Cheaters continuous presence almost everywhere

i gave up trying to play online months ago. it was the most fun ive had in an online game, but once cheaters started to pop up in EVERY GAME there wasnt much of a point anymore. if rockstar hadnt used games for windows and let people run and maintain there own servers, cheating would be an almost non issue.

 

Script kiddies ruined things for Diablo too. I watched that game empty except for a couple of stragglers

who just wanted to go on to play with their cheats, usually by springing them on new people and getting

a laugh, thinking in their own miniscule mind, they were impressing someone.

 

They didn't last long either. Cheating becomes boring to the cheater.

 

They're unable to understand the real fun is in struggling to better yourself in a competition, your hand-eye

coordination and the satisfaction of meeting those goals, winning fairly through practice and skill. It's possible

they tried this and are sub-par, and arent even capable of winning fairly, so they lash out at everyone else who

does.

 

There's no question the same thing will happen with GTA IV online that happened to Diablo, unless Rockstar

commits their time and hires the right talent to effectively do something to prevent it, and soon. There is a point

of no return where theyll lose their online player base and never be able to get them back if and when it improves

and a nominal fee charged.

 

Like this poster who immediately praised those "intelligent" enough to do it. They're not intelligent. They just took the hours

reading web pages and figuring it out. It's a question of who's dishonest enough to actually take the time to do it, to mess

everyone else over. Not intelligence.

 

Sometimes game developers have sabotaged rivals this way. Everything should be done to prevent it.

 

They should shunned, torn apart verbally and shot off the boards.

After few weeks of Sp and Mp free mode, i checked one team death match game.... people just writing all the time 'cheater, gay, kick him.....'' 1 dude runing with car 300mph, other one spawning all kinds of sh*t, third one just kill others, he is invincible... Regarding the rest of your drivel, the argument or disagreement was plainly about your remark that thousand tugs was written in 10 minutes, and that you can do a complete trainer in 15. The lines of code had nothing whatsoever to do with that argument, other then giving you an indication of some of those trainers, of which I claimed that would take a hell of a lot more then just 15 minutes.

I actually agreed that the original author most likely didn't write it in 10 minutes many posts back. The statement you're referencing of mine I'm pretty sure didn't even remotely suggest past tense. I still stand by what your posts show that it wasn't the original argument.

 

It'd be nice to end it. People can code it in under ten minutes now given the information is in the public domain. It's ridiculous to even argue about it.

 

On Topic: Ranked matches are very dead, go into custom and do a broad search. Even non-ranked is starting to look grim.

In any case, a complete trainer isn't made in just ten minutes, it IS silly to even argue about it, and it is save to say that your complete trainer is nowhere to be seen, as you announced you would make one, now considering you can do it in 10 minutes, it is rather strange you haven't done so. After all it only takes 10 minutes..

 

It is good to see you actually agree that thousand tugs wasn't made in ten minutes, altough you specifically claimed it was. Now that was all that was debated here.

It's complete BS if you think Rockstar can't place a fix to stop the server crashes from happening. The few pricks I've seen do it are OsamaBinladen (or something like that) and Cheme something. They flood the server with tug boats and noise - this can be detected and not allowed before it had a chance to kill the server and everyones bandwidth. We all use pretty much the same bandwidth to communicate with the server - how freaking hard is it to watch for large amounts of data, or at least check to see if the data is over a certain amount before allowing it to continue?

 

I do blame the fags that do this, but blame more of Rockstar for still allowing it to happen. Poor maintenance of a game will keep people from buying another one.

I just stick to ranked, and there arent many echeaters there. Beside most of the time i play DM or TDM at aiport and fly anhninilator

The problem with that option is the very fact that there aren't many players going in the ranked matches, and as welll as the problem of waiting for people in there.

Won't work. I've been going to GFWL Forum complaining about the griefers/cheaters/crashers who uses these mods to disrupt other players games. Haven't seen any bans since the players that I showed proof that they are cheating is still using their accounts and continuing to do the usual.

I use mods myself, but i dont spawn 300 tugs randomly, i use mods to have fun, the way that everyone else has fun too. Like building tracks from Qub3d game grids, spawning cars for other people if they want. This guy who youre going to report should burn in hell. I bet he has no friends at all. Hes just a 10 year old kid or a 30 year old psycho. I hope R* Fixes everything and modders will make g4mhook and C++ hook SDK private, so its only use for certain people. And the actual modifications of the game, should be allowed on Free Mode and Party Mode, they dont do such harm for the game as much as these plugin mods do.

