Thanks for the idea costar, i could make some spikes (nails, whatever it's called...) and add them to the front bumper, i will watch Rolling Vengeance and Duel to get some inspiration smile.gif

 

xtreme you can either import the .wft in the .wft you are editing and choose the parts you want and drag and drop em or you can save the .wft from the car which you want parts of as .z3d and merge it with your car's .wft, so you can select which parts you want.

I dont think I've seen those 2 movies, hmm...

But say, if you put them on the bumper, wont that be too low ?

I tried laying them out so that they would be inline w/ most normal vehicles rear/fronts where it would be even w/ them as opposed to sliding up under them.. and well ofcourse for taller vehs as well as peds..

Is it possible for the spikes to act like spikes (puncture stuff) or will they just act like a bumper (impact) ?

 

IMO, it would be nice if the truck had some vents over windows like the dreadnaught in death race

xtreme you can either import the .wft in the .wft you are editing and choose the parts you want and drag and drop em or you can save the .wft from the car which you want parts of as .z3d and merge it with your car's .wft, so you can select which parts you want.

Thanks a lot Slayer, i knew you were countable.

I just want to show you my first one, i put a bull bar on the Phantom, it looks pretty neat. It's actually the Bobcat's, but it still looks good.

Nice car SLAYER.

#1 suggestion, and i figured this out by experimenting.

Have another extra be a bonnet, same carbon bonnet, but with triangles removed around the supercharger area, that way there is a hole in the bonnet to make it look real as though the supercharger goes through it realistically instead of just looking like it sits on the bonnet.

Heck I like the car w/ just the diff rim and tires, that is has to be my fav addition to the car colgate.gif

I guess the blower could work but to me he loox abit odd.. I do however think XTREME is right if you want it more authentic to have hole cut out around it..

Is this the ingame blower or one you made up ?

I know there are diff size pulley for creating diff psi but that one loox abit odd, normally his top pulley is the bigger one, well usually just dont see as many w/ a BIG tensions pulley and really small drive pulley, they look more like this

And lastly the rear wing can you get a better pic, cant see how close to the deck it is, it loox almost integrated on the edges, would like to see a more side/frontal view of it, proly best to see on the black car to better see lines, either way, be careful around "your shop" I'm comin by there to steal one w/ those wheels!! tounge.gif

@XTREME0235: I've applied the normal car material instead of carbon as it not really fit i guess, i'll keep the grille and around the lights black.

And i've made a hole for the blower.

 

@Costar: Will work on the truck when i get time smile.gif

 

Well, i've changed the size of the blower and changed it's position.

And yes, it's the blower from the dukes. I've edited the lights textures, as i didn't find the old one appealing. The left wing has now the same color as the whole car body.

 

I changed the wheels again and added a extra double pipe exhaust at the side (from sabre 2).

I got a nasty bug: The rims are flashing when the wheels rotate.

I already checked _L1 and [COL], and they are alright.

Anyone have a clue how to fix it?

aww man, I liked the other wheels too but these ones look good too, I noticed are wider, but I also notice you have "dually" wheel tracks, SRIMK had this problem and someone suggest .. and I quote:

The exhaust I think is weird to have driver side short near door and psgr go to the back of the car, either both should be short by doors or both extend out to the rear.

 

IMO, the blower loox really good, specially w/ hole in hood, overall it loox good hopt up but proly odd that Roman would have his taxi hopt up, altho it could gain him business, since he'd "get ya there faster than the competition" tounge.gif

Well, then you most likely don't have wider rear wheels anymore and get messed up collision, but will try it.

Well it's something else i just discovered.

The wheels have two materials, one for the rusty rims and one for the actual tires, and both of those materials have a own dirt wheel texture.

And if i disable the dirt wheel texture of the rim material it turns black.

Like if was when it's flashing, when the dirt texture is shown it's lighter and when it's not it's darker. So there is a problem with the dirt on the rim. I try to remove the dirt texture from the rim as it's already rusty and just gives me errors, this will result also in darker rims, but i try to lighten them up as they were originally.

