AnotherDave
@something_else: As I said, Chapelle is actually pretty popular, as far as I know. I know quite a few people who cite him as a good comedian. He may not be in their top 10, but then again, which non-British/Irish comedian is in an English person's mind? Hunter is only really popular over here because, like I said, about 99.9% of his comedy work is done in England. Do you think he would be as popular if he worked mainly in America? Same with Dave Chapelle. I'm sure he'd be a lot more popular if he did most of his work in the United Kingdom. Comedy is very much a localized thing. What is the difference between Jack Dee hamming up the grumpyness and McIntryre? They're all playing parts. You can't say one person is an one person isn't just because you don't like them. I personally don't like Jack Dee but I don't say that he's a rubbish stand-up. I just don't like his jokes. To be fair I said McIntyre was a twat, not a rubbish stand-up. If Chappelle did more of his work here then obviously he'd be more popular, that's a given, but his style is very American, his jokes are based around the American reaction to black people, and while there is a degree of correlation between the universal and American views on race, his material leans heavily towards the American side. There's no problem with that of course, it's the culture he lives in, works in and writes for, but it isn't the British culure. Comedy is very much a localized thing. The Notorious MOB
Pablo Francisco ftw! lolDunno y him, just seemes like he'd fit in with the game, with jokes about nightclubs and drugs.... Although i suspect Achmed the dead terrorist (i personally dont like him, and thus cant rmmbr the guys name) could well be on there. that said though, i had never heard of Katt Williams before GTA IV, and Ricky Gervais is just a prick imo. I'd Like to see Russel Howard, But i think the Brit has been done, as has the scot and im assuming Williams is american. What about an Irish. Ed Byrne - i'd love to see him on there. Or what if R* dropped the comedian (not that im wanting them to) and replaced it with something else. I'm scretly hoping for a heckling ability Still, im looking forward to finding out! Yeah I have a feeling Rockstar may add in the ability to visit a Theater show in Burlesque and watch segments of different musicals like "swinging puppets" or "banging on thrashcan lids for an hour" instead of a new comedian. Or they could simply add a Jackson 5 or Michael Jackson tribute somewhere in that Theater. That would be awesome As for the comedians, i'd love to see Jeff Dunham or Mitch Fatel. Although he's abit...um...."different" in his style of humour. Who knows if R* will add anyone.
Chukkles
I'd imagine they'd go for an American comedian, 2 British guy's and 2 American guy's or woman??? Just seems to make sense to me.
Mokrie Dela
good point, a female comedian.... Hmmm..... Gotta be that woman that did the handkercheif routine (where she makes it dissapear and pulls it out of.... different places....) lol! Please Please Please though, no michael jackson tributes or whatever. I'm gettign sick of hearing about him and theres only 2 songs of his i really like (and Alien Ant Farm did one better) which makes me think. Of the groups featured on the radio, why not add the feature to view one or some of them perform a song live (like VCS did....but then that sucked) I'm liking the idea of viewing the shows. "Im forty and no one wants to f*ck me!" "Im so tired of his tiny puppet junk, i need a real man to fill me with ****" lol always makes me chuckle. The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing. WelcomeToLibertyCity
Dane Cook, ftw! He's awesome I'd love to have him as a comedian. I imagine if he was all my time on GTA IV would be spent listening to him.
Dillinger8
Dane Cook is a hack imo. Yelling and swinging your arms around ≠ funny. I have no doubts that Rockstar are going to pick a good comedian for Split Sides.

Hey, if reading isn't your strong suit, don't bother trying. A good suggestion for comedian would be Dave Attell. Now that's a funny man.

I have no doubts that Rockstar are going to pick a good comedian for Split Sides. He doesn't just wave his arms around and yell, he is generally funny. He's not one of these comdeians that picks on other countries, religions, and races just to get a laugh. He can just sit and talk about funny things in his life. Anyways I wish George Carlin was still around. He's another comedian that would've made a kickass addition to GTA.

Oh, those statements I made were separate. If you think Dane Cook is good, he is, its your opinion. I was simply saying whoever R* chooses to be the new comedian will most likely be good. AnotherDave
Well from looking at YouTube videos of some of the stand-ups mentioned here I've found out there are a lot of awful 'comedians' about. Most of them American. I'm glad I don't live there. Here's hoping that it's the British guys at Rockstar who pick the comedian.

Mafioso86
Am I the only one that didn't like Frankie Boyle... he was a little to dry in my opinion... his jokes weren't bad, but the delivery just didn't do it for me. There's a lot of comedians I would think of as being "dry" that I like, but I couldn't get into this guy. Anyways I like the Jimmy Carr and Russell Brand suggestions... two great British comedians that a lot of Americans don't know. Do any you Brits watch the Big Fat Quiz Show? We don't get it over here, but my friend showed it to me on youtube and it was great... my formal introduction to both Jimmy Carr and Russell Brand. Almost anyone would be cool though. The only two major comedians I really don't like would be Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia... so anyone but either of them would be cool.
