Well, I finally sent my parrot to someone that can help him, I miss him quite badly.

Found an old video of him with all his feathers from my iPhone 3. (Vertical because he knew I was filming if I had it horizontal, if he noticed you were filming he'd stop what he was doing.)

I was just wondering the other day if you were able to find a place for him Glad you found someone who can care for him the way he needs to be.

Have you spoken to the new owners to see how he's doing?

He's been doing very well, he warms up to people very quickly. He had a shower today :)

Some old photos of him. (Mostly eating things he wasn't supposed to get to but did anyway, the little sneak.)

I grew up with cats in our home. We always had one cat. The last one we got around 15 years+ ago and she was a calm and beautiful cat. We had named her Suzy and my brother in law, which didnt like cats, called her Sushi. As time went she got pregnant and 5 little kittens came out. There was complications tho and one was born dead and two of them died shortly after. I dont recall the whole thing but it was something about the umbilical cord getting around the neck on the stillborn and it was something with the same cord on the others as I remeber they had wounds on their stomach. The last two me and my brother got.

We called them Pippin and Munti (Norwegian version of Merry) after Lotr as that was a big thing back then (I also was reading the book for the second time). Pippin was mine and and Munti my brothers. Munti did have a wound on his stomach, but it wasnt as big wound. He lived for 6 months but then he died. Pippin was healthy and I have many good memories of him. He was so relaxed that he sleep laying around my neck, where most other cats would fight to get off (dont ask). But when I moved away for school at 15 years old he had to stay home. He and his mother was fighting alot as he became adult and my parents did something a child should have to experience. They was being practical and had invested money on Suzy to make her sterile and decided to put down Pippin.... Without me knowing, when I was away. I came home on holiday to find out that he wasnt around anymore. Parenting done right (disclaimer: irony).

Six years ago my wife came into our family and she is allergic to animals with fur. A couple of years later my parent decided to put down Suzy as well so it was easier for my wife every time we went to visit.

Her allergy also means we cant have animals now. It is ok, but also a bit sad. I also cant greet animals I meet. It isnt the end of the world, but I miss it a little bit.

Got 2 dogs, a white staffordshire bull terrier and a small white mutt I rescued (her mother was tragically roadkilled in a highway).

I assume the mutt is a half-caste Jack Russell, she is the cutest f*cking thing though.

Here's Cozette

And the Pitbull is named Laika

Babysitting my mother's dog for a week+. That is him in the background and his sister, Peaches, in the foreground. There are 4 pugs in my house right now. Pure madness.

E:

I'm gonna get in trouble. My dogs do instagram and my mother is a follower. I posted this pic and realized my mother is going to see her dog without his harness on. He always wears his harness, but we are a harness free house. :)

Boxer/Staffordshire, had her since somewhere in the range of 2002-2005.

We have five cats. In order from youngest to oldest there is:

Splodge. So named because the first time I saw him I was feeding our cats outside and he appeared on top of our garden fence. He was a kitten, so small and weak he couldn't land properly when he tried to drop down - and just splatted onto the ground. It turned out he was OK. We adopted him and now he's a rapidly growing terror, in the feline equivalent of the terrible twos.

Rudy. Named after German actor Rüdiger Weigang. A neutered Tom with gentle disposition.

Lotte. A female with a low IQ, in many ways still kitten-like although she's a few years old.

Tegan. An intelligent, devious, independent-minded female. The cattiest of cats.

Kirk. Tegan's mother. A stray who started coming into our house and eventually gave birth to Tegan behind the sofa.

trip, got any new pictures of the cats?

Here's Pip(around the holidays). He is the last of the indoor cats. For a litter of kittens that were abandoned at 1 week old and eyedropper raised by us...they had nice long lives. Pip is 16 I think.

Here is my pond after the blizzard. Somewhere under there is over 1000 gal of water and 4 old koi.

Yup...I was a beta tester for Win 95 and the birth of MSN(before there were even web browsers).

Yeah, springers are great. I'd love one but it wouldn't be fair to the dog because of our location and lifestyle, so we had to go the lazy (no need to exercise) pug route.

Did you see the frightened ones? Did you hear the falling bombs? Did you ever wonder...

...why we had to run for shelter when the promise of a brave new world unfurled beneath a clear blue sky?

Drove my pooch around for the first time in 2016, she didn't like it one bit lol. She threw up all over the backseat.

My brother got him at 6 weeks old on Christmas day, so I suppose that makes him about 13 weeks now?