 

Hope this also helped someone who had that problem too.

Yeah it is, but i noticed the Sabre 2 had that too, as it spawns as extra, so it will have two exhaust.

 

I will make double sidepipe at the rear and left side, so it will be cool.

Well if you want to it's a esperanto, as i removed all taxi stickers and lights. I want it to be a beater esperanto, so it must have some rust, for example on the wings, doors and so on.

What you think?

Well I havent checkt his actual wheel width yet but I did notice in a vid that SRIMK apparently fixt his, no more "dually" wheel marx.

 

Hmm, yea I like the second one better, the first pic w/ that big black bumper, these are 2 very diff designs, the 2nd pic - he is good for IV but the first pic, that is a vehicle in the makings for MADMAX !!! tounge.gif

 

I guess a lil spotty paint etc fits w/ a car that has old lookin rims and such..

Otherwise if the blower was all shiney chrome and wheels too then the car could def be made to have a nice paintjob w/ some decals tounge.gif

To fix it just move up the indicators & taillights at first and later headlights & breaklights in the hierarchy.

Hello,

I was just wanting to ask a question here.

 

Could somebody have the kindness and tell me how i add other car parts as extra's to be put on and off via trainer?

For example, i changed the Flatbed and Packer models, so that the Packer has the Container and Crane from the flatbed and i have the Tanker and Packer ramp on the Flatbed if you get that smile.gif

 

Anyway, unfortunately these did not appear in game when i changed them, so i was wondering how i can have them as 'extra's' so that they can be placed on or off in game via trainer.

 

Btw i have the extra parts named extra_6, extra_7 etc.

Here is an image of what i have done.

I wanted to test out the new lights system, that IV have. So far this is far more fun than SA's and this will open up a lot of new opportunities biggrin.gif

 

I changed the original rear lights to have the paint texture and attached them to the body, and made some quick cylinders as replacements

Set up the heirarchy for your model the same as normal gta cars there should be L0 and L1 models post a screen of your hierarchy for both extras 6 and 7 also make sure they have been textured correctly or they won't show up either. You may also want a COL for both new extras if there isn't 1 already.

Okay no problem, here is my heiarchy for Extras 6 & 7.

I have positioned the COL for both extra's, but don't know weather to tick any more boxes.

Also, that misc_a in the list is the bull bar from the Benson. That DOES appear in game by default as apart of the model, and i can put that on or off in game via trainer like these 2 extra's.

Note, that i haven't used the banger exhaust on the screens, but i will include them when it's ready for release icon14.gif

 

I've added various color schemes to it, and i quicker handling smile.gif

 

It's still not finished, i'll re-do the body and modernize it a bit, so it'll get 80s style.

 

Besides that the wheels are a bit to wide, and the rims still blink.

I really need to know how to get it fixed...

 

Besides that i got a new PC, which runs IV/EFLC properly and this gives me more motivation in case of modding to fix and release more of my older mods icon14.gif

I am not so sure about the big difference in the front and the rear bumper, makes it look like 2 diff cars, IMO ..

 

Then whoa, what happened w/ the hood/blower ?

I see the hood is in the background w/ no hole in it but then the engine is also bent in but the breather part is still fixt perfectly straight on ..

I never even drove the "dukes" much ingame to see how its engine/blower loox when wrecked ..

Maybe someone still remember my Anti Riot NOOSE Truck.

I've decided to bring it ingame, but yet in very early alpha stage and has lots of bugs.

I know the wheels are messed up, but i will fix that of course.

It's almost un-steerable, most likely because the wheels are misplaced. Enjoy the screens. icon14.gif

I'm not sure what you mean exactly.

But i used some parts of the Enforcer, the base of this truck was the Benson, the water cannons on the roof are from the firetruck.

Is there a somewhat 'copy + paste' option in Zmod that enables you to use the same part of a vehicle more than once?

Or do you just import the same vehicle more than once?

That's a good idea, but you could make a longer stretch limousine, so the second windows would look better wink.gif
