Peaches catching a sun beam.

That reminds me of what our cat always does, climb on the highest thing possible to get the last bit of sun of the day;

2 Weeks in, and Shadow's settled in to our house pretty well. He's not shy anymore and is tolerant of the Dog. Is desperate to get outside though, just a few weeks to go now.

Menstrual Deranged

I think my hubby already posted a pic awhile back of our dog Ruger, but we also have a few leopard geckos. Here's a couple pics of my friendliest one, Toon:

And here's a recent one of our boy Ruger  He's a Dachshund/Pomeranian mix:

Does your bird free-roam the house or do you have to keep it caged? I like the idea of a free-roaming bird or parrot.

Because I took the time to trim and upload it:

Here are my dogs during feeding time. You'd think we never fed them. Nothing dainty about a pug.

Little ol' Boomer here:

5818969_orig.jpg

Poor guy went through an IVDD episode back in October...

4375206_orig.jpg

He was pretty much paralyzed for a month. We put him on crate rest and in diapers.

4301006_orig.jpg

We also got him a wheelchair, but within a few weeks he wouldn't need it.

7850214_orig.jpg

In mid November he started moving his hind legs and by late November he started standing. In time for Christmas, he was walking again (a little wobbly, but he was walking again). Still, he loved his crate (really just a crib, though).

Guy's a champion. Tough as nails. He now runs all over the place, viciously attacking his toys. Aside from his curved walk, it's like nothing ever happened.

Well, this is the end of my parrot ownership. His plucking problem kept getting worse and on the weekend we're taking him somewhere to see if we can find someone to take care of him. :(

Sorry to hear that, He's such a beautiful bird...

Do they know why he does that?

Yea, it was originally because he got too attached to me, so whenever I went to school or did anything else he would do it. The problem was I didn't know that feather pulling was actually a thing at the time, so I didn't really notice it until it had become a habit. At least he isn't dead like most of the other birds I've had that died in their sleep or from mites and stuff.

That's too bad, Hopefully you can find someone to take him in who he can be with 24/7 hopefully it won't get worse after you find him a new home.

I just hate pets because one time when I bought a dog he bite me hard and my leg was full of blood, gone hospital, took 8 vaccines and then suffered from severe pain throughout that day. From that day I just keeps my-self away from animals mostly pets.

So because of one bad experience you write off pets forever?

Two adorable kittens, Cake on the left, Rockatansky on the right (Rocky for short).

They are the best.

Yes, you can think like that but it not only happened with me one time, it happened 4 times with me.

3 time dog

1 time cat

But the most bloody and painful was that dogs bite. I thinks that the animals doesnot likes me much, don`t know why?

But my PC and Laptop are like my household pets now a days. Plays with them, timepasses with them, take their care etc.
