It's obvious alot of you have little to no knowledge on what you're talking about and are very biased because of your liking of the Mafia but in all seriousness it depends on the scenario and the area. For 1 let's do numbers. The Bloods have a U.S. estimated membership of well over 25,000 and they are basically in every major U.S. city. The Crips have an estimated 30,000 membership in the U.S. and are also in almost every major U.S. city. Granted these 2 gangs aren't all in cooperation with each other as the East Coast Bloods which consist of numerous factions cuch as the most relevant the U.B.N(United Blood Nation) most;y have no interaction with West Coast Bloods as West Coast Bloods mainly consider East Coast Bloods as posers. However on the West Coast the gangs aren't organized as a whole and mainly just bang for their "hood" while the Easst Coast versions of both gangs bang for the actual gang. There is more then enough articles and videos that can be found on the internet. If it were a war on the West Coast between the Crips and Bloods and there hundreds of sets and they were at a full scale war with a West Coast version of the Italian Mafia then the street gangs would win with no doubt especially if it was a very open war. They have more clotu and numbers then the Italian Mafia on the West Coast.

 

However there are more then enough extremely organized gangs that have evolved into much more then street gangs such as the Gangster Disciples, Black P. Stone Nation, the Folk Nation, People Nation and many many more examples. However since this is Ballas and Families aka Crips and Bloods, there are also very organized versions of those gangs as well. Notable examples would be the Rollin 60's Crip gang in LA. Also West Coast gangs are very organized as well and have numerous alliances. Gangs form alliances and fall under specific banners such as the Neighborhood banner which every gang has Neighborhood in their name such as Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crip or the Coast banner such as East Coast Crips or Rollin 20s Coast Crips. Also certain gangs that have turned into full fledged organizations have been involved in many things "Mafias" have been involved with. I suggest some of you people do some research. Just because what you see on tv or hear on music you think you know everything and every gang acts the same when that's far from the truth.

I see what you're saying with 10 people with AK-47's fighting 300 gangstas that are using Micro-Uzi's. That would be tough for the Mafia to beat. At the end, the mafia would probably not win. I have a couple things that I can prove you wrong on. The mafia would have more than 10 members to fight. One more thing, I really don't think that the gangta's could gather up 300 gang members to fight. That's really unrealistic.

Fair enough (but that still doesn't mean Italians can't lose, then again, that doesn't mean Bloods/Crips can't lose, either). Actually, it's the Mexican Mafia, AFAIK. The Italians arn't like they use to be I mean, I doubt the Italian Mafia barely even exists anymore (maybe in Italy?). They're probably a few mafias, but they probably don't have more members than Bloods/Crips. Now if this was in the 1920's or 1930's, it would be a different story.

dead relations yes my grandad was a member, and i think some do use curved knives in their variety of torture weapons along with chainsaws,hooks,flamethrowers and pliers but yeah they are very real and are responsible for bringing in 80% of all heroin in the uk and are the biggest suppliers of heroin to the western world and have links within in tthe turkish government,pkk and the taliban and to top it off,because of their relations to the government they can deal drugs and kill people and have it covered up. not so funny now ey?
