Well they're on a disc by themselves and they don't require you to have a regular old GTAIV disc to play them. Doesn't sound like two expansions to me. True, but they are still built from a pre-existing game. GTA London expansions are more of game than EFLC. I wouldn't consider the GTA IV dlcs to be complete games anyways if they are classified as games since the story for them (atleast TLAD as far as we know) is only about a fourth of the size of GTA IV's story behind Niko. I thought that using "fag" as a slang word for cigarette was merely an British term. I didn't know it was that popular across the pond. Either way, I doubt he was referring to a "the cast off end of a smoked cigarette" when he called him a fa**ot. Yeah it's really not... I mean if you're hanging out with the kind of dorks like me that frequent a GTA forum there's a good chance that they're also into things like British music or humor where they may have picked it up from. I of course know what it means and I may occasionally use the term with my dorky friends that know it, but were I to go up to "Average Joe American" and say, "Hey can I bum a fag?" it would probably be answered with, "Eww, get away you homo!! God hates fags! That's why he made aids!!!" I dunno, the majority of people here might not be that stupid... but there is a very vocal minority of morons (if you haven't heard our President is apparently "not a US citizen" ). Anyways, staying on topic... this made me happy, I've been checking the main page on GTA4.net everyday for weeks in hopes of news. This may be small, but at least it's something. In response to my previous thread in this topic, I take it all back, I for one am now glad we've finally got some info! October 29th isn't a bad date. It gives them more than enough time to patch the game up nicely. No cutting corners to bang the game out on release date like they did with TLAD. Also, that does look like Gracie Ancelotti to me. Different attire, but Ray Boccino also had a different attire at the beginning of TLAD, so what's stopping Gracie from having a slight wardrobe change too? I mean, almost everyone seems to agree that if another DLC was made, Gordon should/would be the protagonist - it was the same thing people said about Luis. As for reasoning, Gordon didn't seem too interested in Gracie for someone who was alone with her longer than anyone, keeping her tied up and under guard, in an isolated location. And as for Cherise, she's burned her bridge with Dwayne, Niko showed up and kills her boyfriend Jayvon, and then sh*t-kicked her next abusive boyfriend and told her she should stop dating criminals. But do you really think she'd listen? Hell no. So one day this Irish guy comes running by with an assault rifle, a duffel bag full of money, and half the LCPD on his ass... Back on tropic, I'm really liking this new artwork. Her outfit looks, as I imagine Tony would say, fab-u-lous!!! Like it's worth more than I make in a month. I can tell why Niko and the McRearys kidnapped her - she looks like she's made of money. And didn't she drive a pink Feltzer? Kinda like Lance Vance in Vice City - always wearing a white soiree suit and driving a white Infernus. All in all, I think Gracie would make a good girlfriend for Luis. Also, that does look like Gracie Ancelotti to me. I can't really see them using the same release date for both games. Grand Theft Auto Advanced (for the GBA) was released at the same time as Grand Theft Auto San Andreas (for the PS2/X-Box). Though that, in-part, is often cited as being the main reason Advance was such a commercial and gaming failure. I cannot seeing them making the same mistake twice. With all that said though, Chinatown Wars is merely a port and releasing both games on the same day might actually heighten sales (since people who come in to buy Episodes of Liberty City might also pick up CTW if they have a PSP). For one, the game is only $40 as opposed to the usual $60. On top of that, it clearly says TWO games, making that 20 bucks a piece. Even someone who knows nothing about GTA should be able to figure out that they aren't going to be full-blown sequels. What moron would think that they were releasing GTA 5 & 6 at the same time? And since when did 'complete games' mean 'separate and not connected to the original?' They are complete games in that they have a coherent story from beginning to end that, while connected to the vanilla storyline, can stand alone without it. Nor do you need IV to play them. The disc is called 'Episodes from Liberty City' and consists of two EPISODES of down-loadable content, set in Liberty City and telling the story of two different protagonists during the same time-frame as the original. Furthermore, it most likely WILL explicitly say on the box that they are DLC episodes. All you've seen is the pre-launch logo artwork, not the actual box. Anybody who takes 3 seconds to read the back of the box will most likely be made aware that they were originally DLC. FYI: com·plete adj. 1. Having all necessary parts.
