that mistake is couse GTA SA has a low memory and cant load so much components in a only part...

i think this will make 3x times harder the work in centra park but that piece you will have to divide it near on 2 or 3 more parts...

 

believe me...my bank interior had damn fking crash everytime i touched it...like 2 days took me to make GTA SA run it well as you see it in Video

and well central park is much bigger so think how you will make the magic xD

Its actually in 5 parts when I stepped on the prelight part it crashed but on the places its not prelight it dosent

but COL erros theres a whole some where in the grass but Im fixing it right now. xD

i can fix the col bugs if you want...anyway well when a mesh that is going to GTA SA has more than 150/170 lights you can say that it will crash in-game so well thats why i everytim keep them down from those limits

Thats the new exterior.I made for the model.Took me 4 hours to make it.its supposed to be modern like,and give it the energy efficiant feel.I don't know if you know but all the new york buildings are getting manditory rereonvations to become more energy efficant.The first building to get it was the new 7 WTC which was built in 2006.and the second is the Empire State Building which the rerenovation project will be comepleted in the next 3 years so i figured why not give the new Twin Towers that feature too.

im getting assholed by LODS tut!

 

i read 1 tut on how to put them in-game but was a mess....it confuse you till your balls explode!

anyone has one on how to put LODS in-game but well explained Please!!

just make a low poly version of it then import it ingame just put LOD on the name of it then copy the coordinates into the LOD's coordinate then poof its there.

LOD in SA doesn't matter what you name the object.

 

Here is how to count lines:

 

INSTline 0line 1line 2line 3line 4line 5end

 

 

so, to tell the game what to switch (it will crash if done incorrectly):

 

 

INSTobject 1, coords etc, -1 (-1 means there is NO LOD, this object just can't be seen far)object 2, coords etc, 3 <--trailing three tells that LOD for this is on line 3, the 4th entryobject 2, coords etc, -1 <--another no-LODLOD one, coords etc, -1 <-- IT can have another LOD, too, but not used often, and not used hereanother object, coords etc, 5 <---this five points to the object below as LODanother LOD, coords etc, -1  end

 

 

You do not have to go model, lod, model, lod, either. It can be like this

 

 

INSTNormal Object1, coords etc, 4   <---line #0Normal Object2, coords etc, 5Normal Object3, coords etc, 6Normal Object4, coords etc, 7LOD Object1, coords etc, -1   <--line #4LOD Object2, coords etc, -1LOD Object3, coords etc, -1LOD Object4, coords etc, 8  <---here an SLOD is used, belowSLOD (super low/second level for object above) -1END

 

 

I hope this is understandable easily? I can maybe do better, but it might be enough. Look at the original game IPLs and the numbers at the end of lines and it should be easier to understand.

 

MetaPad, Notepad++ etc are some good non-formatted text editors to aid in counting lines (with line count on their margin)

No you know why I need the road system. so if its layout we can check in and check out blocks that were doing and that will make our progress faster. here so no much work can you just make the road system up to WTC or up to manhatttan bridge. PLEASE

And yes, start with roads and their LODs, it's ok to do some lots so far, but you have a good thought to start with roads - it is how Rockstar does it. "baselands" are backwards, In fact, if you can, LOD first, then close model is ideal smile.gif

but i cant take it out of MAX! the fking DFF exporter(KAMS Script is giving me a error)