..they think its fun to crash servers and ruin game, but its something wrong in their head, but they even dont know they are brain damaged!

I still play ranked matches on a daily basis and yes the last few days every game i joined some one was spawning peds

while i turned them off in the settings. They even gave them weapons and ordered them to shoot me. Same happened in unranked...

 

GFWL should make a system that makes it impossible for players you select to join your game. Kind of like an account ban.

Either this or just an build in admin system for the person that hosts the game.

 

Best would be dedicated servers with admins but don't think that wil ever happen

Sad that I just got this game a couple weeks ago and find out that the MP is a sh*tty experience. I also play UT2004 and UT3 online and my clan bans all cheaters on the first instance. No discussion, BOOM done. We would even share cheater game ID's with other clans so they would be banned everywhere.

The tugboat spawn is a bug i think of a certain script that also works in deathmatch mode and all other MP modes using g4mhook.

 

but i have seen something new today, i was playing on a free-mode server with 16 players.

and there was a hacker in it that controlled all our cars (drivers themselves had no control over their vehicles anymore).

Eventually also crashed our gta4 game and server.

 

I'm afraid if nothing happens that gta4 MP eventually will totally die.

Something similiar happened to me once on a server. You can spawn objects and attach them to yourself with certain trainers, but someone on the server spawned and attached objects to ALL players on the server...don't know if that was just a bug or some modded script/trainer, but it sure was annoying.

I am still waiting for InGlocksWeTrust to response to my simple question. You see I don't think GFWL isn't going to do anything about banning players accounts. It's all about the f*cking money yo. If you ban their (f*cktard cheaters) accounts, then you lose your customers. It is clear as mud. That is GFWL is all about: hypocrisy and give us your money you f*ckhead consumer drones.

How I know? They can't answer a simple question about why are they not banning accounts. The usual reply I get from them is that blame it on the developer*. I do that too. Only to make a grievance about wanting another patch and to never to renew a partnership with GFWL if R* decides to make a new GTA game for the pc. But GFWL supply the online services. Wtf? If I have a problem with the online experience, then I must not go directly to the online provider, but to go to the people who had made the game? Bullsh*t.

 

*GTA 4 on the pc isn't the only one game that is having problem with having no anti-cheat system. I've seen other threads where many customers are given the same f*cking line after line. "Blame it on the developer" "If we delete their accounts, new ones will be made by the same person who had been banned" Blah f*cking boo boo blah.

I remember seeing in the back of the manual the credits and it has listed the developers and the managers and on up the chain.

 

post the names here, their emails can be found if searched hard enough...we post the info, email and demand a patch for the this crap.

 

 

I dont have the reference in front of me, but to the guy who also plays UT - hello fellow UT'er, loved that game and have been apart of some pretty good clans in my day as well. top of ladders for a while in a few instances. Man I miss those days in UT '99 when instagib was hopping and people were there for a good fight. I just haven't experienced that in such a while.

 

This game has such potential to be that but I think fails at it big time.

Is there any option to take screenshot in IV? I run into cheaters often in free mode. (yeah i know that in free mode you are gonna see cheaters, but we started a war and a cheater came by and started killing)

Thr worst cheat is car godmode. not only you are a drive by-ing noob, you or the car can't be destroyed. I hate players that come with a vehicle and either run you down or shoot at you.. but if you have a SMG it won't be a problem as they are much vulnerable than you. (just aim for the head. heck this works even with a pistol. Desert eagle <3)

Thanks for the reply on this and names. Just an fyi, the names do not have to really be related to multiplayer only, usually there are general managers, or project managers, CEO's also on the list. Anyone having to deal with the creation of the game locally and online could be used. Even a lonely developer there, if asked a thousand times for something, will go to his superior and say something. This will at least start a fire under someone's butt. But those network programmers you mentioned are a great start!

 

I will start searching on these names and try to get an email address or close. Anyone else wanna do that too or add more names here would sure help.

Printscreen w/e is built into windows, the other steps too.. Yes your image will stutter for a sec, thats it.

I have to say that if GFWL does not ban his account, then maybe it is either one or another case of they are not going to ever ban his account, or simply can't ban his account due to maybe he had bypassed GFWL code to prevent them to ban his account. Take your pick.

 

 

And his usual reply is this: If you kick me, I will crash the server.
