yeah, I've seen those before, unfortunately there's no way to edit .wdr files yet.

You know that many Objects have the Texture Inside the WDR file? You can just click the wdr, and click on Edit, and there you go.

Really? Maybe you should try clicking on edit, you might find that it doesn't work...

Ya I figured that out when I tried to see if I could get an LCPD logo on it. It messed up my sound on the logo screens even after I replaced it with the backups. I think it might have something to do with intdoors.ide since it has a ton of lines in it that I'm gonna guess has something to do with the door textures. But I know nothing about that and I don't think other people do either.

Hey guys,

i need help.

first i've seem a few videos of this mod and i have to say it looks awesome! real great work.

 

I've buyed GTA IV, installed it and downloaded the LCPDFR-Mod.

 

now my problem.

i've tried to install the mod on my pc, i've downloaded ASI Launcher, Scripthook, have all files extracted to the main folder of GTA IV and i've extracted LCPDFR-Mod files to the /scripts folder.

Then i've performed the check. FirstResponse.net.dll is in the /scripts folder, ScriptHookDotNet.asi is in the main folder, no dsounds.dll sad.gif

 

When i start the game everything is as always, just no windows live, i start a new game and can just play nico, no police, no trafficstops etc.

 

What i've done wrong? Please help me, i really want to play this fantastic looking mod.

 

By the way, i'm from Germany, so i have the german version of GTA, may that be the problem?

And sorry for bad english skilled, as mentioned i am german.

Did you press ALT + P in game?

Is scripthookdotnet.dll there?

Is your GTA IV version 1.0.4.0 or 1.0.3.0, if you've not patched it, it will be 1.0.0.0

It's Version 1.0.0.0, no patch, just the normal game as it is on the cd

You have to patch it to 1.0.4.0 or 1.0.3.0

Could you try to make the vechile pull all the way over, and be parallel to the curb. It's really annoying when the vehcile is blocking traffic.

How did you get the door texture to actually work???? And love the work so far, cant wait for the release! And can you do an ini file this time cause some of the keys can cause me problems(some of my numpad numbers don't work)

In current version you can pullover every car you want, except the emergency vehicles !

 

Freakin nice updates Chief ! ... and as "keathedog" already said, I hope that they will stop properly in the next version intead of blocking half of the road. tounge.gif

I think he means again, if every car will stop and not flee, when you attempt to pull them over.

 

And no, i certainly don't hope so, otherwise the game would be pretty damn boring. But maybe you could make the flee/stop rates adjustable in a .ini file, so every individual user can control how realistic, or how actionpacked he wants the mod to be?
